PapaBrowne: Thanks for your post, highly appreciated. As much as I am for making an Impact in making Nigeria a better place, am not exactly sure where to start other than a complete Revolution which by the look of the Ethnocultural composition of Nigeria its very unlikely to succeed. A lot of nigerians are helpless in making real physical changes because we are all held ransom by the political thievies ruling Nigeria and its sad atcually. I happen to know a few people who have been unfortunate to lose their life in their Struggle to make Nigeria a better Place, Personal Friends. Nigeria currently has nothing to Offer any of it Citizen and when I say Nigeria I am referring to the Leadership of Nigeria. " The labour of our heroes past Shall never be in vain, " The Quotes Above were copied fom the Nigerian Anthem, unfortunately reverse is the Case. I personally have looked at the problems facing Nigeria and cant see a lasting Solution Democratically unless Nigeria Split up into the 3 main Tribes we have, because as long as an Ibo President is in Power and the Militant are "being" re-habilitated at a sum of 27 Billion Naira annually (Re-habilitate in form of Monthly lump sum payment to Militant) any revolution to oust such government will not succeed because the part of the country that such leader ails form will not partake in such revolution and please note that this goes for the all the remaing tribal regions we have in nigeria and this applys vice versa. My point is the decay in the Nigerian Society is of extremely alarming levels it is unimagineable, For the OP who feels helpless and sees leaving Nigeria for Greener pasture is the best option for Him, I see no reason not to wish him luck, a few people I know have also left the shores of Nigeria due to one health Condition or another and they feel it is a risk by staying in Nigeria if there was an alternative. A lot of people feel irrelevant in their own country so who am in to blame them for seeking greener pasture? In my opinion before things can get better in Nigeria we need a fresh start, which can never be achieved with the current leadership that we have. So I ask you again, what is my responsibilty as a Nigerian to move this country forward. |

Good luck man, Best of Luck in your Travels, Most important thing is to secure the future of your kids, This (our) generation is a hopeless one unfortunately and seems everyone is contented to leave like this, Nigerian situation is as hopeless as hopeless can be, |

I wonder why we still havent stormed the seat of government in ever Nigerian State up to the National assembly to hold this people ransome as well as eliminate them in any capacity possible. Thing is they do not seem to care what happen to the ordinary man as long as they have enough billions in there ban Accounts. The typical Nigerian always worry about himself and not about the people around him, its quite sad, Just yesterday A petrol tanker caught fire in Ibadan and people were burnt to death, days before, soldiers went on rampage killing fellow law enforcement officers, |

The Question is why is all the Allegations of Rigging only being pitched against the PDP camp, Does this not question the fabric of the Said PDP party? Some things are clear and cannot be changed. 1. PDP is not a party for the benefit of ordinary Nigerians. 2. PDP does not have the love of Nigerians or Nigeria at Heart except for what they can Put in their Pocket. 3. PDP is a party that lacks Societal Morals and is not afraid to continue to do so. 4. PDP is the party that boast the Highest Numbers of Criminals parading as politicians. 5. PDP is that party that has no Shame whatsoever, the type of party that will Welcome a convicted criminal amidst fun-fair and celebration. 6. PDP is the party where Corruption is Business as Usual and the more you can steal the more highly you are respected. 7. PDP is the party that is ready to throw Billions of Naira around ensuring another 4 years of plundering the Resources of Nigeria. PDP is bad news for Nigeria, and a Cancer in the Heart Nigeria/Nigerians. |
Politics / Re: Video Evidence Of Massive Rigging! by dejavus: 1:02pm On Apr 15, 2011 |
Got this from another source, " Here is how some ACN victories in the North-Central were upturned. Each polling unit with more than 500 registered voters have sub polling units. These sub units exist only on papers and not physicaly because INEC claimed they cant afford to pay extra staff for the subunits. Therefore, the ballot papers for the sub units were then thumb printed in favour of the ruling party in connivance with the Residence Electoral Officers. So, even if an opposition party led in the major polling units, like was indeed the case, the sum total of rigged votes from sub polling units was what reversed the ACN gains. My sources were the many corps members who witnessed, first hand these manipulations. Friends, now we see that the battle does not end after the counting at polling booths. Community based election monitoring only goes so far. We must follow them to the collation centre and any E38-Form without the full signature and physical attestation of our agent must be rejected. " |

hercules07: We tried the "political" selection process and it does not seem to be working in the favour of us average Nigerians, how about we try other means of ensuring that our rights are not trampled upon, like massive protest against any apparent rigging like we ve seen on the Viral you-tube video, the problem is as long as we sit down with our hands in our Laps, nothing will change and the Looters will continue to Loot and the Masses will continue to wallop in Misery and Poverty. Maybe its time Nigerians Take to the Street and show the Looters we need rid of them or all hell will break loose, our we think Nigerians are Bigger than that? |

efisher tell me exactly how God has blessed Nigeria? Blessed us with Corruption and Leaders who will do anything to hold unto Power no matter the cost even if it Involves the mass loss of Human Lives? Blessed us with having the Highest number of Religious Worship Centres in the World which makes no difference to how we treat ourselves as Individual or as A nation.? Blessed us with Oil put also Put in Place Government that will Plunder the Oil that is meant to Benefit the Populations of this Country? Blessed us for neglecting the weak and the killing the innocent? Blessed us because the rights of people are being denied them? Please tell us exactly how, |

This is the part where Nigerians start weeping, Interesting Prayer from the above link though, I ll just post it below: IF you do not have anything to be afraid of then there's no need to be afraid except for the lady caught in the Video, " A Prayer for all Riggers May you all die violent and miserable deaths. May the consequences of your actions destroy the lives of your children, your children's childrens to your 10th genration. May you never see or taste peace. " |
Phones / Re: Android Or Iphone, Which One Is Better? by dejavus: 7:52pm On Dec 18, 2010 |
Am surprised everybody is comparing the Iphone and the galaxy S, knowing fully well Samsung just got into the android race not long ago, How about you compare the iphone to the liks of the HTC desire, Nexus One, Desire HD etc. Apple has its fanboys but unfortunately am not one of them, I like my devices flexible and Iphone is not giving me that Option. I customize my rom, mod etc, on the android OS, Look at the case of Flash on the Iphone, steve jobs is just deceiving himself likewise all iphone fan boys, I want to be able to just plug my phone into the PC as a USB device drag and drop my Video Files I downloaded overnight and watch on my way to work , same goes for Audio files, without having to go through the abomination called itune. The iphone has an headstart in terms of gaming and apps, but the android platform will some overtake the Iphone due to the Open source code enabling countless numbers of developers to get their hands dirty, its worth to know about 300,000 android devices are being activated daily (News of 9th Dec 2010.) Each to their own, I have compared both devices and apple is just not cutting it for me. Unfortunately I know quite a lot of people who got the iphone because it was seen as a fashion accessory / and a must have even though they have absolutely no idea what it does apart from making a call. |
