wonder233:
Fanatic, go and sit down. If Almighty Allah desires everyone to be of one religion, He would have made it so. If He also desires that people of different religions should not mix, He would also have made it so.
You fanatics are so passionate about your religion and not about your creator. You serve your religion and not your creator. If you were not born in the part of the country you were born in, you won't be in the religion you profess currently, and like others, you are only passionately reinforcing what you came to meet. You didn't think for yourself. Do you think a muslim and a christian can get to meet and want to get married if Allah did not allow it to happen? Do you think anything hapens coincidentally in this world? Anything that happens is Allah's will, it may not make sense to you as a mere human, and it doesn't have to. You just say "Allahu Allam" and move on.

What a relief that will still have deep, introspective and intelligent people around here. God made both Muslims, Christians and Traditional worshipers. We are first humans before we are either Christians, Muslims or any other religions. For me, it is humanity over every other considerations. In this part of the world, our humanity is dead. Here in Nigeria, we hate and kill ourselves in the name of religions and ethnicity, and we claim we are a believer in God. We are hypocrite and we are proud of it. Shame

Actually, I disagree

1980's started off well, then the oil price crashed, and the economy went down. Then prices of food went up under Buhari, and then SAP came with IBB.

Times were hard then, and Nigerians complained well well. It's easy to look back and think it was all well, but that was the era of things like O-1-0, Kabu-kabu, and Andrew checking out (yes people started japa then). The era when the naira started falling down.

The more things change, the more they remain the same.

This is an account from someone who actually lived through that time.

Thanks for ur enlightenment, I want to buy a new phone now, please suggest a good android Nokia phone for me. At least not more than 50k or at 50k

I currently use Nokia 3.4. Very much smooth and ok for all I do. I got it 63k, could be less I guess. A lower Nokia is Nokia 2.4, the price should be between 55k and 60k. Google the specs for both and make your choice. You may need to add few bucks to the 50k you have to get a decent phone. Of course there are some other Nokia phones within 50k range but frankly I don't recommend such. Goodluck

LOL. I just dumped Tecno camon. Hell that phone showed me pepper. After 6 month to a year, it started seriously misbehaving. It was so slow that carrying out a basic task like browsing the web was a pain in the butt. The performance was abysmal. I remember I regularly had to factory- reset my phone almost every week before it could be usable. It will interest you to know the phone internal storage was at only 55%, when phone reach 65% internal storage, it clams up completely like WTF. I researched Tecno chips and realized Tecno adopts cheap and inferior MediaTek chips that are perhaps programmed to fail within a short time forcing you to go and buy another Tecno phone less than a year. I recently broke out of this vicious cycle and got me a Nokia phone. Trust me the difference is like comparing God and Satan. So

So what am I saying, do yourself a favor and forget all the hypes from all these Nairaland paid marketers and stir clear of the overpriced junk called Tecno, unless you wish to be buying new Tecno phones every 6 month.

I just verified one today.... Put any address or rather put the address under ur passport and state likewise.

Make the passport sharp.. By scanning it full length or page if its international passport not with phone camera. Take it to the computer centre and scan. Ensure all numbers, names and everything is visible and no reflection

International passport remains the best verification method

Thanks man for this explanation. If i get you correctly, do you mean that since Nigerian International passport does not contain your address, you just scan the data page of the passport(exactly as shown in the attached image?) and just send it like that? If this is so, how will they compare and verify your address (both the one in your admob profile and the one supposedly on your passport). Please i need this info ASAP. Thanks

They do not mean the same. To a non programmer, the two are more or less the same. But a well grounded computer programmer knows that one is a subset of the other.
Programming requires a lot more knowledge, experience, and various skills to pull off than coding.

Several months after MTN introduced the Awoof data bundles, Airtel have followed suits and theirs is almost an exact replica of Mtn's. The implication is that with #100 now, you can get 200mb which lasts for 3 days, 200 gives you 1gb which lasts for 1 week and so on. Attached is a screenshot I took today and it provides more details.

just Dial *141*241# and follow the instructions.

