Damn man, u really are the kid here. Has he said anything to warrant you talking like that. And how do you think? Or question should be; with what do you think? Ur ass? The report about the contracting of surveillance on the internet would definitely not have been allowed in most countries, basically cause of what it could cause. Unfortunately, a blind bat like you would ignore the fact that the statement accredited to the Israeli company clearly did not mention Nigeria, so speculations were brought as news to you, and you believed it. Damn man, ur brain is a free gift and u meant to think with it. If our press were not free, would they publish speculations as fact? And also, do you realise its an act of treason to forge your president's signature and then publish a false article with his signature, if not for their excesses not being monitored, would they have tried such else where?

U won't have recognized all. Cos I definitely didn't use the id card in camp. It was only when people asked what school I graduated from, that I would be forced to tell them or show them.

some months ago, customer care reps will always tell you the BBC package is 200MB. they even tell you that when you subscribe. but was it really 200MB? nope, it was unlimited. still is for me(can only speak for myself)

facts? really?
the only fact here is, it's still unlimited.
the screenshot below data downloaded with utorrent.
NOTE: the data count resets every time you start up your pc. the data displayed is for one session.

from what i see, not everyone was moved to the "new" limited plan. some of us still have that privilege of unlimited access. cheesy

My guy, na fact. Truth is they do say that. But can you argue with them if you are no longer connected. I had to load before I could even ping. One thing I can tell you with certainty is this. I def used more than 350MB, especially downloading and streaming on my N3. So they telling me its 350MB made me laugh. I could almost swear I had used more than 1.7 gb, but I realized something. Since I loaded this morning, ve been charged just #25, with all my pinging, facebooking, tweeting, and nairalanding, but once my account is red, bandwidth sef will red. Happy for you sha

OK. Your own is 350MB, mine is not. Are you ok now?

Mr techguy, or whatever you call yourself. Even with pd proxy and all, you still won't download up to 3GB with MTN BIS, and dats a fact for you. Been using MTN BIS for long now, and if you read my post at all, you would see the time frame. Within the last two weeks, that's what I said. And I am using it with my N3 here, not even with my BB, so I know what I am saying.

Pls don't mind those screaming its unlimited. Its a big farce. Subscribed BBC two weeks ago, and now I can only ping or browse when I have call credit on my line. Called the mofos at MTN and they told me I have exhausted my MB. They told me its now 350MB for BBCMONTHLY. So I called them just now, and its still 350mb for 1k, and 1gb for 1500k(dats d BISMONTHLY). The only way you can get unlimited is buy the unlimited sim

From the above post, it is safe to conclude the poster has written like a third grader who was fed with subliminal and feel-happy history of USA. USA’s so-called diversity is only real to a fool. USA is English nation and English culture and ways of life hold supreme.

Really? Am so ashamed. I didn't know. Like you said I have written like a third grader. That's why I refuse to banter words with you over the so called diversity. According to your logic then, its only the english culture that holds sway. I am so clapping for you sire. You amaze me. You truly do. You with your ivy college education.
Afam, yes its not about being from another country, but rather seeing if the culture of the place they reside has been adopted more or less by them. I agree with you on that. But does not change who they are. They would still identify themselves with their true nation. Just as Nigerians there will still claim Nigeria.

Dude, show some respect. Eziachi is one of the respectable members of this forum and his words are wisdom. If you don't agree with him then counter his arguments without throwing insults.

The diversity of the US is different from that of Nigeria. In Nigeria, there are ethnic groups who speak different languages and sub-ethnic groups who speak different dialects of different languages. In America, everyone speaks English and know no other language except for the immigrant. So, pls don't compare both countries.

If as you say he is respectable, then he should behave so, not act like he is doing. Your being respectable hinges on so many things. And if his words were wisdom, I don't see how they affect positively his argument so far. Also me asking him to get a life is not an insult but a call for him to face reality. And Afam, shows your little knowledge of the US. English is their lingua franca, but you have the red indians, the jews, the irish, the french, the hispanic community etc all citizens of the US. As it is, the land belongs to the red indians and yet they have been victimized most.

This is something Nigerians are unable to grasp, yet. The country itself was designed as a construct to further aid the transfer of resources to the head of the colony. It has nothing to do with the welfare of those being colonised. This is why the Delta cannot have a fair shake, even when its own son is on top. I have no problem with Nigeria, but we need to understand the basics before meaningless patriotism.
Yes, Yes, Yes, we keep hearing that story, over and over and it has become stale. This is not an issue of meaningless patriotism, but a question of morality and social justice. Bernard Shaw once wrote "It is said that every people has the Government it deserves". I want to add, we deserve the mess we are in cause we all caused it. We fix ourselves, we can then talk about breaking up whatever we want to break-up, and that's if we remember.

