Anyone with the slightest interest in the development and well-being of the country will agree Jonathan deserves our vote. He is a man of his words. All those who are campaigning for Buhari are either too young or they forget things too easily. Take a long hard look at his past speeches, records and the rest and you will have an idea of the kind of person you are trying to elect. Nigerians either don't read or they forget things too easily. I currently live in the North and i can categorically tell anyone that care to listen that Buhari represent nothing but violence. He belongs to the past and the core North. Those who think he can win come next Saturday are daydreaming. He just does not have sufficient spread and acceptance to win an election in Nigeria. The middlebelt will not vote for him. And he can not win all the 12 core north as seen in the just concluded National assembly election. His supporters should know this before raising their hope too high. |

Why are Nigerians so indolent? If truly Phillip Emegwali is not a fraud, why is it so difficult to find any of his acclaimed patents and academic papers on a thorough google search? Nigerian people should wake up and work, build a culture of truth and hardwork and stop building their castles on lies. Academics are very thorough, hardworking and proud people they will never associate themselves with fraudsters like Emegwali. If anyone still remain doubtful of these allegations, do a google search of when and where Phillip Emegwali became a Doctor or Professor, and also search for his patents and academic publications. These search will give you no relevant results. An academic with no academic papers can only come from places like Nigeria. A government that put such a man as Phillip Emegwali on its national stamp is a reflection of a decaying and morally bankrupt nation. When there is nothing else to celebrate we celebrate decay. I really don't blame the government. |

Nigeria Super Eagle can never defeat the South Korean. I am not being pessimistic, some things are just not possible. |
"My name is Kuku and i support 1goal" and "When i grow up i wanna be a pilot" both from the 1goal education for children campaign. This Ad makes me laugh, especially with the kids' zulu accent. The south African accent(Zulu i guess) is a big turn off for me. |