My HP elitebook 8440p is not easily coming up. Sometime When I press the power button with the laptop plugged in and battery in place it would not respond. Sometimes when I unplug from main, with the battery still in place, battery light flicker for like 4s and then go off afterwards nothing happen. I have had to severally remove both battery and power source and press and hold the power button for 1 minute, after doing this sometimes the laptop will come up other times it won't. The battery still retain a lot of charge, and the power pack don't seem to have problem. The battery charges perfectly even when the laptop is not powering on and windows 7 run smoothly without a glitch anytime the computer turns on. One thing I noticed is that this often take place in the morning after shutting down the system overnight. Once I succeed to put it on in the morning, if I shut it down it most times power up without any stress except on very few instances. The problem is most apparent in the morning after shutting down overnight. Somebody should please help. Thanks

Who is he making the money for?
The mumu gives to charity forgetting that charity begins at home.
And the wise recipients of his charity lead lives more lavish than his.

Programming / Re: C++ Vs Java: Which Is The Most Poweful For Games? by defemz(m): 6:42pm On Sep 02, 2018
If you plan a future in the game industry, I am sorry to tell you that C++ is the de facto language in the industry. A lot has been said by earlier contributors to the post about automatic garbage collector GC handling of the memory by the Java virtual machine. There is an obvious weakness in the automatic cleaning of memory by the JVM which causes unpredictable drop in frames thereby hampering the graphic performances in heavy duty game applications. Automatic Garbage collection feature in Java has tremendous impact on ease of development of applications but presents a massive trade-off in performance as it yank off memory control from the hand of the programmer. Truth must be told the Holy grail in game programming is C++ and in my opinion that is is not about to change in a couple of years from now.

Sports / Russian Lawmaker Warns Against Sex With Blacks or non white During World Cup by defemz(m): 11:53am On Jun 14, 2018
The World Cup being hosted by Russia is fraught with controversy of all kinds.

One Russian lawmaker figured adding a little more on top on the eve of the action wouldn’t hurt.

Russian lawmaker says no to sex with World cup visitors

Tamara Pletnyova, head of the lower house of parliament’s Family, Women and Children Committee, warned Russians against having sex with foreign visitors during a radio appearance on Wednesday. More specifically, she warned Russian woman against getting pregnant by visitors, hearkening back to the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

“There will be girls who meet men, and then they will give birth,” Pletnyova said via translation. “Maybe they will get married, maybe they won’t. But the kids will suffer, just like they suffered [after the Moscow Olympics].”

“It’s the children who suffer and have suffered since the Soviet era.”

If you do have sex, don’t mix races

But Pletnyova wasn’t done with simply advising residents against trysts with visitors and the perils of being a single mother or a child born out of wedlock.

She clarified that if you’re going to have sex with a foreigner, just make sure that partner is white.

“If it’s another race, then it’s even worse,” Pletnyova said. “We should give birth to our own children.”

“I’m not a nationalist, but nonetheless,” she added.

OK.

Russia has history of racism in soccer venues

This is not the first first incident intertwining racism and soccer in Russia.

FIFA fined the Russian Football Union $30,000 for fans directing racist monkey chants at French players during a pre-World Cup friendly in May.

Danny Rose, a black English soccer player, told the UK’s Evening Standard that he told his family to stay home during the World Cup out of concerns of racism.

“I’m not worried for myself,” Rose told Standard Sport. “But I’ve told my family I don’t want them going out there because of racism and anything else that may happen. I don’t want to be worrying when I’m trying to prepare for games for my family’s safety.

“My dad’s really upset. I could hear it in his voice. He said he may never get a chance again to come and watch me in a World Cup. That was emotional, hearing that. It’s really sad. It’s just how it is. Somehow Russia got the World Cup and we have to get on with it.”

European anti-racism watchdog FARE warned World Cup visitors on Tuesday to take precautions in a “difficult environment” amid repeated reports of racist behavior in Russian stadiums.

Russia has pledged to crack down on racism during the run-up to the World Cup.

Pletnyova apparently didn’t get that memo.

I think it depends on the disco concerned. In mando area in Kaduna, light come 3am to 6am. Then 3pm- 7pm. Many other days no light at all. Before the Kaduna electricity distribution company took over we normally had light for 23hours. I am bold to say KAEDCO is conveniently the worst run disco in nigeria. Early this year they sacked almost 600 staff in one fell swoop. The disco is currently on live support. And the federal government is pretending not to see all these.

Some smart alecs and overfed gluttons sit like queen bees on the altars in the church, and tell you to bring your money so that they tell God to give you more money. And you are not asking them why they are rather collecting money from you, why not offer same prayers to God so that God can give them money. If they so trust that God do provide money why are they so much relying on your money.
After MMM saga in nigeria, i gave up on the intellectual level of the average nigerians. Like pastor bakare said, nigerian christians hang their brains outside before entering the Church.