Seeing people shout that Nigeria will break up always makes me laugh. The only place I keep hearing that these days seem to be online. Bigots seem to run their mouths predicting break-ups, while some pray for it. I even see some make reference to a bad marriage or something not. Why don't you pray that your parents home or your own homes or marriages break-up? The only thing most of you know is come here to run your mouth. If we could survive a civil war, so many coups and dictators, so many tribal wars, Abiola's case, Jan 1st 2012, then why would we break-up now?
If you crave a break-up so much, why don't you start with your home? Rather than accept the truth, that almost everyone and everything in Nigeria has become mediocre, you call on God to come and break-up your country. I wish I could find a single word to aptly describe you(se) and your thinking.

You need not waste precious space by quoting me. If you read my analysis well, you will realise I'm into Fantasy series and movies not just any immature ones even a toddler can conceive. Have your heard of X Files Heroes?, Dresden Files Brimstone?, Reign of Fire?, The Vampire Assistant?, The Sorcerer's Apprentice? Harry Potter except for the last.

@Duvell

You're damn right, Game of Thrones are for those who spurious fantasy like Merlin, Legend of Thr Seekers, which are very many in Nigeria. They don't like historical based stuff just like they prefer whatever hopes or fantasy Nigeria throws at them than to know their original history as to know the only way forward. The only mark scored in my analysis is, it has a very beautiful theme start music which is the only thing I love about it.

@ obi1kebobi
Shey na award go yield profit to the producers of Spartacus, abi u tink say na only Spartacus Starz get? There is the new DaVinci Demons and others that have won and will win them awards. Mumu. Spartacus is a class of its own and I wish more like it will be made, something like Vlad - The Legend, let them do something on eastern Europe, rather than the new Vikings which I'm yet to embrace at episode 3 going.

@THOSE BASING THEIR ARGUMENT ON IMDB RATINGS:
Ofcourse any fantasy/magic film/series will sell more than other genre so far it can keep the minds of the unimaginative fired. But ask yourself what can an 18+ gain from fantasy/unreal magic, dragons, elves, scrolls, imps and dwarves. What does GoT or Merlin or Legend of the Seekers teaches us as black Africans? Nothing cos we needn't be reminded we got the real supernatural real magic here in this part of West Africa, (ofcourse I know it wasn't made for us), therefore I can never be amused by their usage of fiction as a medium to tell the world they too (whites/europeans) used to have a magical past, some whites would be shock to know the numbers of Nigerians yothw who believed Wiz Merlin and Arthur actually existed in England after watching Merlin. But in movies like Spartacus I among others learnt more about the Roman battle formations: auxiliary and phalanx tinz, those of you expressing indignation about their lasciviousness fail to realise that the series was trying to be realer than Rome in the sense that they wanted to depict every aspect of the then Romans i.e. from the orgies they were usually notorious for to their PAGANISM before they concoct fvcking Christianity. Also all you fvcking Christians should know the Romans defeated, conquered and enslaved the Jews in several wars, including their holy temples and city-Jerusalem which was destroyed by Titus, and Hadrian who burned their fvcking sacred scroll 'ceremoniously' and constructed a statue of himself and Jupiter in their fvcking temple, I wonder if their Jeovah couldn't help them, why would he help Nigerians? So note that it wasn't only Hitler who tried to annihilate these semitic vermins whose repackaged religions majority of Nigerians are crazily into while its unknowingly affecting them. "ke tu bo ma lo gbe egun elegun".

