life is a system. Whatever you want in life, create the system for it. If you want riches, create a system of successful people around you and one day you will become rich.

Like me I cherish success so much and over the cause of years I built a system of successful people and successful activities around me and today it has paid off.

The same goes to good health and long life..if you want to enjoy good health, build a system of healthy living and healthy lifestyle.

Please can you further explain what you mean by building a system ,especially in your finances?.
I need help in that regard.

No woman just decides to stick to a man. There's always a reason why she's sticking to that particular man.
And directly or indirectly, she's benefiting from her 'sticking' with the man right now.

Now I can comment on this thread. I made my first 1million and 5million this year, infact last month self.

I'm currently a final year Mechanical Engineering student in UNN. With the Covid-19 lockdown I started doing alot of things. I got a remote part time job in UK that paid me £10.75/hr and I work 15hours a week. It was a 3months contract that ended on the 1st of December.

Also I and my coursemate recently won the Rockefeller Foundation and Acumen Academy Student Social Innovation Challenge last month and recieve a prize grant of $10,000 we use domicilary account to recieve the fund and sold it for 450niara at the black market

Thats it for me. The pandemic was a huge blessing.

Interesting. How did you get the remote part-time job?

Thanks for sharing in my joy.
Well I'm not into agege bread. I'm into premium bread, that's slice bread and other quality kinds of bread. As for the profit margin, it depends on lots of factors, like your recipe, staff strength, market value etc. On average, #100 per loaf, thats if you are producing and selling directly to the final consumers. Also remember your location can as well determine how much you sell your product. Lastly, bread business is all about numbers, ur turnover
Congratulations sir.
I hope you have processes in place to prevent or reduce to the barest minimum, any case of theft or pilfirage.

In the verification options, are there alternative to use utility bill or bank statement?

They accept all ids that identify with the Nigeria logo/emblem EXCEPT nin(which is clearly stated) on their blog/forum.

To best get clarity on whichever one you intend to use; Chat up their customer rep on Twitter or call them straight up.

CareerPorte:
Hello guys,

This thread is for Software developers, data analysts, data scientists, BI analysts, and programmers who are interested in securing remote jobs internationally.

In the next couple of days, I am going to be posting some remote jobs available in different parts of the world.

Did you know that as a Nigerian, you can get a remote job that pays as high as $5000 per month. This will be dependent on your skill level, experience and expertise.

Many companies in the US are hiring remote workers now and you too can get that opportunity you have always wanted in the Tech space.

I would need a couple of comments or like as an affirmation that you guys are ready. Then we will set the ball rolling.
Thank you so much for this!
This is one thing that I want to grow on, in the coming years (get a good remote foreign job to add to what I do locally)

What I currently do is freelance(fiverr)Data Entry, Business plan writing etc and do Bookkeeping, Inventory Management etc locally.

My field is in Accounting/Finance. It might not be core tech but every industry has the tech side of it.

For getting a decent foreign remote job, I think the highest paying jobs in my field are Account Executive, Financial Analyst, Project Management etc.
From my observation getting these jobs requires high level education (Msc, MBA) aside the soft and hard skills.
It's a challenge funding these programs at the moment.

If there's anyone in same industry that has a remote job, please kindly me with tips on steps to quickly move up the ladder in this field.
Thanks.

Which of these MBA specialization interests you? Let us know in the comments.
With a Bsc 2.2 and ICAN in view, what's the fastest way do you recommend to have a job and chase a career as a Finance Analyst, especially getting the job abroad as a remote worker?

After reading your story, I can only conclude you are a wise man. Great guy. But let me chip this in:

You made a mistake or some mistakes talking a girl to birth a baby for you. You actually don't need any consent. Pick a healthy girl you desire to give you a reasonable breed and make the pregnancy happen like a mistake in the course of several f ucking spree with her - Do NOT discuss it until she confirms she is pregnant, Go with her to the doctor to confirm the pregnancy and let her people know, you would take full responsibility of her and the baby as long as that kid is what links both of you. If the family insist on marriage, tell them No and stand your ground. No court will fault you as long as you already admitted to paying child support.

The worst that can ever come out of this is the family getting their daughter to terminate the pregnancy - But keep this in mind if that happens, A new girl turns 18 years old every day.

Exactly my thoughts bro.

Hardly will a Nigerian lady agree to have a child for you without commitment (marriage). Even if you want to pay her off. It's more like an insult to be direct about such demands.
It can only happen via unwanted (deliberate) pregnancy, and in such cases there are usually a lot of back and fort with plenty plenty drama.

From the story, the ladies were contemplating and try to force him to commit, because he's doing well for himself.
So they thought of persuading/luring him to commit using good s*x and other cards they tried to play grin cheesy zagadat....

To the brother that has the story; I commend you for not letting all your guards down totally. You understood the type of ladies you were rolling with and the female nature in general.

Best wishes.

My brother, getting clients directly by marketing yourself or your company is very difficult. People love to work with people they know. My clients came mainly through referrals and speaking to people who referred me to companies. I am into audit, tax and international development.
Oh professional colleague, we are in same industry but different niche.
I understand that audits are occasional, not regular like tax, bookkeeping & accounting service. Hence I want to go into bookkeeping, software installation and taxes that are regular and can get paying clients.
Currently I freelance and I do Inventory (stocktaking, inventory management)
I am suggesting if you can move into another niche to make up for the shortage of clients in your current niche, rather than go back to 9-5.

My client has concluded plan to exit 19 of his staff by December 31, 2020. He did the first retrenchment in August, laying off 22 of his staff.

After the December exit, he would have only 15 staff left, with 6 converted to consultancy position. Things are really hard and all his staff had been on 30% of their salaries. Even some of us that runs our show ourselves are struggling to sustain current clients talk more of getting new ones.

I have been thinking if going back to paid employment is an alternative as I left paid employment more than 6 years ago to establish myself but yet to surpass my former annual emolument as when I was in paid employment. The only advantage now is the freedom and ability to do things I want without hindrance.
If I may ask, can you get clients online (freelancing) or in another state/location with what you do?

You and sense na five and six. A smart comment.

I actually felt more fulfilled in non-western countries and I live in the west. The west is just for materialistic people. If you want money, career, and a sense of security, then yes, the west is for you. But if you want more to life, a crazy entrepreneur that values human relationship in addition to the money making, good weather devoid of winter darkness and cold folks, want to walk down the streets and see people filled with approachable demeanor and just having fun, then the west will hardly be that place.

Personally, my strategy was to build a business that will fund my lifestyle as an upper class anywhere I am on earth, and leave to explore new fertile ground where I'll have a feeling of contentment towards life, and not just a cash making machine, and I achieved that. South America is really nice, especially colombia, Panama and Brazil. If one have money, those places are heaven on earth.

Many of my friends moved there after college, and they wished they did they did that earlier. It is after when one has reached the pinnacle of their financial freedom, then they would want more to life, not just stability. Thats boring.
Please can you mention countries that's best suited in that regard? @ bolded

You get sense. This reminds me of a book by the world-renowned philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche titled ''Beyond good and evil''. Powerful men use the law to their favor, while weak men are subjected to it. What everyone should aspire to is to be a kind of iconoclast, a rebel, and a mad maverick in the face of restricting rules.

If anyone can read that book in one year and understand everything in it, I cut my cap off for you. You are one hell of a smart bad ass. I had to read that book for straight three years to understand in depth what Friedrich Nietzsche was writing.

Please can you recommend other books, especially books that most had an impact on you?
