Sack volunteer workers? Are they employed in the first place? It is voluntary work for God sake for which a token may be paid and it is usually for a specified period of time or specified project/programme. The work ends at the end of the specified period of time or completion of the project/programme they are engaged for. Volunteers are always engaged for a period of time and according to this thread post/news, they are part of the first set of volunteers.

Are we sure the terms of engagement is not 3 months? The government is at liberty to renew the contract otherwise the contract becomes terminated at the expiration of the contract period.

Let them tell us the terms of engagement for their volunteering job. Their case is just like empower, they employ to empower you for 2 years now that they are disengaging them, they make the government looks like devil.
