SportsOsaze Disses Victor Ikpeba On Twitter by delvinmaya(op): 9:53pm On Dec 26, 2012
Was on twitter just glancin through and I saw a tweet from Ikpeba directed @ Osaze, stating specifically that he would disgrace him. So I checked up on Osaze and these are the tweets I saw

This is the translation of what Osaze threw as a parting shot: Ты не принц, а скорее принцесса. Ты не тянешь. Так что, ДАВАЙ ДО СВИДАНИЯ ! "You're not a prince, but rather a princess. You do not
pull. So, let's GOODBYE!"

Foreign AffairsRe: When Is The BBC Going To Stop Rubbishing Nigeria ? by delvinmaya(m): 12:22am On Dec 08, 2012
If I am to understand what some nigerians are suggesting on this thread, are y'all saying that because we do it,someone should insult me or insinuate shit about me? I remember the proverb about mother hen and the eagle. You chase the eagle away first before you scold mother hen. That's what I believe is the African spirit. Now, its wrong to engage in fraud and all, but most people in Nigeria actually don't engage in fraud, so you (in this case the reporter) have to be mindful of what you say. Those giving credence to what he has said are not only unpatriotic but have lost all sense of belonging and hope towards this country. I shake my head and pray for you oooooooo. OP I support your actions and will make a formal complaint as well, for those saying he should change the channel, I see you all have the Nigerian syndrome of hoping that some day, God will come down and sort your problems out for you, you ve got a long wait. Nigerian and proud to be one till I die

mimiko is being more of an elder statesman, he insists on facts, and i agree with him, though we all know he is corrupt, but then the law says innocent, until proven guilty. On environmental matters, i would agree with Mimiko that now, no floods as this has been foreseen, but yes, Oke is right by claiming PDP started it, but Mimiko had the wisdom to continue
CultureThe Psyche Of A Below Average African by delvinmaya(op): 4:40pm On Oct 11, 2012
I have had course to bring up this conversation, cos all i have been seeing for quite sometime now has been undiluted hatred from other african countries towards Nigerians, in this aspect i mean their citizenry (and sometimes their govt.) and i am particularly appalled by the attitudes of Ghanians towards Nigerians, thus i decided to term this as the psyche of a below average african. Yes, we have our problems within the Nigerian society, compounded by the fact that we basically don't even like each other, and at every little opportunity we get, we debase ourselves, yet (the keyword here being yet) we have surpassed in all fields we have tried our hands in(both good and evil). So why the hate, when they also have problems within their society. South Africans, Ghanians, even Kenyans and some countries you would know exist take a jab at us. Again the question why? And the next question, should we be bothered. Please, i appeal to people, don't come here to start insulting Nigerians angry angry, you can insult other countries grin grin grin grin. And yes of course, God bless FRN(Naija 4 life)
PoliticsRe: Cameroonian Gendarmes Force Bakassi Indigenes To Leave Their Homeland by delvinmaya(m): 4:17pm On Oct 11, 2012
why do Ghanians always take it upon themselves to attempt to derail conversations in this forum? anytime we are discussing, a useless mosquito just drops into our midst and starts buzzing, trying to create attention for itself. no worry now, soon we go acquire baygon wey we go use deal with you and your kinds, yeye thingz. to better thingz, while we are castigating, why don't we endeavor not to insult either the president or ourselves, just present your opinion.

gboss4sure: I have read a 250 page ebook before but I can't even read this whole writeup.

