Five days after Florida International University President hailed new bridge for enhancing students' safety, fatality strikes.

Multiple people have died as a result of a pedestrian bridge collapse at Florida International University in Miami..

Lt. Alejandro Camacho, the Florida Highway Patrol spokesman, said "five to six vehicles" were crushed underneath the bridge. A spokeswoman with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue told CNN there were multiple injuries.

The bridge was just installed Saturday. According to a fact sheet about the bridge on FIU's website, it cost $14.2 million to build and was funded as part of a $19.4 million grant from the US Department of Transportation.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott is being briefed on the incident by the Miami-Dade County Police Chief Juan Perez, according to a schedule released by his office.

But sis Can you elaborate how you made it with part time work? How long was your study program,when did you start working professional job after your studies? What kind of house and price range...owing a house after 2 years of coming to Canada ( assuming your re in Canada) and from your circumstances is something else. Surely you havent built enough credit history to support big move like buying a house, you are probably still in students visa..which makes it a hassle for banks to lend you a mortgage..and other interesting factors..
