PoliticsFayose Rubbishes Apc’s Audio Clips On Ekitielection 1 by Demichaels(op): 3:36pm On Feb 07, 2015
Ekiti State governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has
described the audio clip released by the All
Progressives Congress (APC), through its media
organ, SaharaReporters as fake, saying, he never
held any meeting with anyone to rig the June 21,
2014 election, suggesting that his voice and those
of others could have been faked using technology
like Natural Voices.
He said the audio clip was APC’s new calculated
attempt to discredit the election results, having
failed woefully both at the poll and the tribunal.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Idowu
Adelusi, said in a statement issued on Friday that
the APC would have used the audio clip as
evidence at the tribunal if it were genuine.
He said: “Nigerians should be reminded of how
the APC lied in 2007 that they recorded how the
governorship election was rigged even in the
palace of the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus
Adejugbe, but the party could not produce a
single photo as evidence at the tribunal because
their plans to do what is know as Morphing and
Syncing was exposed.
“Nigerians should also be reminded of the
existence of a technology called speech software,
which is good at reproducing the sounds, in
flections and intonations of a human voice.
“There are software that can re-create voices and
even bring the voices of long-dead notable
persons back to life.
Politics2015: Mbu To Lagosians - ‘i’m Battle Ready’ by Demichaels(op): 2:34pm On Feb 07, 2015
Lagos residents may have to brace up for more
surprises from the controversial Assistant
Inspector General (AIG) of police, Mbu Joseph
Mbu who heads the zone 2 command
headquarters of the force. He has threatened it
will be fire for fire in the coming elections.
“Nobody, no matter the position, will be above the
law, I will shame critics as we are not afraid of
any person, I repeat, anybody who attacks my
men violently, we will respond violently as we are
battle ready”, Mbu thundered at a lecture he held
for senior police officers at the Lagos police
command headquarters, Ikeja on Wednesday.
The warning from Mbu, who came into limelight
as a Commissioner of police in Rivers Statewith
his frequent clashes with the state governor, Hon.
Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi is coming on the heels
of his face-off with the Lekki Concession
Company, operators of the Lekki toll gates last
week.
The police chief had last week ordered the
detention of some LCC officials and policemen
attached to the company after his convoy of six
vehicles was asked to pay toll fees.
However, addressing senior officers of the Lagos
command on Wednesday, Mbu attempted to paint
the picture of a gentleman who cannot hurt a fly.
According to him: “You can see for yourself that I
am a simple man. Very friendly to be around with,
and humble. Anyone who is afraid of me must be
a lawbreaker. I can barely hurt a fly. Anyone who
had worked with me will understand that I hate
indiscipline and will not tolerate a dirty looking
policeman.
“For now I do not have another job and will only
do the right thing to protect my job. All I need is
police officers to know the power they carry and
utilize it properly according to the constitution.”
For him, the 2015 general elections provide an
opportunity for him to shame his critics. “We will
do our best. This is not the first time that I have
monitored elections and so far, it has been
peaceful in those areas and this will not be an
exception.
“We have enough vehicles, manpower from police
units such as Mobile Police Force, Special
Protection Unit, Rapid Response Squad and we
can even seek the assistance of the Army”, he
added.
He charged the senior police officers, including the
rank and file, to keep to the ethics of the
profession and desist from any act of corruption.
“I want to warn policemen against selling their
conscience because of money or personal
interest. Policemen should be prepared to do the
job and build confidence rather than pursuing
money, taking police job like a personal business”,
he said.
Mbu noted that his men should be prepared to
work hard for the success of the coming polls and
be ready to either be promoted, demoted or
shown the way out of the police force if found in
any act of dereliction of duty.
The new AIG said policemen should not allow
themselves to be used or intimidated by any
politician or political party, saying that he would
be ready to defend them when they are on the
right path.
He advised policemen who would be deployed to
polling centres to resist any form of violence,
ensure that they take pictures or video record of
perpetrators of violence and always update their
bosses with situation reports.
He warned policemen against injustice and
impartiality, adding that they have nothing to do
with election results or rigging.

PoliticsRe: Presidency Lists Grouse With February Polls Date by Demichaels: 8:21pm On Feb 06, 2015
Justbright:
The Presidency on Friday listed some of the reasons it feels that going ahead with the February dates for the general elections as scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission can “throw the country into turmoil and confusion.”

It however said President Goodluck Jonathan would not engage in any form of subterfuge to pressurise INEC to change the dates of the elections.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe, stated these in Abuja at a press conference called to clarify the outcome of the Council of State meeting held on Thursday.

Okupe said there was no time during the meeting held inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja, when the chairman of INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega, insisted on the February dates as quoted by some media reports.

