Ogashub:Christian= Christ-like, you are not Christ-like. |
Kondomatic:God is not man my dear, he does not dish out punishment like man does. |
teabully:Continue lying until your thunder is mature enough to strike your left leg. |
eezeribe:At least she did, arm chair critics like you are so mentally lazy to contribute anything meaningful to anyone or anywhere, you only put on your jacket of entitlement EVERYWHERE YOU GO!!! |
Where there is a gathering of two or more people, it is important to elect a leader, this is according to Islamic teaching, it allows order in such a gathering because such elected leader is being looked upon as a source of direction. |
Nigerian youths always display their sense of entitlement everywhere, no one said it would be easy for every youth. For me this is not pain, it should rather build them mentally to endure the tough times life throws at them. Here is a photo of disabled US war veterans who are displaying a sense of nationalism despite their pains.

I live in port harcourt, this place is not a park, it has nothing inside that would attract anyone not even a child, there is one empty non functional park adjacent this new one close to happy bite (opposite Airforce base) in the same port harcourt. It is just another display of lack of creativity. No place for rare animals, no merry-go-round, no acade for gamers, just empty like the head of those who concieved the ideas. It's high time we stopped celebrating lack-luster performances just because of party, ethnic or religious affililiations/affinity. I'm so disgusted that this is being celebrated by young people who are supposed to be burning with great ideas. |
You are not brief |
jerryclinton:That's the problem mate, Qua Iboe girls are very tricky and subtle, they never come straight, they are also very selfish. Igbo land is big and has the very good, the very bad and ugly, so just as you have Ngozi okonjo iweala, you have afrocandy. You may be from Akwa Ibom but you have to do more to learn about your own state, Akwa Ibom is a corruption of the word Qua Iboe which is the name of a river in that region (as named by Europeans), hence the name Akwa Ibom. And the church was also named a province of Qua Iboe by the same Europeans. |
jerryclinton:Good morals kwa. Have met a couple of girls from Qua Iboe, mehn those babes eyes don tear, they are always scheming to empty your pocket while you'll be forming deep love. Side be side, Igbo girls are safer than Qua Iboe babes. |
evexx1:Maybe not all are indulged in RUNZ but a lot do, most Akwa Ibom girls love cash (too much) and they can be very tricky when money is involved. My opinion about Igbo girls changed when I met Akwa Ibom girls. But they are beautiful tho. |
The story seem twisted, did the bus hit the youths or the youths hit the bus, I really don't trust journalists, they have a way of twisting stories. |
Obiano looks like a midget sha. |
Husband with the same facial expression in every photo. Set mouth like goat wey smell him own piss, always. Guy change your style!!! another one!!! |

My brother I just wonder how they display this much hypocrisy without feeling guilty I their hearts, also, they do it collectively without one or two of them saying it's bad to display brazen hypocrisy. I have always said a Nigerian Christian prefers the image of Christianity to be good even if so much evil is going on behind the holiest church doors than their religion being exposed in bad light that is why they spend much time pointing to the wrong on Muslims so as to take away the attention from their evil ways. Muslims on the other hand are their own greatest self critics. It's really all about the image. |
Nigeria's weekends were created to serve Christians to rest on Saturdays and worship on Sundays, whereas Muslim countries have their weekends on Fridays for worship and Saturdays for rest. Schools go on short and long vacations to suit Christian festivals and no considerations were given for Muslim festivals whatsoever. And you don't see Muslims masturbating on the matter. Mordern day Christians are easily upset when they hear Muslims or Islam, it seems to wake up every hate nerve in them. I wonder how they say so many hateful and intolerant things about Islam and Muslims and still turn around to say Muslims are not tolerant. Christians harbour deep rooted hatred for Muslims. Please guys don't let your hate hurt you. |
The "Fulani Herdsmen" card has been overplayed by ritual killers in some parts of the country. |
Take a look at what's on their shoulders before you ask questions, secondly the answers to your questions are on the Internet, hope you are not trying to MANIPULATE nairalanders into some sort of arguments. |
IpobExposed:This is not the uniform of the Nigerian military stop being a lying fo*l |
successmatters:Most families come under financial pressures from time to time including your family, does it mean your father was always taking out his frustration on your mother when he's broke? You seem to attach everything to money/finances, typical of Nigerian gold digging girl as know world wide. |
successmatters:You are incapable of processing thoughts like a functional human being, how does beating a woman to pulp connect with president Buhari? Are you normal? Must you force two unconnected issues by all means? That is why we can not proffer solutions to our problems in this country because of how we see our problems in the first place. It's a pity. |
These are the lamest excuses ever given by a dull organization. So all the problems come from the applicants and none is due to human errors/issues from FRSC? |
Another important reason we can not achieve such feat is because young men and women in my country spend so much time destructively criticizing their government past and present and never proffer any meaningful solution. Inasmuch as we are good critics, the average Nigerian is incapable of articulating his vision of good governance. Remember our leaders are not worse than us, they are simple products of an inherently corrupt society, we may have a more terrible leaders if we wipe out this set and replace them with new ones. And please everyone should stop saying Africa/black man is cursed because a lot of African countries have perfect few of their sectors just as Ethiopia has a great airline industry, Kenya has a great tourism industry, Rwanda has a perfect rail system. East African countries have perfected primary health care system and in fact education system. North Africans are also economically productive and stable. The problem in Nigeria is not just our leaders but all the people. Including criticizing nairanders without saying what the solution should be. |
Pidgin2:Are you okay?