Could anyone please tell him to shut the Zap UP and mind his bleeding anus. He is simply delusional |
I have said this before and would not hesitate to echo it again, Nigeria is a really messed up baby. What many people here dont clearly understand is, what Sani Yerima did is clearly Quranic. He has simply followed in the footsteps of the founder of Islam who married a minor. If you ask an average muslim about what Yerima did, they would simply tell you there is nothing wrong in what he did. If anyone is thinking the national assembly will take a measure against Yerima, the person may as well be daydreaming. The majority of the lawmakers in the NASS are muslim northerners who are sharia sympathizers. This is a result of federal government refusal to take a definite stand as regard the sharia. This is a clear conflict between the civil law and the sharia law. I was listening to a muslim medical doctor who saw nothing wrong in marrying and having sex with a minor! It is as bad as that. The North will remain backward for a long time to come, and if they dont do something about the practice of their religion, 100% education among their citizens will not help them. I have seen this before, the difference between an Hausa professor and that dirty Almajiri boy on the street is not much. They all think much more alike. The religion guide their reasoning, and you as well as i know that many things in the religion are seriously in conflict with the present realities. The only that keeps bordering me is that this people will not develop and they will not easily allow Nigeria as a country to develop. We really need a break. |
Venus is very ugly in those nasty attires, she is nowhere near her sister unless one has a eye problem |
sayso:Please tell them |
She would have looked very beautiful and sexy if i was gay. Thank God i'm not. She is so handsome she really makes me want to puke. |
It beats me people still watch those watered-down Nigerian home videos. Anyway society gets exactly what it deserves. Nigerians doesnt seem to deserve better, else they would have demanded for it. Wonder how someone like her still has a following of this magnitude. It sadly speak volume of a backward and a mediocre society. |
Small time now there will be Christian/gospel blue film to pass the message to sinners ![]() |
ehibaby:May be he is about to expire. Motherfucking scammers. |
People may find this hard to believe.the executive and top echelon in the civil service hierachy are d most corrupt |
Onlytruth:Yes, it can work but not without a price. Like i wrote in my earlier submission, no tribe is entirely bad or is the culprit of our national problem. The problem is our leadership who play on our vulnerability and ignorance to fan that seemingly ever smouldering ember of discord. The logic is the same the world over, the divide and rule principle. While we are busy pointing accusing fingers at ourselves, daily living in distrust of one another, these mindless and sometimes faceless cabals are busy milking us dry. Let me assure you, nothing will change as long as an average nigerian youth is as docile as they presently are. Imagine a staggering 85% Nigerian able body youths without gainful employment and you see them smiling in suffering. If this employment figure is real, i just wonder how these teeming youths manage to survive and you still see them smiling. For the orientation of our leadership to change, we urgently need a social response to these glaring exploitation. Look at what happened and still happening in the Niger Delta, government and everybody attention is now in the Niger delta, why? Agitation. If you agree with me, it is not only Niger delta people that are been exploited, as a matter of fact the whole people of Nigeria are. If we keep quiet and expect things to change, we may as well be daydreaming in Disneyland. The solution to the Myriads of Nigerian problem will come the moment every youth in Nigeria begin to make this country unsafe and ungovernable to these cabals. The solution to Nigerian problem will come only when these corrupt leaders can no longer sleep at night with eyes closed, when they are no longer able to spend their ill gotten monies in Nigeria. It may shock you to know that many of these moneybags don't believe there is a serious problem in Nigeria. Until armed robbers start visiting them selectively at Night. Look at what is now beginning to become a trend in Nigeria, kidnapping. Nigeria need more of such, not only in the Niger delta but in the rest of the country. This will convince these rulers that there are indeed problems in Nigeria, and if they dont address it now, they would no longer have chance to enjoy their loots. Nigerian youths should not erroneously think they can effect change by carrying placards or confronting the army or Police, no, that wont do the magic. Hit them and run away. And dont forget these scumbags now know there are problems in the Niger Delta, i think we all know the youths there did not achieve these by suffering and smiling. We urgently need a social response. Anything other than this, we may as well agree to all start chasing our tails. So, my problems are not with Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa or Ijaw rather my problem is with the Hausa, Yoruba, Ijaw and Igbo leaders and politicians who have no regret, taking me for granted |
Hausa, Yoruba Ibo or Ijaw, every tribe has its own problems. I often read with keen interest how guys on this forum try desperately to justify his or her tribe. This is a futile war that can not be won. Let me say this, the thoughts in the heart of man is inherently evil, full of hate and perversion. Looking at the naked hatred and loath with which guys attack each others tribes here, you will agree this easily dwarf the hatred that motivated Boko Haram killings. Let me give us an idea of a good tribe and a good man. This a man who is willing to accept and tolerate other people of different tribes and inclination knowing full well that he himself is imperfect, No one is. A man with a heart of love, a heart that sees beyond tribe, knowing a tribe to be just a group of people who accept similar norms and idioycracies. An average Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa Ijaw etc is not a good man. A good Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo is a man who has met God and clearly sees through his eyes. I am an Engineer and a Yoruba man. My experience while at work in the east is enough reason for me to brandish all Igbos as bad. But no, i could have had similar experience if i were in any other parts of Nigeria. Using my ugly experience in the east to generalize that all Igbo are bad would be fundamentally wrong. And for the information of those who desperately want Nigeria seperated, i assure you it will not solve any problem. It would definitely be the beginning of another myriads of problems. If we cannot tolerate ourselves as Nigerians, i know it would be difficult to tolerate one another as either Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo when we split. Maybe we have all forgotten that no tribe in Nigeria is ethnically monolithic, therein lies the problem. It is like in Marriage, where some people seek divorce as the only way out. If the man or woman marries another partner without tolerance, he/she would soon be filing for another divorce. Love, patience and tolerance is key. But no Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa man can exhibit these without a personal encounter with God, the source of all love. |
ROFLMAO.Good joke.just make sure Ateke or Tompolo no hear d joke o. |
Why nigeria has not broken remain a mystery.seem God has a plan for us.fact is, he will not help us against our wish |
How much is etisalat data card please. I am sick and tired of MTN and Zain |
@post Those chinkos are retards. Forget about browsing with it cos no internet modem is built into them. Besides china generally are not good at software engineering that is why you will find virtually no software interface for those stupid devices. By the way, i have a china phone and use it to listen to radio and watch tv. That is all they are good for. Unlike their western manufacturer, they just build products without no support. The only concession i have for them is that they make fancy phones readily available to people who cannot afford the real phones. Do a google search and i guarantee you will not find any usable results. |
MyPeace:You have said it all. Most people have a rather lopsided conception of love. Most of what we perceive love to be these days are borne out of our exposure to foreign culture. All across the world, the western culture which unarguably are the greatest evangelist of "modern" love and romance, sadly have the highest rate of unhappy homes and divorce in all of the world history. Think this is a coincidence? It isn't. I think we are all privy to the fact that our forefathers, whether you are Yoruba, Hausa or Ibo never had this kind of rather bogus definition for love and yet, they enjoy the best of marriages. Love is more than a fantasy, a teenage wishful thoughts or a fever that can be caught on the fly. It is a whole lot different from that. Love is understanding, maturity and willingness to make things work. Little wonder celebrities with unrealistic fantasies and expectations almost always fall in and out of love like it is some roulette games. Love is not instantaneous, it springs up from true friendship and with true understanding, maturity and the willingness to make things work, love blossoms. Like every good things,It is never a day job. We young people are so accustomed to fast things, the internet, the ATMs, and the fast foods, yes it obliterate our true meaning of love. This statement is almost true, if you can stand me, then, you can love me. Love takes time. |
Everybody should note and brace up for the grand agenda of the northern oligarchy. The Boko Haram saga is part of the design. The whole thing revolves around the the Niger Delta oil. I dont know if anybody could recall what the governor of Borno said. He said the Boko Haram people are not Islamic Jihadists but militants as we have them in other parts of Nigeria. It is not hard for anybody with deep insight to know that sporadic killings of these "northern militants" is a strong signal to the Niger Delta militants. What the northern elements seem to be saying is that since it doesnt take us trouble to eliminate the "northern militants", the same treatment would be meted out to the Niger Delta militants if they fail to yield to the amnesty deal. The signal though subtle, is there for everyone to see. My only concern is for the innocent and people of the Niger Delta who are not part of this dirty yet dangerous politics of oil. Make no mistake about this, the north can not survive without the oil of the Niger Delta and they will stop at nothing to drive home their points. After the amnesty deadline, stiffer measure awaits the Niger Delta people. The north will justify the evil that will be meted out on the deltans as a repeat of the "justice" that was done in the north against the Boko Haram militants, which is their brainchild anyway. One thing that keep me amused, albeit being an irony is; the north are way too desperate to keep Nigeria together, they are the one who will eventually break it. The north sadly is on a perilious path. |