Can someone summarise what the OP posted
mr President has presented the budget for the fiscal year 2013. hope that summarizes everything
PoliticsRe: Text Of Jonathan's 2013 Budget Speech by delvinmaya(m): 8:26pm On Oct 10, 2012
Forester45: Mr President would have told us the location of the houses and roads his govt constructed. The local governmnt autonomy issue was not even addressed to minimize state Governors looting competition. We are tired. This has become a routine. If i may advise, we are 150million Nigerians & our annual budget is running in 4.9+ trillions. Why cant we share dis money to individualshuh??
we could but that would be dumb, inflation would rise, and exactly how much do you think you would get? A particular road i know is the owo-benin road, all others i have heard of are the benin-ore, etc am not saying these ones have been completed but work there has reduced strain on drivers and their vehicles..
@igono2, seems like you are a slowpoke, why did you have to quote the whole post? I find it funny that no one has praised the insight of Mr president. education is receiving perhaps the highest amount within this budget, and all some could do is insult the president. If you can do better, why didn't you contest? I am pretty sure even councillor for your local government you no fit win, get a life
PoliticsRe: Awolowo's Daughter To Achebe: We Are Disappointed by delvinmaya(m): 10:24pm On Oct 07, 2012
As always, Nigerians will never cease to amaze me with their egocentric mindset. Most people here did not even witness the war, so why all these hate? You peoples dissing on Awolowo should get a life and stop blaming him for your apparent woes in Life. Lemme address those who are blaming him for the death of over two million lives, i just read in the review of this very book causing wahala that the lives lost were one million, though am not saying its right, but get your facts right, secondly, why bother fighting a war when you know you are not ready for it. The guys who flew the plane over Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not tried for war crimes, were they? And seriously, when will people forgo all this tribalistic tendencies? It pisses me off to even read things like what i have read here, annoying indeed. Achebe wrote, yes he did, and so what? he wrote bout a war that has seen most of the protagonists and antagonists dead, so bleeping what? Why kill yourself? Except of course you see it as a vindication on your part, thats when it shows you are daft. Japan, China, Germany have moved on to become great nations, siddon day look day cry over something dat happened before you were born. Silliness really, and then you play the blame game, keep blaming the yorubas oooo, while we continue progressing, while you keep crying
PoliticsRe: Achebe On Awolowo: Has He Gone Too Far? by delvinmaya(m):

Before you start screaming like fools, please do read Alexander madiebo's book "The Nigerian Revolution and the Biafran War". Atleast he would not lie, he was the second biafran army commander. When i get my hands on my dad's copy again, i will scan and put on this forum certain pages for y'all to read. But as for now, i will recount what i read, i do remember with disgust a part in which Alex wrote that Ojukwu gathered over a thousand youths and armed them with cutlasses to face the invading Nigerian army. Do you now want to blame Awolowo for this backward thinking?, oooo and if you have the time do read this write-ip http://www.dawodu.com/omoigui33.htm,. Even amongst themselves, the Biafrans were already accusing themselves of sabotage and killing themselves alreadym, so why would this 2 simple policies not work. There are accounts fraught with stories of corruption and other vices within the biafran society(seems like it is pervalent everywhere grin), so i do believe nobody should just openly criticize Awolowo for the failure of an ill conceived war.
This said, lets look at those screaming war crimes, if you really stop to think before talking, you will realise that war is worn by all means necessary, if you scream murder over starvation, what do you expect the Japanese(Hiroshima and Nagasaki) to do? Commit suicide, dudes, they were bombed with a nuclear weapon if you catch my drift. Thousands of people dead instantly, those who did not die immediately died from radiation. For a long time children who knew nothing about the war or the bomb still suffered from its effect, as they were born with defects, and yet they have moved on to become a great nation, while you are all still weeping and feeding yourselves and your future generations with vile. One bad thing about that is you are so per-occupied with feeding your vile, that you don't realize the world has left you behind. Its pathetic.
And those insulting we the yorubas, i laugh at your stupidity, you call us cowards, and yet the only significant battle you ever won was won for you by a yoruba man(Victor Banjo).
Enough on that for now unless you people are still going to dispute me on this, then i will show you why there is a saying about the wind and the anus of a fowl
PoliticsRe: BPE Announces Buyers For Power Plants by delvinmaya(m): 12:22am On Sep 26, 2012
triaophant: Very funny indeed,do we mean to say that after the billions of dollars spent by Nigeria to build those power Plants, we are now selling them for pittance just to accommodate some more crooks? God is watching, that God that delivered us from Abacha in his own way will deliver us again at the fullness of time, Amen.
bringing religion and God into this matter? If i were God, i would have given some people knocks on the head for always bringing me into matters that require only common sense but thank God, i am not him.
From what i have gleaned here, seems to me some people are just proud of making white noise, i mean how can you buy something for $300 million dollars and then pack up or let it run down? If thats how they made their money, that would be daftness of the highest order, but then those giving those silly excuses are probably letting us know why they probably don't own a company of their own, cos they would allow it to run down, i mean seriously do we or must we always have myopic thoughts like this?
PStylish: Mr Doubting Thomas,

What will you never doubt in your whole life?

Power business is good business.

All the buyers stand to make several times whatever they are currently making from their current businesses.

As inefficient as PHCN is currently, it keeps turning out profit in the order of billions into the coffers of the FG.

Now imagine what it will be like when it is efficiently run and at full capacity.

How can someone spend a fortune to a buy a power plant just to ground it.

Mind you, the FG is the playing the key role in the power business - transmission.

My guy, think.
broda, thanks for informing and enlightening them.