|
xynerise:Over fit. They look so beautiful in the attire. |
AlamienDagash:With the amount of hate being spewed on nairaland and other media, I can confidently say ethnic and religious hatred has transferred its base from the north to the south. So much hate. |
Timijo:I'm talking based on my observation right from childhood not just this singular case. It seems forbidden for a Christian to criticize a fellow Christian, that is when you hear statements such as "who am I to judge?", "fake news" or they ALL keep silent. It worries me because it had been my observation for a very long time. Image is everything in Christianity. It doesn't how heinous the crime is, so long as it can be hidden it seems okay by all Christians. |
Is Christianity synonymous to lies and hypocrisy? N wonder the pastors/preachers interprete the bible in any form that suits their lustful hearts. I wish to ask if it is forbidden in the Christian doctrine to openly criticize or condemn the evil deeds of a fellow Christian. I have grown to seen the most objective people I respect so much become shamelessly hypocritical when they know a fellow Christian has done something wrong, at worst they keep mute. I observed with dismay how no one has condemned the act of killing simply because the victims were Muslims. I think impression is what matters most in Christianity. Christians care more about the public image of Christian than anything else that is why they would do everything to cover any evil deeds commuted by Christians rather than try to seek correction and preventing future reoccurrence. |
I have seen more good girls get married to great guys, it only makes news when a seemingly bad girls married a 'rich guy' and it seldom happens. There's more to it than what meets the ordinary eyes, being a bad girl, she won't find it too hard walking with her into a juju man's house and getting the man do her bidding, it's all part of being a bad girl. Lastly, she may go back to the waste bin she dumped her bad side and dust her 'bad girl' monkey jacket and wear it again if life goes rough for the rich dude, because they are hardly loyal in the first place, they are only loyal to cash and if it stops raining, they move and fast too. My suggestion is don't go into marriage with a bad girl, girls please continue to be good, it will always come back around to help in life. |
Igbos:Sarcasm is this case is misplaced and of bad taste. |
The approach to policing differ in different parts of Nigeria, I mean the behavior of police in the north is definitely different from their behavior in the southern part of the country especially in places such as Lagos and Port Harcourt, big cities. Having spent my childhood and young adult life in the north (Kaduna) and moved to Port Harcourt for work, I can't help but notice the marked difference in the manner the job of policing and security activities are being carried out. Yes Nigerian police are naturally not the most polished set of people anywhere in the country, I am forced to believe that they are more aggressive in places like Lagos and Port Harcourt (these places I can speak for) than anywhere I have known. We have all seen and heard about their notoriety in their treatment of the people they are employed to protect. Let's not be so quick in putting them down like outcast in the society, they say "a people get the kind of leaders they deserve" maybe, just maybe, they get the kind of police they also deserve, you would agree with me that these aforementioned towns are known to harbor some of the worst criminals the country can "boast" of, and the people are naturally more aggressive especially when it comes to money and everything that has a link to it, so the men of the security outfits would need to shed their "cool"sides and live up to cruelty of their enemies as they come. Some might say it is because they are more Hausas or northerners in the force, but when you look at the brutality cases, more often than not, you are likely to find a fellow southerner in the mix, as the perpetrator of the police brutality, besides majority of the said "SARS" men are of southern extraction. Lastly, living in Kaduna, a town that can boast of an overload of every security apparatus except for Navy, you would hardly hear anyone make ridiculous statements about police or military brutality, this I get to hear in places like Port Harcourt, where you would see grown, educated men sit down and discuss police/military brutality like they are discussing a block buster movie, making a hero out of the SARS men, army, air force, and telling wicked tales of how men in uniforms beat up their friends and neighbors and bus drivers with admiration as if there is a common agreement in the minds of the people that beating unarmed Nigerians is acceptable so long as you can do so while wearing the uniform, it is not out of place to hear "if army man slap you, you go know say police is your friend. Some will debate who is more brutal Army or Navy with the Navy given the advantage most times. With such agreement amongst the people, why won't these men in uniform try to outdo themselves in the art of brutalizing civilians they are supposed to protect? |
It appears I can no longer log into the DPR website, it came up with "Whoops, looks like something went wrong" and the "Fatal error Extension in EventServiceProvider.php line 8" anyone seen such yet? |
