It's not about skin color, it's about development. Irish were once very poor and hungry, they flocked to America as poor starving people in ragged clothes. They weren't considered white and even human for a long time. Indians have dark skin, there are millions of Indian immigrants in the USA and a good number of them are in software and tech industry. Southern Indians are even darker than half of Nigeria but no one is racist to them. Reasons being, the Indians make a considerable percentage of engineers and IT workers in America, and India made great progress of development and became the world's tech support and call center hub with their IT education investment.

I agree with you 100% on that, however, the issue of blackfishing as it is seen now goes beyond racial insults, it is about racial profiteering and exploitation. Most of the "white people" that are being accused of blackfishing are Instagram influencers and so is obvious that they do it to profit from it. So, "black people" are thinking, ok, you built your society by exploiting the strenght of our bodies, now you want to build your acceptance and bank accounts by exploiting our cultural identity and essence, the same cultural identity that you intentionally denigrated and dragged in the gutters for 100s of years.

You are sounding like men can NEVER raise children and the responsibility of raising children is on the mothers entirely and this is where you are getting it wrong. * Sowore also sold us the scam in 2015. And as late as 2017 was still selling the scam even when the illiterates in the village knew otherwise. He like Buhari has a narcissistic complex thinking he holds all the solutions. There's no one he hasn't derided forgetting as President, he'd would need to handle these forces with care and engage if he's to make any progress.
* Moghalu was a CBN deputy governor. Enough said.
* Durotoye also sold us the scam in 2015 and his campaign rips directly from the books of how our established politicians ply their trade. Bottom line, his candidacy does not hold as much promise as his high-sounding words may appear.

These our young aspirants are the Babangida, Abacha, and other young military officers during Nigeria's infancy. Pillars that have been part of the problem whitewashing themselves as saviors. My advice for them is to go local and change things. If the Presidency is the only way you can effect change, you need to take a chill pill.

Buhari was a military governor. Atiku won a governorship election. GEJ, Yar'Adua, and OBJ same thing. It is the height of arrogance to expect that because you run a newspaper, ran an activist campaign, or are young, then the nation's seat of power should be gifted to you.

Unless the earth's atmospheric conditions rapidly transforms in a way that doesn't support life anymore I think mankind will still exist till the next 5000 years. 5000 years is not too distant. The effects of overpopulation, disease outbreak or major wars will only reduce the population but can't make humans completely extinct. Don't forget that humans are intelligent species and can always come up with clever means of survival.

When Africans migrate to developed countries you consider it normal, but when foreigners step foot on your country you call it colonization. Your resources has been there for thousands of years and you haven't figured out what to do with it. Another country is coming to make good use of it and you are complaining. Why would properties of other tribes be taken over just because of a split? That's insane. Maybe I would agree if there was a serious fight between Yorubas and igbos which is unlikely. But as long as the split wasn't caused by a huge conflict between Yorubas and igbos I see no justified reasons for Yorubas to take possession of Igbo properties.
