You could check the memory ram
And remove one at a time to see which ram
Memory is causing the problem. You can google it yourself on how to remove your tam. I'd adviced that you take to a technician

The charging port, is it loosed? Connect the charger and wiggle it, can you feel something loose or the LED lights blinking ?

Let the battery run down until the laptop promo you to charge it. Charge it to 100 percents and observe any changes. Don't charge it twice just once till it reaches 100%

typed. When I diagnose a laptop, I think about myself, how
easy with it be for me. would i type 100 words of instructions or
rather ask the user to click on a link or google search with our guidiance. I choose the
easy way. therfore hp have documented this on their website, so go to google and
google hp non system disk and click the first link titled

biggerboyc: thanks for ur responds. the maker of is hp and model is just "notebook" i saw there window vista. dual operating system. the current operating system i'm using is window 7. it make the complain when i put on the system. ive press f10 and perform hdd test but still gat thesame result. thanks

try and refresh your sound card drivers by running
devmgmt.msc in the run box by pressing windows logo and lette
R on the keybaord and look for sound and video game controllers

restart the laptop and get to bios by pressing f2 or 1 you'd see a blue screen
connect charger and make sure the laptop is charging and timed how long it
took it to turned off. we are trying to eliminate what might have caused it.

the step instructions. google doesn't misled
when it comes to tuition. you'd need to
rip the contents from the audio cd to your
laptop and then go to burn and drag and drop the
content to a blank cd then click burn. it is far better to

Burning cd doesn't have any effect on a laptop.
please follow cd copyright laws. windows media
player would be the ideal software to use in buring
cd's. it would be better if you could google how to
burn cd in media aplayer. it is far better than sometime
telling you.you need a cd-rw or cd-r or +r to record. please
check the blank disc can record before buying it.

3kay945: Please guys, my laptop Compaq always refused to come up from sleep. The screen will remain blank anytime I try to wake it up from sleep. Am always left with option of force shutting down then power up again before it can be used.

i jst wanted to experience d windows8,i did not run any compatibility test o as it was done by my street engineer and d cd was from his shop.
The system came with windows 7 but i installed the windows 8 on it last saturday.it worked but it seemed to drag so i returned it for the engineer to downgrade back 2 windows 7.he was not able to re-install it and he also tried to install a cracked version of vista which he claimed works like the windows7.
Next day,i went to him and he tld me it is hard disk problem and i should bring 3k.pls help me out and explain more on the repair process.Thanks

for example blue scree errors or

In the future always check to make sure you
are doing the right thing . take for example, you wouldn't
pour ford focus oil into a toyota without having a second
thought. is the same as a laptop. always double check. it saves you

Do you mean that, the laptop went off during window's installation ?

If yes, I'd advice you to restart the installation. if the installation is from
cd, get hold of the cd and continue the install. you may need to check that
the laptop is set to boot from cd. bios boot order. google it, if unsure.

what do you mean by spoilt ? i.e. virus, blue screen errors

I presume your solution would have to stop processes running "everytime" when he/she powers on the system right? smh

LordReed: Processes can be stopped from running even if the computer is restarted. If you don't know how, ask you will be taught.