Bro, I really see you so into Spartacus, your language is filled with vulgarity. What we are saying is this, yes, spartacus is history, yes they are trying to depict what happened then, but in trying to depict, they left what they should do, and rather focused on getting ratings. GOT on the other hand does not deviate from the original story. The actions you hold so dear r crap I.e not believable
TV/Movies / Re: Game Of Thrones Vs Spartacus by delvinmaya(m): 11:00am On Apr 06, 2013
Reading some comments here will make one crack from the kind of thinking Nigerians have. I read someone here rating GOT, looked through the rating and realized something, if the dude really can think he would have realized GOT depicts the rot in Nigeria, you don't have to go far to find a good example of what GOT is talking about.
Spartacus, you all should realize is a true story, but the series built on the success of 300, whether you like it or not. Without the SFX n CGI, Spartacus would not have gone beyond the 1st Season. I mean, you pack a bunch of guys with six packs or eight and show them off naked. To make matters worse, the acting was crap. Yes, the dialogue there might seem epic, but seriously, the great quotes in this world are devoid of obscenities. Like I said about the acting, it was only Andy Whitfield, Peter Mensah, Lucy Lawless, John Hannah who actually interpreted their roles efficiently. Others had the help of the choreography, SFX to hide their inability to interpret their roles. Spartacus makes only for Entertainment and nothing else. That's just the plain truth.
GOT however breaks away from this norm. If you were quiet familiar with the movie industry or TV industry, you would understand the technique being used by the director. So far, he has tried to stay true to the books, and uses POV (point of view) a lot. Also, the actions within are believable. I watch spartacus and see heads being cut off in a single blow and I find that hard to believe (someone attacking you, moving towards you, and with a casual flip of your hand, you cut off his head?) or better still in season one when spartacus and his friend were chained together to fight, they used the chain to cut off the dude's head off, I mean the head just popped off like a bottle of wine, I mean, that was seriously stupid a thing to do, at that point, my willful suspension of disbelief no longer worked. It was totally absurd. But for those who still want to, Spartacus means the world to them. Back to GOT, all the actions were believable, and the acting and interpretation of roles were superb. I fell so much in love with Eddard Stark, and hated Cersei Lannister, yet I loved Tyrion Lannister. I loved Arya and yet hated Sansa. Now that's depth, that's when you call your thinking and task it. You try to predict and you fail. You realize from mistakes made, you can avoid pitfalls. GOT entertains and educates you, improves your analytical capacities, spartacus entertains you

There would have been a serious political backlash in the US with heads rolling if anything happens during this military exercise. All NK had 2 do was issue warnings, but now they ve given the US a very good excuse, in the eventuality anything happens. As a leader, you must not be weak, yes, yes, but in issues that concern the people, you have to be conservative, and take a point of view that will endear your people to you. If war eventually breaks out, rotund idiot will definitely get usurped, but this would be after the death of innocent millions. Politics / Re: Ezekwesili Replies Sanusi On $45bn Reserves by delvinmaya(m): 11:12pm On Mar 08, 2013
naijaguy77: This is Economic Illiteracy at the highest level. I used hold Madam Ezekwesili in high regard until this issue.

The foreign reserve is the foreign currency we get when we export our goods or services. Since we cannot spend dollars in Nigeria, we print the Naira equivalent of the dollar and spend i.e. If Mr Okoro exports cassava to USA, he earns $$s, he can't pay his farmers in $$s, nor can he buy other goods and services, so he takes his dollars to the bank (cbn), they print the naira equivalent and give to him, cbn collects the dollars and keeps in the Forex Reserve. 2 weeks later, Mr Okoro wants to import machinery for his business, he has naira but needs $$s, he takes his naira to cbn, who then exchange it and give him $$ equivalent taken from our Forex Reserve.

Anytime you pop champagne in a club, invite Kim Kardashian, or buy a car, you are contributing to the depletion of our Forex Reserve. Anytime you consume imported goods or services that have to ultimately be paid for using forex, you are contributing to the depletion of the Forex Reserve. It is that simple.

The Forex Reserve is not such a big deal, it is just a mechanism/tool used by the CBN for stabilising the local currency. So is it correct to accuse the FG of squandering the Forex Reserve? NO. Anyone who makes such an accusation is more or less an economic illiterate. The following can easily lead to the depletion of Forex Reserve:

1) Increase in consumption of Foreign Goods and Services. E.g. Cars, Food, Foreign Education, Machinery, Expatriate worker demand, or Kim Kadashian.

2) Decrease in value of export. E.g. Fall in oil prices.

3) Increase in the value of the Naira against the Forex Reserve currency.

4) A combination of some or all of the above.

The following points above mean that, NO matter how PRUDENT the FG is, the forex reserve can still be depleted by the lack of productivity of the economy, or the profligacy and foreign taste of the citizens. It is therefore very silly to accuse the FG of squandering the Forex Reserve.

Does FG also contribute to depletion of FR? YES, but nothing on the scale of other consumers in the economy. The FG would need forex just like other stakeholders in the economy, and their need, relatively speaking, is certainly not huge as the rest of the country combined. Ironically, it is the FG, through oil export earnings by NNPC and Oil companies, that is the largest contributor to the Forex Reserve.

Economic Illiteracy can make you look stupid, it certain has done so the Madam Ezekwesili.

