Hello Nairalanders,

I am Okoro, a FUTO student. I have not been able to pay my school fees, and on Monday, the semester exams will start. The school have a policy of no fees no exam. I have tried all the people I know but nothing is coming forth. I am sponsoring myself to school. I can't afford to drop out now, I am in my fourth year.
Please help me.

Here is my phone number 07056552843

Bank is Diamond Bank
Acct number 0024727225

Thank you very much as you help me. God bless you.
It would have been better not to go to school. It's better you saved the little money available to start a business. Why waste your last card going to school when the certificate may not even give you employment after you graduate? After graduation you are still going to need money to start a business to survive.

Nigeria a country blessed with wonderful people but stupid leaders.
You are VERY WRONG. How can you have a wonderful population and then have bad leaders? The leaders come from population isn't? If we are having bad leaders coming from the population then it means the population is corrupt too. Stop using our leaders as an excuse rather than admitting the population is corrupt and needs a lot of education and enlightenment. If we refuse to accept the truth we will never solve our problems.

Really?....look at our current population...look at the natural resources we have.... our arable lands.... our population density.... generally free of natural disasters..... aren't we supposed to be a booming country? Compare with other countries with as large populations but very limited natural resources..... our leaders have no vision, no will nor intentions of guiding Nigeria to prosperity... our citizens make no effort to hold fire to their feet..... but hope someday ..somehow...things will magically change. On our own..we have no capita to even start a business....but in the twinkling of an eye.... we find capital to travel to Europe...illegally. 2 million people...nothing will change.
I don't think our problem is just a leadership problem. Many of us blame our leaders but I don't see it that way because it is not the ROOT of the problem. Our leadership problem is only a manifestation of the failure of the ROOT. Our leaders come from the general population. If our leaders are bad then there must be something wrong with the general population of Nigeria. When you pick 10 Apples from a certain basket of Apples and they are all bad then something must be wrong with the whole basket of Apples. Using this analogy it's obvious something is actually wrong with the general population of Nigeria to always generate waves of bad leaders. Now the question is, what exactly is wrong with general population of Nigeria which breeds bad leaders? My own answer to the question is LACK OF EDUCATION. When I say "lack of education" in this context I don't mean not having a ph.D or B.sc. I actually mean not having a modern and advanced understanding of life and how we ought to live and interact together in a community. This is what I feel is the ROOT problem of Nigeria and not just bad leaders. The people are the problem. It's a thing of psychology. Educating and changing the mindset of our entire population to make us start doing the right thing is not something to happen overnight. It will take many years. Something like 400 years. We are simply still evolving.

If the population of Nigeria is reduced to 2 million... half of us will be happy... because we'll now have a better chance of migrating legally. Migration s mainly a mentality problem. .... not being willing to fiX our main local problem.... corrupt politicians.... when we are the ones that have the power to do so. We do not hold those we voted in accountable. Other countries do...the reason they are making progress and we are not. We prefer to run away.
If the population goes down to 2 million the situation will greatly improve that I don't think anyone will bother migrating for a better life unless you only want to change environment. At 2 million population in a country the size and wealth of Nigeria it will be easier to lift everyone out of poverty. We will all be comfortable because the resources available will go round everybody. Unemployment will be 0% because there will be shortage of labour and people will be begged to come and work. Minimum wage will be so high like you are earning a salary in an oil company. It will be easier to educate the population and provide healthcare for all. Life will be great.

I agree 100%.... like you said... I'm aware they have started... the extent I have no clue...these people are devious. We need to be careful of the 'gifts' coming our way.
But to be honest I support the depopulation IF it will be done by only inhibiting fertility and not unleashing some deadly virus. It will go a long way to improve life in Africa. As the situation stands there is so much poverty in Africa while Africans still reproduce rapidly. It can't continue like this. Why bring in more humans when the ones existing are not even cared for? It only makes the poverty and migration situation worse.

Do you know Bill Gates is the biggest advocate for population control?...and is big on getting vaccines to Africans period? What you fear...is already here...but like you said....we wouldn't even suspect.
Remember I said "many wouldn't suspect". The fact that you are aware of it doesn't mean everyone else is also aware. MANY are still not aware or suspect anything going on. I also said "at some point" because no one in Africa knows for sure when the plan is in full swing. Even you yourself isn't even fully 100% sure of what is going and the timing of events.

Yeah well. This was what everyone thought of the nazi party. They can never get power, d Germans & d intl community won't accept their racist policies. Then the German economy collapsed and everyone blamed it on Jewish migrants. Guess what, the whole country voted the nazis and they honored their mandate, in its gruesome gory.

You never know what man is capable of doing when pushed to the wall. It's just best not to test it. But human beings are greedy so history will always repeat itself.

