huptin:
It took Iran 30 years to build all these huge network of proxies with billions of dollars, Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis.

It has taken Israel 1 year to dismantle everything. If Iran had invested that money in tech and education...today they will be reaping the dividends.

Vanity upon vanity, the preacher says All is vanity!
Most unfortunate indeed if true. It's always better to spend on development projects that impacts lives positively.

NASS members should consider reducing their allowances so we can have more funds for projects that impact on the people positively.

We should have EFCC in every LGA. That may not wipe out corruption totally but we'll improve on our systems and procedures.

The father and son combo are just being petty. They should just ignore Bobrisky
Some people won't allow others to drag their names in the mud. If Bobrisky is sure that they made demands, it's up to him to prove it.

However, Femi Falana is known as someone who does pro bono cases for the less privileged. He has assisted some ex-convicts to get pardon at no cost to them.

Bigger yams, my mom bought this for #7,000 a bit costly, though bigger than the previous one In the first picture
Yams have always been cheaper there truly. Also very nice and good for pounded yam.

That's village market....... From all of this towns above...... Mutum daya.... Garatu..... Paiko...... Maikunkele..... Njita..... Gwada... Or kuta..... Its very cheap in these locations
Reminds me of Shiroro and Yikpata (not sure of the spelling) market by the river close to Zumba. Plenty of fresh fish by the riverside. Wonderful experience!

Hope there's respite from the bandits invading Erena side. May God protect the people.

I've said it before, Nigerians, even here in Canada, rich, poor, are naturally wicked and have entitlement mentality.

Few days ago you treated Libyan players same way, now they're reciprocating the same energy and we're complaining.
That's not what happened. According to other reports, Libyans chose to land in PH and then arranged for a trip by road to Uyo contrary to their initial plans and the advice of NFF.

Here, when you go to where they sell live chicken.

You see people going round tables of people processing chicken asking to buy the entrails .

They rush it so they use it to cook.
Ha! That's scary. How healthy can that be? May God deliver us from this troubling times.
Career › Re: Why Are My Southern Brethren Resigning From The Federal Civil Service Jobs by delpee(f): 10:59am On Oct 15, 2024
@OP
Your concerns are well understood. Southerners end up being short-changed in terms of job opportunities truly. You can't help your people if you're not in the right position.

However, at the top, federal character is emphasised but it may not work out perfectly when the leader is from the North. They can choose to apply seniority status to suit their people who stayed back while southerners chose to japa.

I pray that more young Southerners will persevere to derive the benefits of rising to the top in public service. The main reason why they leave is the opportunities available for their children abroad. Nigeria will be great again. Amen

Congratulations to Covenant University, Bishop Oyedepo and Living Faith Church. They've been consistent in the first 10 list in Nigeria for years.
Now, Landmark University also owned by them is in the top league. Kudos to a focused and diligent team.

Hmmmmm. CBN and all these are happening under your watch. Let me just take it that they are mere allegations. But, it should be thoroughly investigated. When GTB had issues with Innoson, I said I was taking my money and investment from the bank, especially when I had Innoson won in court. But, for now I don't even know if the court process had ended. The only thing CBN knows is to increase rates, they will not come out to address this urgent matter.
I read through Innosons story and GTBs responses plus some of what transpired in court. I still feel comfortable leaving my small money grin in GTB. I think the case is still ongoing.

I believe that CBN being the regulator and their examiners will say something soon. Honestly, I see this as a campaign of calumny.

Those who understand the blessings that come with giving back a portion of earnings in God's service will not argue over anything.

Pray for the spirit of discernment as you read the Bible. Always comply as you're spirit led. No need to argue with Pastors.

If not for our failed and wicked politicians that destroyed our country, what are Nigerians doing in Lebanon?
I have been to almost all countries in the middle east.
Lebanon is one of the poorest country in the Middle East.
Millions of their citizens are scartted in other countries in search of their daily bread.
I hope the evacuation process is fast.
The Arab's have no mercy.
True that the people especially Christians are scattered all over. Beirut, Lebanon used to be a beautiful and peaceful place where people visited for holidays and shopping. It seems that Hezbollah has ruined the place.

Yet you ask her who she be...no be popularity be everything o. People wey really get things in their head no even get time to set ring light.

