They are good. but am comfortable with number 3. When give our lives the Christ, we are given everlasting life according to John 3:15-16. So we have ever lasting life which is a life that run for ever lasting. You are permanently in Christ. That doesn't give us the license to sin. If we are overcome by sin, we repent and pray for forgiveness and continue running In Christ. So once save is forever save

They believe in such idea as "Fake it tll you make it", ideas which have nothing to do with God?
We believe it because we are son of God, but you don't believe because you are son of the devil
Christianity Etc › Preach The Gospel If You Want The Power Of The Holy Ghost To Manifest In You by delkuf(op): 2:37am On Aug 16, 2020
Brethren, the Holy Spirit showed me from Luke 10:1-19 that for the power of the Holy Ghost manifest in our lives only through evangelism. In Luke 10:1 the Bible says the Lord Jesus Christ appointed another seventy people and send them two by two into every city and place where he will go. So the seventy went out and preached about the kingdom of God. In verse 17 when the seventy returned, they return with joy. And verse 19, the Lord Jesus Christ said he give on to them power the tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Note that it is when the seventy returned that the Lord Jesus Christ gave them power. He didn't give them the power of the Holy Ghost when they became born again or when they believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, it is when they went out to preach the gospel. You may have given your life to Christ. You may believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, but if you don't take evangelism as a life style, you will not have the power of the Holy Ghost. And it is with this power you can overcome your enemies. the Bible says and over all the power of the enemy. So the power you need to stay free from the devil is in going out to preach the gospel. Tell someone about Christ. You are not a Christian to just be save by yourself and your family, no, you are a Christian so that others can come to Christ through you. We need the power of the Holy Ghost in this end time. We this power to be able to match the hend of the devil. If not you yourself will become vulnerable because you will be fighting with your own power. And you know that you can't defeat the devil with your power. let people see you fervently pursuing for souls to come to Christ and God will be perfecting everything that concern you. And the devil will not steal from you because you have power over it. Happy hunting

Abeg, carry your nonsense logic pass me by!

I already started clearly what the rule remains as far as the things of God is concerned.

According to Jesus Christ, we are called to be Sons of God, not sons of Abraham. Why any sane individual will give up on the former to cling to the latter without solid evidence is beyond me.
Well is your life. have a nice time

Kobojunkie:
Wrong! Unless you are also going to say that everything Pharoah, and every unbeliever mentioned in the same Bible was also of God, I suggest you stop with the inane dribbling.
I suggest you get some sense. Apostle Paul said through Christ we are descendants of Abraham. If you don't believe this well written in the Bible, then I wonder you believe. Have you sit down to ask yourself why is it that everyone in nl don't believe in this your idea, that means is wrong. break out this bondage that the devil have put you in before it too late
Christianity Etc › Re: Walk With GOD While Still Alive by delkuf(m): 7:44pm On Aug 15, 2020
Kobojunkie:
Again... paul is not God. And Paul does not tell you that the words He spoke there are of God I.e. Paul did not declare He was delivering a message from God to us there.

The New Covenant is God's plan and anything that had direct impact on the plan or the promise associated will have to be announced by God Himself. This ain't rocket science, you know!
Yeah I know Paul is not God. The Bible is inspired by God, that include what Paul said was inspired by God.
Christianity Etc › Re: Walk With GOD While Still Alive by delkuf(m): 7:33pm On Aug 15, 2020
Kobojunkie:
What I am saying is God is the one who makes the rules everybody, including Paul follows. As far as our Salvation is concerned, there is no such thing as a private revelation of what God means of what is available to us all.

So where in the Bible does God tell us that indeed by accepting His New Covenant, we become Descendants of Abraham?
Who is talking about private revelation. I shared a scripture with you and you said since it is not the Lord Jesus Christ that wrote it, it is not relevant. It is relevant as long as it is in the Bible.

Christianity Etc › Re: Walk With GOD While Still Alive by delkuf(m): 5:54pm On Aug 15, 2020
Kobojunkie:
I think I have more than made myself sufficiently clear on what it is that is relevant.. The word out of the mouth of God is.
Since you suggest that the idea in question is a part of the New Covenant, then it makes absolute sense to expect that the one who gave us the New Covenant would not forget to include that important detail(assuming it is truth) in His word to us. After all Jesus Christ is the truth of God, so it makes sense to believe that everything He says and He alone says is the truth we should adopt.

