Politics / Re: Proof Buhari's/APC Fuel Subsidy Is A Scam Planned Months Ago To Decieve Us by delvinmaya(m): 7:59pm On May 12, 2016 |
@aboki or whatever you call yourself. Provide facts and evidence and stop with the blind support. I would have kept quiet but seeing you now state that oil was the only thing we exported is wrong. Go and get figures from the NEPC before you talk about what you don't know. And you trying to rubbish omonile for his write-up is downright silly. You are not his boss neither do you pay his bills so telling him how to live his life is uncalled for. If you are satisfied with the FG say so, don't come and start asserting yourself and your opinion on other people |

Politics / Re: Masquerade: Lai Mohammed Trending On Twitter After Statement by delvinmaya(m): 3:53pm On May 04, 2016 |
Some people just like defending what should not be defended. If Lai had stopped at saying tourism can be a major employment sector for the country, nobody will lash out at him. Yelling us dressing masquerades can provide jobs is plain stupid. Lemme give you reasons 1. These masquerades are believe to be our ancestors, therefore "without" proper information "initiation" into the circle of the elders, you can't just come and be dressing the masquerades. 2. Masquerades are a viable means of income in tourism no doubt. Having shirts made of masquerades or figurines etc is a way the youth can make money out of masquerades, dressing them however is a stupid idea. 3. Most people who dress these masquerades see it as fun, a hobby, an inheritance. 4. Most masquerades come out once in a year, some come out probably once in a lifetime. So if you want to support Lai Mohammed, atleast reason like a rational human and instead suggest ways "masquerades" can be a source of income not argue cos you wanna be a zombie. You guys supporting what Lai said should just admit he goofed by his words. So far, he has not done the FG good with his statement. |
Politics / Re: Kubwa Terminal Of Abuja-kaduna Rail Network (pix) by delvinmaya(m): 1:49pm On May 04, 2016 |
Orikinla: Educate yourself. Rail is in the exclusive list especially a rail line that's connectibg two states together. So I wonder how come you term it LG project. GEJ got this done to this level. The onus is now on the present administration to commission it and have it start working. At the end if the day, the masses benefit, that is the main issue 2 Likes |

Nigerians are now celebrating mediocrity. When Agagu was governor of Ondo State, virtually all road constructions were done at night and illuminated, yet nobody termed it progress. Even if he is building bridges or sky scrapers @ night, how does that mean development or progress? 1 Like 1 Share |

Politics / Re: States In Nigeria Owing Their Workers' Salary........(photos) by delvinmaya(m): 10:46pm On Apr 28, 2016 |
As always, some people will turn it into tribe related issues. Of course in this case we all know who started first. As usual chasing rats in the bush while their huts burn. Rather than face the fact that most governors are inept and all they do is embezzle, na to begin compare states. Continu wiv your sorry state na, after all, your life is based on comparison of innate things 4 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Agbakogba Wants Clarifications On China-nigeria Bilateral Agreement by delvinmaya(m): 11:02pm On Apr 22, 2016 |
For real the government has to come out and tell we the citizens what deal they made. Dealing a portion kf the news we heard and then keeping mum on the other portions is plain stupid sorry to say. So far the FG has denied currency swap, but what did they sign then? We really are getting to the point of no return. APC change has become "the more you look, the less you see". 2 Likes |

Politics / Fuel Scarcity, Corruption By Officials, Enough Is Enough by delvinmaya(m): 11:04pm On Apr 21, 2016 |
So I came by this thread https://www.nairaland.com/3061750/corrupt-dpr-officials-aiding-greedy this evening and I was depressed. We have been quiet all this while hoping and suffering. Yet corrupt government officials seem to be in the forefront of ensuring they make something out of this situation. Two weeks ago, I went to purchase fuel at SOT petrol station along lasu igando road. Dss officials came to force the fuel station to sell at the normal price (these criminals had been selling for #150). Went back the next day, and they had increased the price to #160. Impunity abound in this country and the government appear lacklustre towards this. Am proposing a solution to it. Let us start naming Stations on this thread and the amount they sell to the public. We will also state what time they sell (as most fuel stations now sell at irregular hours to avoid being caught). We will also ensure we forward this thread to all twitter handles of top government officials, relevant media houses. We will let them know we have had enough. Also, the twitter handle of DPR appears to be redundant, so we will not be sending the link to this thread there. Please if you encounter any DPR official in any fuel station, ensure you get him or her to identify himself so we can have a culprit. Thank you all 1 Like |
Webmasters / Re: What Do You Think About Nigeria Having An Association Controlling Blogging by delvinmaya(m): 9:13am On Apr 21, 2016 |
Having an association is just plain nonsense. From what I have learnt in Nigeria, associations are created with two main reasons in mind. 1. Patronage from Government 2. Dictating what can be posted online, dictating price etc. I don't subscribe to any association because of this reasons and of course their stupid act of enforcing everyone in the said section to join them. It's stupid and barbaric. And will create more problems. Like someone said, it's wrong with the whole copy and paste thing but it will slowly ebb away |

66xtr0r: Wonders never cease. Weary already of your dumb act, pretending to be an advocate for only God knows what. I will give you this reply and then subsequently ignore you. A hack like you has no right to attempt to smear me with your occupation. You only just registered this account today yet it's plain you are used to such, as you apparently have numerous accounts here. Now to your miserable existence, coming here to insult others appear to be how you deal with your conscience afterwards, with all you do all day being to incite hate, insult peeps and get paid while at it. So excuse me if I fail to take u serious. My brother, understand that slowly your sense ebbed away a long time ago and now all you have left are the vestiges of a bitter, angry, dumb fellow, a carcass of your former self. I beseech you to continually engage in your foul actions as no hope for a lost cause as yours. |