He should have stopped his analysis at playing the audio, not making insinuations that Femi Falana wanted to help disrupt justice or comment about Falz sexuality, especially when the recording isnt coming from the oarties directly...A smart person would have simply stopped his analysis with Bobrisky, who owned the audio...and wait for investogations to point to Falz and his father..Na the role of education be that.
That is the point. The onus is on VDM to prove his insinuated allegations which were not directly stated in the audio. He needs a short law course to practise properly as an activist and a blogger.

Truly Inspirational. Although, they still run the bank like we are still in 1940

Everything about is screams Old-fashioned

Great one from Chief Matthew. Pioneers are the biggest visionary people around. They bring the future to present
WEMA isn't old fashioned at all. Their ALAT transaction system is very efficient and modern.
Family › Re: Newlywed Man Calls Off Marriage Weeks After Traditional Ceremony Due To Genotype by delpee(f): 8:31pm On Sep 27, 2024
Kvarachi:
Hmm.... I don't know what to say but I'll still say something.
This may sound funny and bizarre at the same time. I'm over 40, but since I was born till now I haven't gone for any test be it for diseases, genotype, blood group or whatever. Infact, simply put I don't know my blood group or genotype. But since that over 40yrs, I have never been sick to warrant going to hospital, infact I haven't gone to hospital except for when my first son was born and occasional going to visit someone.
.
In all this, I'm fit, healthy and strong. I have 3 lovely kids that are fit with no health issues at all. My last child and only daughter is 15 and healthy just like her elder brothers.
So whenever I hear this talk of genotype or blood group I just shook my head.
Let me add here that the lady who gave me the 3 kids and now in Europe married with kids, also didn't know her genotype or blood group and we never care to ask before we procreate our beautiful kids.
Congratulations! The fact that you're lucky doesn't mean others will be. Checking one's genotype is a reasonable thing to do in this age.

We've lost 2 children in the extended family due to sickle cell complications. Another is sill alive and doing well thankfully but we've learnt hard lessons.

OALandAgents:
Fun fact no country that whites inhabit in great numbers bother testing genotype like we do in Naija.

Not even the so called AIDS-ridden SA.

Genotype is another scam being ran on on our psyche by white supremacist global system.
Sickle cell is most prevalent among blacks not whites. It's not a scam. Thankfully, there are better ways to manage it now including the changing of the blood or something like that. It's very expensive to treat. Both parents and the children go through a lot of trauma. In summary, prevention is better than cure.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Supports Independence For Palestinian People, Two State Solution by delpee(f): 9:39pm On Sep 26, 2024
It's the best solution but Palestinians have always rejected that option. I remember vividly when Yasser Arafat initially accepted in the Bill Clinton era and later back pedalled. It seems that all that they want is for Israel to disappear. I don't see how that will happen.

90% of people never want their helpers Dead .

If you know how people treat people in such level , maybe you will understand .
Experience shows that people don't necessarily appreciate your good deeds. The wise ones will, the greedy and envious ones won't. That's life as it is.

There are many examples of those who repaid goodness with evil. Just read through crime stories if you haven't experienced such around you.

It's worse these days judging by the stories online and the confessions of the culprits.

You're right about being good but don't assume that you'll be rewarded accordingly.
Politics › Re: Lagos Is Not ‘no Man’s Land’ – Oloja-elect, Abiola Kosoko Warns [VIDEO] by delpee(f): 3:47pm On Sep 24, 2024
HydraFeeds:
The Kosokos are descendants of Olofin . Olofin became the "first" settlers of Lagos . They're the aworis . The Olokun Semiade(real person) control all the islands(I think his descendants are the Mobas that use silver crown ) .Later on ,other Yoruba tribes migrated to Lagos to settle on uninhabited lands . Not to even mention of other cities that were added from Ogun State.

Only empty barrels make the most noise ,no matter the size of the land you buy ,there's still a revocation clause after 99 years .

No matter how nationalised a migrant is in Europe or America, they will still tag you with your origin .

Also,US and Europe are pro anti migration now which we can witness in the last UK riot because the "migrants" don't know their level .

There's a saying that if slave stay too long ,he will want to become king .
Most people don't understand the 99 years revocation clause. They think it's freehold land.