He listed the level of preparedness of the electoral body and security situation in some parts of the country as some of the reasons why it will be wise to revisit the February dates.

On preparation, Okupe said in all INEC’s submissions at the meeting, the only process that was 100% concluded was the preparation and availability of the voters register.

He claimed that all other processes including provision, distribution and collection of PVCs, printing of ballot papers, distribution of verification machines and other non –sensitive materials, recruitment and training of ad hoc staff are all “work in progress.”

He added that Jega himself admitted that given a little more time, INEC would be in a better position to perfect the processes and its readiness for the elections.

He said, “Also in his presentations to the Council, the INEC Chairman, stated clearly that for the electoral process to be free, fair, and credible,  there are other matters which were not under the control of INEC, principal among which is the issue of provision and guarantee of security of lives and properties.

“The Security Chiefs were unanimous in their advice to the Council that it will be impossible for now for them to guarantee security of electoral materials, INEC Staff, and the voting population in the areas currently engulfed by the war against insurgency.”

Okupe said while some opinions were proffered that elections could be allowed to hold on February 14 in 32 states not affected by insurgency, Jonathan made it clear that he would not allow an election where some people will be excluded for no fault of theirs.

He quoted the President as further saying that endorsing such would tend to confirm the falsehood already being propagated in some parts of the country that he was encouraging the war in the North East to ensure that voters in the APC states were not allowed to vote in the 2015 elections.

He added, “For the avoidance of doubt, Nigerians are hereby re-assured that there has never been, and never shall be any plan to cancel the 2015 elections, for any reasons whatsoever. It will not happen, and the May 29th date for the swearing-in is sacrosanct. All talks about interim government arrangement is pure fiction.

“The consideration behind the possibility of change of date is to allow those who may be disfranchised from voting on the 14th February to have an opportunity to exercise their lawful rights to vote and participate in the general elections.

“The new wave of successes being recorded by the Military in the War against insurgency, especially with the arrival of new effective combatant equipment and machinery, plus the newly revamped cross border co-operation with Niger, Chad and Cameroonian Military, offer a very genuine hope that in a very short while, the situation in the affected states will be brought under such reasonable control that will guarantee safety of the electoral process and electorate in the war front region of the North–East at a no distant future.

“We repeat that the only set of people who stand to benefit from a shift in election dates are Nigerians who desire to vote and have not been able to collect their Permanent Voters Cards and other innocent citizens living in the war zone who may not be able to vote on the 14th February.

“We also wish to recollect that in 2003, 2007, and 2011 the elections were held in April, and the hand over date was not affected.

“We therefore challenge the opposition to tell Nigerians in clear terms, what dangers the change of date from February 14th portends to the electoral process or to the Nigerian electorate. It will also be good if the opposition tells us who stands to benefit or be disadvantaged from any shifting of date and how.”

Okupe, while saying that INEC was not fully ready for the elections, dared the commission to direct its Resident Electoral Commissioners to swear to an affidavit to prove their readiness for the polls.

“It will be very re-assuring if the INEC can get its RECs to attach their state of readiness to a sworn affidavit and show it to Nigerians.

“The interest of this government is to ensure that we do not have a rancorous and poorly conducted general elections that will throw the country into turmoil and confusion with the likelihood of an unnecessary internal and external rejection and condemnation,” he said.

Okupe claimed that in Sokoto State, nine local government areas are yet to receive PVC for the continuous voters registration, barely nine days to the election.

He also claimed that the majority of the 960,000 ad hoc staff needed by the commission are yet to be recruited and trained especially on the operations of card readers that are yet to be made available.

He added that Lagos State is yet to receive a balance of about 12,000 card readers for elections

This elections is not about you or President

"We can only do this by either re-electing Goodluck

Family28 Internet Acronyms Every Parent Should Know by Demichaels(op): 3:57pm On Feb 04, 2015
Story highlights
Acronyms are widely used across the Internet,
especially on social media and texting apps
Some acronyms can be a shorthand for sex,
drugs and alcohol
Experts say parents should be aware of
acronyms and talk to their children about them
Expert: "Asking kids not only gives you great
information, but it shows that you're paying
attention"

(CNN)— If you think you are tech savvy all
because you know what "LOL" means, let me test
your coolness.
Any idea what "IWSN" stands for in Internet
slang?
It's a declarative statement: I want sex now.
If it makes you feel any better, I had no clue, and
neither did a number of women I asked about it.
Acronyms are widely popular across the Internet,
especially on social media and texting apps,
because, in some cases, they offer a shorthand for
communication that is meant to be instant.