66xtr0r: Sighs!!! My brother this is why I mentioned your case as being hopeless. Apparently your case is lost. There is only a bigot here and we both know who that is. It's a pity in this instance how you dance around like the village mad man ranting just to hear the sound of your voice. Throwing insults of course is your first line of defense when you realize "your stupidity and foolishness" is too glaring. I call it stupidity and foolishness because I believe now that you are not just brainwashed, you were destined to be stupid forever. About the people who are spineless and do not stand for a just cause, pray do tell me what your just cause is and what you have ever stood for in your pathetic life. Now is the time to sit down, think well on your next line of action and how it would impact your life |

66xtr0r: My point exactly. Ever bitter. Funny thing is you don't know me neither do you know where am from yet in your delusional wisdom, you choose to behave exactly how you are, a delinquent who is afforded an opportunity and of course you misbehave. My dear young man, attacking me, my "region" is plain stupidity. Stop being a hack and get a life. A lot goes on in the real world, the stuffs that matters, your rant here online and your attacks on people you perceive enemies stays right here online and doesn't change the reality on ground. |

66xtr0r: I wish that were the case, fortunately no. You know how it is when you try hard to convince mindless hardheaded ISIS/Boko Haram bigots to see things differently. A hopeless cause you yourself would agree with me |

sucess001: Typical Nigerian mentality. So if I stand for what I term the truth now, I am part of his PR team. Hehehehehehe. If I were part of his team, my brother, I would have advised him to sue her for every penny she is worth, free money for him, not engage in mudslinging with her. Please quote the part of law that covers baseless rumours? I get it you are an upcoming blogger. Lemme advice you to steer away from copy and paste/ defamation of character, and build yourself a respectable blog. Like I said, Wizkid messed up exchanging words with her, but Linda is dead wrong stirring the hornets nest and crying when she is stung. Darn! (drops Mike) |

pchukwudi: Obviously you know little. The blogs I mentioned impact lives. Bella naija is an entertainment blog, but they avoid being vindictive, Writers in charge has been helping thousands make millions online writing, beegeagle has shaped the Nigerian Defense space massively. Any person who knows beegeagle will tell you that virtually all opinions aired there have been indoctrinated into the Nigerian military. As for Linda Ikeji with her 500k views, who e don Epp? Pchukwudi, it's my opinion yes, however what is wrong in Mandarin is also wrong in Latin and Yoruba as well. Carry malicious lies and content is wrong. I really wish she had been sued by everyone she wrote lies against. Probably then you would understand the enormity of her actions. Abi after reading whiz was evicted, how has it helped your life? Maybe the day she does same to you, you would understand the hurt people who she has written about feel. 10 Likes |

sucess001: Ever heard of junk journalism? Calling what Linda Ikeji does journalism is an insult to journalists the world over. Even Sahara Reporters are shamed by her. First you mentioned facts, Linda posted about Wizkid being chased outta his rented flat, how come? He wasn't even in Nigeria, she didn't interview the agent who chased him out, no court order, nothing to base her statement on except of course an unnamed source, that's even if she has. Now Wizkid messed up by threatening her but I do understand things from his point of view. Here is a lady whose main source of income is spreading false information, and she has never been punished for it. Simply because we live in a society that condones rumours and expect that the victim settles with his accuser in house. Which is wrong. About her being the source if inspiration for bloggers, my brother, you have to be specific. She's no source, she just the archetype of the wrong in the society. The young man who owns writers in charge, Bella naija, beegeagle blog, now those are blogs, not the nonsense Linda does. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Please could the Mod who moved this to the front page delete the thread! This news is stale. Happened in 2010 and as such will only cause embarrasment for the government of the day should ardent supporters think it's authentic. Meanwhile the OP should stop spreading false news Like the poster above me who is all joyous but yet fails to read earlier comments about the news being stale. Make una day read earlier comments now, at least one person go post true talk now. And the poster under me is another case of someone who needs to read and understand and stop playing dumb opposition. 3 Likes |

Politics / Re: The Lagos Calabar Rail Controversy: What everyone should know by delvinmaya(m): 5:39pm On Apr 12, 2016 |
Yawns. All I see is someone staring his opinion and people disagreeing with him, basing their disagreement on their perception that the OP is a PDP supporter. It's a shame that this is what we are reduced to, a people so intent and he'll bent on self destruction. So divided than ever, and so vindictive. I wonder if most peeps here are blind to reality on ground. Every single individual is affected by every decision taken by the FG, their actions and inactions paves the path the country takes. Any serious government avoids errors and in case of errors own up to their errors, they don't shift blame, they face up to their responsibilities. Unfortunately the present FG is going about things the wrong way. So what are the facts on ground? The first budget had the rail missing. Why? Did the government then go about having it put back in the right way? For the NASS, are the senators actually working or being ineffectual and getting paid for it? Who is to blame? Who takes responsibility and whose head will roll. I believe these should be our questions. Instead most are screaming wailers and zombies! Both zombie and wailer reside in the same country and are faced with the same issues, yet they refuse to reason together and demand their rights, demand justice, demand equity. Jeez!!! 1 Like 1 Share |