Also, the solution is not to be recolonized. As in the past, the country will just be robbed and the pple dehumanized in some way. Like in South Africa. There's no such thing as a free lunch or service. Everyone's in it for sthn. The only solution is for our people to build the country we want, based on our beliefs and principles. We need to raise our children wt the ideals we hold dear. Everything else is a bandaid dt won't last. And it's not impossible. It's bin done in Botswana, Dubai, Singapore.etc. Even if it means disbanding the country, in order to move forward. But these conversations need to be had and determined by us. The white man doesn't really care & really it's not their responsibility.
Taking a look at the situation of things in Africa, in my opinion it would be easier for foreigners to intervene and set things straight in Africa than for Africa to suddenly wake up just like that and start doing the right thing. If and whenever Africa wake's up on its own its not something to happen overnight. It would take many years, probably about 400 years cos we so far behind. Our situation will have to get worse first before getting better due to the rapid increase in population. The migration situation will get worse too as the population increases. Heaven knows the next measures Europeans will be taking to solve the problem.

Italians are actually complaining. Europeans nations hold meetings about the issue.

At a point Europeans may take measures to depopulate Africa in a quiet way that many wouldn't suspect. Many Africans would suddenly become infertile. It's very easy to do.

After a while theyll stop picking them up.
Theyll just let the mediterranian swallow them. The rest dt get through to italy will probably be placed in some maximum security concentration camp where they're used for experiments & then burnt alive. They've done it before to migrant Jews.

Their societies are getting more angry, conservative and racist wt this migration problems. Once they all vote in right wing, hardline leaders like trump. The end.

I dont understand why most blacks always want sthn handed to them. If whites did not invent cars, ships and airlines, wouldnt we be in our farms eating with content? Why cant we build our societies wt our own hands, who are we leaving dt hardwork to? Our greatgrandchildren?
They can't do such because there would be outrage from the international community. For this problem to be solved it has to be tackled from the root. My suggestion would be for the Europeans to colonize Africa again to clean up the continent since Africans can't do it themselves. The migrants wouldn't have any sufficient motivation anymore for leaving their lands and seeking greener pastures.

Igbos being in Nigeria is not an excuse for not developing their area. If Igbos are serious about helping themselves they can excel even while they are part of Nigeria. Nothing like being slaves. It's only when they are under violent attack or intensely marginalized that I believe it would make sense to ask for an exit.

Sorry to say this Igbos do not love themselves
We are just making mouth. Give them a chance to bring out one person, you will see a serious fight among themselves. I knows what am talking about. People who are not united cannot or never win a general election in Nigeria. Their votes will be devided and that's it. Unlike the northerners who will unites and vote emmass. So don't be surprise if they continue to rule Nigeria.
That's the reason why I do not support Biafra. Igbos appear to be united at the moment because we are competing with other tribes in Nigeria. When we are left alone that's when Igbos will remember how "cunning" an Ngwa man is, how "unreliable" an Mbaise man is. How "greedy" an Anambra man is. All this stupid stereotypes. Igbos like to dominate. The recent Bishop appointment wahala at Ahiara or whatever where some priest rejected a Bishop cos he is from Anambra is just one of the signs. Igbos like to dominate and I wonder how intense the political power struggles will be in Biafra.

This is actually an invasion without guns. African migrants are trying to take over their lands. Deporting every person is going to cost the Italians money. This is something that happens 24/7 a year.

What is it up there I read about a Vagina not getting slackened because of excess dick?? Lmao... Also made up a lame excuse of it being elastic.

Look here! You can reiterate this thing on threads and many might believe but not me.

1. If you say the Vagina is elastic, then you'll agree with me that there's a yield point (break point) in any material as well as a vagina. By that I mean when an elastic material undergoes stretching up to a point where it loses it's elasticity. You could also say no dick is big enough to cause such an expansion but that would be a very big misconception. Go watch a BBC porn vid

2. A vagina is elastic yeah?? Little wonder some men no longer prefer having sex with their woman after she's delivered of a baby... Most complaining of it's slacken state.

3. Oh yeah... How well is a Vagina Elastic?? Meet an old prostitute (by old I mean one who's been long in the occupation) and affirm how slackened her Arrow is.

I'm not a misogynist but I hate misconceptions especially when construed so well that some gullible minds could fall for.

Counter this first and if I'm satisfied (that would be almost impossible), then I might start with the boobs theory.

Making these explanation just to stop slut shaming won't help much 'cause all men are ill-informed.
Get yourself educated first before typing any rubbish. Information is on the internet so you don't have any excuse to be this ignorant. Frequent sex with many partners cannot make a vagina loose.
RomanceWhat's Making You Angry With The Opposite Sex? by Delivar(op): 2:42pm On Apr 08, 2018
Most times when we read through many threads we see men attacking ladies bitterly as well as ladies attacking men bitterly for one reason or the other. I know something must have caused people to insult and curse the opposite sex. It's either they had a certain ugly experience with the opposite sex or they just feel jealous of the benefits that comes with being the opposite sex. Whatever it is I would like anyone who is bitter with the opposite sex to come in here and mention exactly what it is that makes him or her unhappy with the opposite sex so issues can be ironed out, and guys can learn and avoid doing what has been pissing ladies off, and ladies can also learn and avoid doing what has been pissing guys off.