Stay tuned for part 2 - Excess Crude Account (ECA)

I am Nigerian and i live in port harcourt, the power situation has vastly improved and it is improving. Most of the children on twitter are not or were not even eligible to vote when their parents voted GEJ yet they reign abuses on the man like he is the cause of all our problems. smh. with all these happening these days, i'm beginning to like GEJ cos of the way he's handling slanders from the media. No other past president was this democratic towards the media.
FACTS: 1. Most Nigerians who do GEJ bashing do not watch local news, so in there opinion, things are not changing
2. A lot of nigerians live in inappropriate locations bereft of the city plan and still expect power transmission to be smooth.
3. Most nigerians haven't even lead a small play group yet they insult people who make an attempt
4. A lot of nigerians tweak their power meters and try not to pay bills.
5. Nigerians mostly posit this 'holier than thou attitude.' Just before you call him an idiot/mumu/retard/ just look inward. The Leaders are the reflection of the majority of the people. Few lions cant preside over a multitude of goats (say 160 million) or vice versa.
6. Finally, the large majority of CLUELESS nigerians voted for GEJ after about a year of incompetence, and will still vote for him in 2015 when offered money. A TERM LASTS FOUR YEARS, SO LIVE WITH YOUR DECISION!!!!

We are the cause of our problems NOT GEJ

All u have said is true, bro, what brand do you drink?
Nigerians, putting all the blame on GEJ, but if anything that make us repugnant is the fact that we aid and contribute towards the rot we all scream against. When we have that father, mother, siblings or family members who are actively engaged in ruining nigeria. We are the worst hypocrite ever. Basically, i support him dubiously cos that way i can get his opponents put him under immense pressure to either man up or convoke a SNC for the inevitable dissolution of Nigeria.

Seems like you are the one deluded here. Why don't you attempt dissolving your father's house?

How is Nigeria not a mistake? Did GOD
create us as one? Have you forgotten the
name LORD LUGARD? Have you forgotten
this date 1914? Or have you forgotten this
word AMALGAMATION? How can you say
that Nigeria is not a mistake when we all
knew that injustice reigns supreme in
Nigeria? If Nigeria is not a mistake, why do
we have Arewa Consultative Forum,
Ohaneze, Afinifere, Boko Haram, MEND,
MASSOB, OPC? If Nigeria is not a mistake
why do we have federal character? Does USA
have federal character?
Please stop deceiving yourself. If Nigeria is
one, why won't Igbos rule? Nigeria is not
one and can never be. All efforts to prove
and pretend that we are one, is an effort for
to make a blind man see clearly that we are
not one.
DIVISION IS THE ANSWER. 1914
Amalgamation is the worst mistake ever in
the history of mankind.

Seriously? Like seriously? Is this dude high or just plain stupid? If Nigeria is a mistake, I assure you, his birth is a mistake, his very existence is a mistake.

mrjingles: I dont usually comment on politics but if Ladbrokes were taking bets on 2015 election they would pay out on a GEJ victory before 2015. BECAUSE:
Pple calling him retardeen are suddenly his fans because they hate "the north" more than him, talk about "regionalism".
Am not a fan of the "biggest party in africa" but fact is it remains the only party with effective presence in every ward of every LG of every state in Nigeria, beating them will be very very tough.
"The north" will produce a lousy candidate and Voters will opt for the devil they know. Only a TOTAL ABJECT failure by the incumbent and a really quality opponent can change a GEJ 2015 victory- but what are the odds? even "the north" doesnt like their best candidates.

Gbam. PDP remains the only party with a structure that has sustained them so far. In 1999, we had AD, n some oda parties, some have changed names. Odas have simply faded away. That is what structure does for you. Longevity

Ikwere fist son: D samd way western states re exportng ship loads of bank robers, agberos, stret urchins,nd jobles touts 2 odar states
This statement qualifies as the dumbest statement of this outgoing year. If he had thrown a jibe @ u, do you ve to do same? Why not play the maturity part here?
[quote author=Demdem]I don't blame Obi. If the FG headed by Ebele Retardeen Jonathan has been wisely spending the trillions of naira allocated to security, we won't find ourselves in this mess.
The army right now are involved in local security matters in each states and if these govs are encouraged to support the police (FG's responsibility) why should the army be an exception.
The FG isn't awake to its responsibility.
What is good for the police from the governors is also good for the soldiers. Unfortunate but true.

I can't argue with the logic behind your statement, but I find annoying is 1. You insulting the President. That is just plain wrong. Its the highest form of disrespect to Authority, and even the Bible is against such. 2. In implementing funds allocated to any govt institution, its not the president who implements, ever heard of delegation of duties. 3. Its wrong for the governor to donate such, but due to the society we are in,what would one expect. This is my take on this matter

Then it is safe to say that Osaze has been punked. Lol

Yea, but he has spilled so much, sounded like a superstitious kid to me. This is why we ought to be careful of what we say, and not be hasty in our actions, or in this case, our reaction.