So I ask you, where did Jesus Christ or God tell you that by adopting His New Covenant, we become Children of Abraham by adoption?
So it is only those things that the Lord Jesus Christ said that is relevant in the Bible.
Christianity Etc › Re: Walk With GOD While Still Alive by delkuf(m): 5:22pm On Aug 15, 2020
Kobojunkie:
I asked you where Jesus Christ Himself, the definition of the New Covenant, the Grace of God to us, includes the suggestion that we become of Abraham when we are saved. Or even where God Himself said that His New Covenant will make this so.

Any other account means nothing until it is validated against the word of God.
What are you saying. So because the Lord Jesus Christ didn't say it, is not relevant abi.

Is it not in the Bible. As long as it is written in the Bible, It is inspired by God and it make it relevant

By the way, I and still expecting you to show scriptural evidence of Jesus Christ or God declaring that by following Jesus Christ, we are made descendantsof Abraham. I am interested in learning where that teaching comes from.

I normally avoid responding to you because you are a disgusting irritant but I will do this just this one time and I wouldn't respond to you again.
You run around these boards jumping from thread to thread posting what you assume to be your own brand of sick christianity that only the voices in your head understand. You are a jobless busy body spewing your self formed mixture of christianity and atheism and passing it off as the gospel of Christ as contained in the bible.
You are neither a bat nor a mouse but a monstrosity and a danger to yourself as well as everybody who listens to the garbage you spew.
You jump all over the place nit picking quotes without even understanding the context in which such quotes were/are made.
You are a junkie that thrives on doing this time and time again to an extent that you become entangled in the labyrinth of mischief and totally lose focus of what is being debated or discussed in a thread.

I would not say you are demented but it is obvious you suffer from a complex that screams-ME!ME!!ME!!!

Back to the thread,I sincerely enjoyed this thread and my discussion with Pastorbk who was the OP of this thread back in April. It had a nice back and forth about it in a very civil tongue, that is until the uncouth meddle some interloper kobojunkie decided to jump into the picture in August without understanding what was being discussed.......

Why do we need a NT and we don't need the OT again? (God does not change)

God has been saving people before Christ came. So why do we need God to come and die again? (God does not change)

OT supports Judaism while NT supports Christianity! (God does not change)

Is Jesus a Judaist or a Christian? (God does not change)
Answer my question. Will you say because God that says he will bless those that obey him and curse those that dont, that God changed

I mean when they stop believing, as a result, refuse to come back.

When the Bible says if the righteous falls, he'll rise up again, it means if he falls short of Gods glory by mistake not premeditated, or backslided. he still has the chance to come back. Not someone who decided to stop believing. That is backsliding. Cos the moment you stop believing in God, you start placing your belief in other things and you know we can't serve to Masters.

I just felt like I should clear a few things about falling short of Gods Glory and backsliding.

Shalom.
I have backslided before, but by the grace of God I am serving Him today. I don't think that someone that genuinely believed God in the first place, can stop believing. I don't think so

Brachaa:
Bro jiggaz, @second set of people who stopped believing, how can you say they are still saved when salvation is by confession of the mouth and "believing " by heart? I kinda disagree a bit here. Cos if one stop believing in a course, will that course still have meaning in that persons life? I doubt.

Delkuf.
Good morning @brachaa, I believe according to John 3:16 that because of our believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, we have everlasting life. And like it meaning our walk with Jesus is for everlasting. It is unending. We may backslide, because of this life we would come back to Christ again. That is why the Bible says, the righteous man may fall seven times, seven times will stand on his feet again. So no matter what if a believer stop believing, as long he is genuinely save, he can still come back to Christ because he has an everlasting life with Christ.

What in the world? If your mind cannot handle that the book is written in human language and is to be comprehended the same way you would any other book written in human language, then fine. That is what I know to be my truth. The point is those who tell you there are special interpretations as far as human language is concerned are liars and decievers all.

That said, you asked me to quote the same verses in the King James Version for you to see if the commandments are the same. So, what is your verdict? Did the commandments change or something?
Do you want it to be written in arabic before you know that it is not the same as other book. It may be written in human language and by humans, but it is not the same as other books. My verdict is that the Lord Jesus Christ did not bring trouble. King James version said sword. I will not agree that the Lord Jesus Christ brings trouble to the world, no.