The only reason you want an Igbo president is just for ethnic pride and nothing else. That's a silly reason. Instead of campaigning for actions to change a lot of things going wrong in Nigeria you are focused on Igbo presidency which at the end of the day will not solve the biggest issues we are facing in this country hindering our development.

Because some people will not know her and understand why she is making headlines. She is not that popular to be mentioned without an introduction. An upcoming artiste for instance still needs the introduction as an upcoming artiste because he/she is not that popular yet. Therefore the introduction as Wizkid's ex is necessary. She has to make a name for herself and become very famous before the title as Wizkid's ex can be dropped.

Maybe we should just stop having kids.
Mtcheeew!
Aunty have you heard of over-population? The consequences is slowing manifesting. One of the notable consequences is the difficulty in finding a reliable source of income no matter how hard you try. It would get worse soon. I don't blame the poster cos I understand what is going on.

Having many male kids in an overpopulated society is problematic because when they get frustrated not finding a means of survival they can be forced to resort to crime in desperation to survive.

DBestDoc:
The Op is not totally wrong. If you'd avoid bias and do a lil research on this, you 'll agree with him to an extent.

I have 6 brothers and 1 sister, and if you ask my parents, they'll concur with him.

My 1 sister has added more value to my family than the 6 boys put together have ever done. Sometimes, i look at my parents and i feel so much pity for them. Too many male children, lesser gains compared to the investments so far

For me, if it's going to be one child, it has to be female. But then Op, how do we stay away from male childten? Hahaha, you killed me.

Some male children are wonderful though, lots of them are very thoughtful. Their parent's pride.
It's not about male children as the poster stated it. Any of your siblings male or female would have been the successful one. It just happens to be your sister by chance. The problem is the population is rising to uncomfortable levels while the resources are not there to absorb the growing numbers. Government incompetence plus over-population is exactly why unemployment and tension is so high at this period. The poster made a point in an unclear manner. Giving birth to many male children at this period of high population will be problematic when they grow up and become frustrated not being able to find anything doing to support themselves. They will be pushed to indulge in criminal activities. Even females wouldn't be spared. A frustrated female can become a prostitute to survive, but their criminal tendencies isn't as high as that of males cos females always have a way of getting things from men.

Your family situation is the way it's going to be with many families as time goes on. In a family of 6 children only 1 or 2 will be successful and care for the rest. The rest will be there occupying space on earth for nothing. Which tells us that their existence on earth isn't required and shouldn't have been born in the first place. Why give birth to more than required? We ain't helping ourselves.

Actually I am not even interested in having children. I just can't stomach being responsible for another person survival and wellbeing in this day and age when the world already has more people than required and more are still coming in to make the situation worse in decades to come.

eyinjuege:
prechbills1 , this is also for you. Im not sure if i quoted the right person

Marriage, preganancy and childbirth draws women bsck in terms of achievement.
Have you observed women in universities not burdened physically and emotionally, and healthwise by marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare tend to do well in school and give the men in their class a run for their money? I'm not talking of unserious students into runs, cultism like their unserious male counterparts o. Just a regular lady.
They have a level playing field with their male counterparts ( thats even for those who their parents feel should have an eductaion despite being female).
However, once they get married, most have to push back their dreams and aspirations to stay in their husband's house, the physical and emotional impact of pregnancy on their bodies is also something not to be overlooked. After delivery, the care of the child automatically falls on them. Thats like 2 full years of their lives gone and they not being their normal self to pursue goals. Just as the child is being weaned off, and can even try to stay in nursery without their mums, they get pregnant again. Imagine 3 to 4 pregnancies, thats 6-8 years of your life you can't think straight. Im even talking of women who are very "open eyed" o, that are quite happy for a nanny to help raise their children. Some women cannot do anything tangible till their last child is like 8 years (meaning from their first pregnancy for a mum of 3, and having 2-3 years spacing btw their kids, they have lost like 14 years of their productive youthful lives)
Then we have some men who are not in anyway supportive of their wives careers, the women cannot travel from Lokoja to abuja for a job interview. He's not ready to relocate even though the job offer of the wife in Abuja is 4 times his salary, and he has also not agreed to let her relocate on her own (if it was a man, he would have relocated without batting an eyelid, and is quite happy to let his family stay back. He will gladly promise to come and be checking on them once a month, and if she dares insist he cannot go, she is tagged by everyone as the enemy of progress) . She also has to let that opportunity go.
I'm talking of real life experiences here o.
So its not because of laziness we have more male achievers. Thats why i give it to career women, who have managed to have a home, and a sound career. Its not beans, and if you should hear the sacrifices they had to make for such, you yourself will say no thank you, keep your career. Let me be "lazy"
What made me ask that question is I initially stated that nature made man to dominate women and that prechbills1 guy cancelled my post. Everything you have written up there shows that nature actually made man to dominate women which means my statement was correct. If women can't compete with men on an equal standing due to pregnancy, child birth and all you mentioned above then it is nature's doing.
