Shouldn't they start the actual cleaning and restoration of the environment before embarking on this project?

The useless FRSC is still watching.
Why can't regulations be made on how containers should be secured to trucks to prevent such incidents?
Politics / Re: Boreholes: A Corps Member Vs Peter Obi by deloon(m): 9:23am On Apr 10
Isn't it very likely that PO wasn't aware of the design of the system?
He probably allocated funds for someone or persons to execute the project and this is what they came up with.
I'm still sure that the project was well appreciated by the residents. I hope they can continue to use and maintain it.

And Peter Obi's Borehole has a better structure and is safer than the other even though it can be way better.
Travel / Re: Foreign Carriers Engage In Price War To Frustrate Air Peace Out Of London by deloon(m): 7:50pm On Apr 07
helinues:

Do Air peace have that option of stopping over?

How many hours would the stop over take compared to N400k you would save?

Reason that as a business minded person

Time is money.
A lot of passengers would rather pay 400k to get to their destination in time instead of spending around 10 hours waiting at the airport for a connecting flight.

Airpeace doesn't need to stop over because it's a direct flight which is what anyone would prefer if they can afford it.

It's an open market

No one is frustrating anyone .

Air peace should have made proper consultation with other airlines before splashing the average airline ticket to UK.

Win win for the travellers as the airlines would drag themselves to the extent of free falling the price .

Modified: As usual, tribal coloration must be added to my comments. Air peace is our own, we all want it's success but they can't be doing things in a wrong way without calling them out.

First Air peace trip from Nigeria to UK, they had issue in both Nigeria and UK, can everybody be wrong? Perhaps, Air peace should have a proper consultant teams that would help them to put things in order before taking any steps..

We are yet to pack the oracle from the ground, it has already started predicting. Below is the price between Ethiopian airlines with Air peace, N400k difference

Did you see the difference in the flight durations?
Flights with shorter layovers or none at all are usually more expensive.
The price difference seems perfectly normal.

I feel like we are being set up for an embarrassment in the future. Something that will show just how irresponsible and thoughtless our leaders can be.
I wonder if/when the supposed road will be completed.

Was it the presidency or an agency that invited him because "Nigerian government" is a vague description.

Even with all these, Nigerian hackers will still break in your account and get the money, because our banking system is too poros and weak.
Best thing to do, after applying all the op recommend, is limit the amount you can transfer at a time with your bank app to the minimum, use your ATM for larger transfers and try not to lose your phone.

We actually have one of the most secured banking systems in the world.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why Do Some Nigeria Company Delay Salaries? by deloon(m): 10:43am On May 03, 2023
One of the reasons could be the ineptitude of the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
The Ministry is meant to enforce the labour laws and ensure that employees get their salaries and other benefits as at when due amongst other things. But unfortunately the Ministry is sleeping.

Clowning.
He is comfortably replacing characters in the bible and making fun out of it. If the tables were turned, we all know what happens.
I can't wait for this election to end so we stop giving attention to jokers.

He talks about not keeping promises. Who has failed in keeping their promises as much as Tinubu and APC?

Technology Market / Re: My Honest Review About Fibreone In 2022 by deloon(m): 7:20pm On Jan 25, 2023
My experience with Fibreone is already disappointing even though I am yet to start using their service.

I paid the installation fee of 75k on the 9th of December with an agreement that the installation process will be completed within 2 weeks and most definitely before the yuletide. This payment was made after they had conducted a survey in home area to ensure they had coverage.
Almost 3 weeks later, no installation and absolutely no communication which prompted me to go to their office for enquiries where they apologised and explained they had a little issue with their contractors. I asked for a refund and they explained that their CEO will have to sign before a refund can be issued and begged that I should be a bit more patient. We eventually came to an agreement that the installation will be completed by the 8th of January.
I was patient until 18th of January even though there was no communication or signs of ongoing works because I understand they have to lay a fibre optic cable. I went to their office and they asked that I give them a week which elapsed today being 25th. As at today I haven't observed any excavation or laying of cables to my home, and no one has called me regarding the installation or even to apologise for the delays.

I'll be going to their office tomorrow to demand for a refund because I am no longer interested in their service. If they can be this unreliable now, I wonder how they will handle issues encountered during my use of their service.

Plus I got to discover that the installation and subscription charges in Abuja is way higher than other locations.
One pays 75k for installation and 17.5k for the monthly subscription of the basic plan in Abuja whereas those in Lagos pay approx. 45k for installation and 12k monthly for the basic plan. Those in Lagos get 16mbps while Abuja residents get 10mbps for the same plan even though they pay higher. I find this to be ridiculous.

I understand that they can be quite reliable in service delivery based on some of the reviews I've seen but I just can't deal with the way they've handled things with me so far.
