ShowYourCertificate: I thought I counted 9. Okay let me list them here:
Dayo Famakinwa Ajeromi/Ifelodun 1
Olatunji Fatai Ajeromi/Ifelodun 2
Dipo Olorunrinu Amuwo Odofin 1
Hakeem Bello Amuwo Odofin 2
Mosunmola Sangodara-Rotimi Surulere 2
Shokunle Hakeem Oshodi/Isolo 1
Emeka Idimogu Oshodi/Isolo 2
Unnamed Ojo 1
Oh, sorry it's 8. Nevertheless, 8 members of opposition in the House is a welcomed development. It means APC has to sit up else they'll be booted out. Opposition is good for Lagos to move forward in a positive way. |

Gbawe: We dey laff in OBJ voice. With the guber results in today it is clear the divisive and highly self-serving Jonathan has managed to dismantle the PDP and destroy the Party totally from within. Perhaps those who say Jonathan was "sent by God" have a point after all. He was the C-In-C for all the wrong reasons. He out-sourced his duty and was permissive of all negative action taken under his administration. That was calamitous. He redefine himself as lacking capacity to lead and understanding to stand up for the people; the real people |

Katsumoto: You keep making reference to what cities look like. Does Atlanta 'look' like New York or does Los Angeles 'look' like Austin. Each city is allowed to have its own character. Without a doubt, immigrants have contributed to the growth of Lagos but to suggest that Lagos is 'successful' because of immigrants is mischievous. You folk, lazily refer to Lagos State as the former Capital but Lagos State was never the Capital.
What was provided in Lagos that wasn't provided in other states? Lagos had a major seaport before the Brits arrived.
Lagos provides an environment that enable people to get on in life. How many immigrants in Lagos arrived Lagos and were able to lease properties immediately let alone owning their own homes? There are many Nigerians who cant even visit their home states without fearing being kidnapped or bombed.
Lagos will survive without immigrants. He lacks the mental capacity for this discuss. It's symptomatic of their character. They just assume that all other society that exist, based on their parochial attitudes, must follow their defined boundaries |

Ikengawo: Fulanis are the 'host' in Ilorin. Why does anyone need to 'appreciate' you as a yoruba man. What have you done for any living human being. Someone who struggled to reach Lagos, build a business that services Lagos with his own hardwork needs to thank you because you came out of the stinking hole of a Y*ruba woman? What part of his or her success were you as a yoruba person? Someone will be thanking you everyday because the name you believe is your father came from Osun state.
90% of the yoruba people in LAgos aren't even from Lagos. Have they thanked their 'host'? What makes Lagos Yoruba? A Bini colony turned portuguese colony, turned british colony, turned capital. It's only in the past 12 years that yorubas have governed Lagos. Did you know that an Igbo man has governed Lagos before? No you didn't but you're more Lagosian than someone else because you're from a cave in Osun. You are a pained, maleficient and frustrated person. Furthermore, you are inconsequential to Nigeria existence and in essence, the Yoruba people |

barcanista: Whatever! I'm from Rivers state, and a proud Niger Deltan. My primary interest is that Wike win and APC is uprooted from my state. That I accomplished. My support for other PDP candidates outside Rivers is secondary. My comment on Imo election was based on the resullts earlier declared, but sadly they were fake. I congratulate Rochas but my joy is that Rivers and all SS except Edo are 100% pDP add that to the SE(Except Imo). If I'm to run tomorrow it will be under PdP, which is solid in my base. Politics is local.. You see where your problem lie. Nearly all HOA results in Edo won by APC. Anambra, Abia are both APGA now. You sleep, eat, walk, work. think, on mere conjectures. It's so pathetic when you lie to yourself, don't you think so |

Politics › Re: Predict Who Will Win The Gubernatorial Elections In Your State! by demandtruth: 4:37pm On Apr 09, 2015 |
Ambode will win Lagos
This is why:
PDP rely on only one set of electorate, the Igbos, who are not going to be so committed as they did during the presidential election. Both candidates are Yorubas
Secondly, PDP don't have enough to finance the logistic needed on that voting day.
Women will determine who wins the election on that day. PDP is far out of their bargain. They are more inclined to APC
PDP is not making connection with the voters. They are making noise. While APC were meeting with teachers and the rest that will vote.
Tinubu is a grassroot mobilizer. On that day, you'll see how "danfo" will move people from one place to another to vote. Money change hands
The Yorubas are seeing this as a direct challenge by Igbos on their domain not many Yoruba will vote for PDP.
Though, it may be close, t will end up
APC 57% PDP 43% |

The same pattern they, PDP, chose for the presidential election. Campaign using religion and ethinic division. They failed abysmally.
Why must everything about PDP campaign be on sentiment & emotion?
Why should Igbo be this emotional? No offence intended, though.
You are a people just like the Yoruba, Hausas and other ethnic grouping
The election shouldn't be about Igbo people but Lagosians. PDP are selling Igbos bad market full of evil intent.
It's obvious PDP will fail again this next Saturday. They are berate of ideas. |

barcanista: It is a shame that what we witnessed on Saturday was show of ethnic superiority going by the voting pattern. I commend the non igbos/SS that stood by Jonathan beyond ethnic sentiment. But I must point that it will amount to deceit if we think we are united as a people. I am glad I belong to Jonathan's camp though tribal affiliation wasn't my primary purpose. I commend my Igbo Cousins worldwide along with all those that didn't vote along ethnic line irrespective of who they vote for. Everyone to his conscience anyway.
To Asari, I say Senibor please cool down, the struggle for our emancipation as a people(ND and Igbos) has just began. We don't need to spill blood but can take through the diplomatic route. The most important is that our interests are protected as a people and region. We shouldn't take to open confrontration with any ethnic group. More than ever before, we shall remain to advance the course of the Niger Delta and Igbo Struggle in the most noble way available. God bless Niger Delta and the Igbo Nation. God bless All Nigerians.