READ: Chances are, your teen has sexted
So "LMK" -- let me know -- and "WYCM" -- will
you call me? -- are innocent enough.
But the issue, especially for parents, is
understanding the slang that could signal some
dangerous teen behavior, such as "GNOC,'" which
means "get naked on camera."
And it certainly helps for a parent to know that
"PIR" means parent in room, which could mean
the teen wants to have a conversation about
things that his or her mom and dad might not
approve of.
Katie Greer is a national Internet safety expert
who has provided Internet and technology safety
training to schools, law enforcement agencies and
community organizations throughout the country
for more than seven years.
She says research shows that a majority of teens
believe that their parents are starting to keep
tabs on their online and social media lives.
"With that, acronyms can be used by kids to hide
certain parts of their conversations from attentive
parents," Greer said. "Acronyms used for this
purpose could potentially raise some red flags for
parents."
READ: 10 signs you might be addicted to your
smartphone
But parents would drive themselves crazy, she
said, if they tried to decode every text, email and
post they see their teen sending or receiving.
"I've seen some before and it's like 'The Da Vinci
Code,' where only the kids hold the true meanings
(and most of the time they're fairly innocuous),"
she said.
Still, if parents come across any acronyms they
believe could be problematic, they should talk
with their kids about them, said Greer.
But how, on earth, is a parent to keep up with all
these acronyms, especially since new ones are
being introduced every day?
"It's a lot to keep track of," Greer said. Parents
can always do a Google search if they stumble
upon an phrase they aren't familiar with, but the
other option is asking their children, since these
phrases can have different meanings for different
people.
"Asking kids not only gives you great information,
but it shows that you're paying attention and
sparks the conversation around their online
behaviors, which is imperative."
READ: Teen 'like' and FOMO anxiety
Micky Morrison, a mom of two in Islamorada,
Florida, says she finds Internet acronyms
"baffling, annoying and hilarious at the same
time."
She's none too pleased that acronyms like "LOL"
and "OMG" are being adopted into conversation,
and already told her 12-year-old son -- whom
she jokingly calls "deprived," since he does not
have a phone yet -- that acronym talk is not
allowed in her presence.
But the issue really came to a head when her son
and his adolescent friends got together and were
all "ignoring one another with noses in their
phones," said Morrison, founder of BabyWeightTV.
"I announced my invention of a new acronym:
'PYFPD.' Put your freaking phone down."
LOL!
But back to the serious issue at hand, below are
28 Internet acronyms, which I learned from Greer
and other parents I talked with, as well as from
sites such as NoSlang.com and NetLingo.com ,
and from Cool Mom Tech's 99 acronyms and
phrases that every parent should know.
After you read this list, you'll likely start looking
at your teen's texts in a whole new way.

3. NIFOC - Naked in front of computer

PoliticsCertificate Saga: Hausa Language Was Notoffered In 1961, Says Report by Demichaels(op): 9:36pm On Jan 26, 2015
Despite the release of the school certificate result
of the presidential candidate of the All
Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu
Buhari, the controversy over the released result
has not subsided.
A research report by an educationist and
Professor of Educational Foundations at the
University of Ilorin, A. A. Adeyinka, has punched
holes in the claims by Buhari that he sat for and
got a credit pass in Hausa Language from the
Provincial College (now Government College),
Katsina, in 1961.
Adeyinka, in the report titled: “Major Trends in
Curriculum Development in Nigeria”, said no
school in Nigeria offered subjects in local
languages at the time.
His research report had further chipped away the
credibility of the Statement of Result released by
the college to support Buhari’s claim that he sat
for the secondary school certificate examination in
1961.
According to Adeyinka’s research findings
available at www.unilorin.edu, prior to the
emergence of a centralised government of the
regime of General Yakubu Gowon from 1966 to
1975, all regions in Nigeria had different academic
curriculums.
He added that it was only the Western Region
that offered a local language as a subject in both
its curriculum and school certificate examinations.
The university don said it was after a central
government was formed and a universal
educational curriculum was developed and
adopted that other local languages were included
in school curriculums in 1974.
He listed subjects in the academic curriculum to
include English Language, Biology, Commerce,
Principles of Accounts, Health Science, Literature
in English, Bible Knowledge, History, Geography,
Yoruba, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
According to Adeyinka, Yoruba was included in
the academic curriculum following the
recommendations of a commission set up to
review the academic curriculum for schools in the
then Western region.
He wrote: “In the former Western region, for
example, both the Banjo Report (1961) and the
Taiwo Report (1968) recommended the revision of
the school syllabuses and the introduction of a
new structure of education.
“The Banjo report specifically recommended a
new model for secondary education, comprising
junior and senior secondary schools. The
curriculum of the former should be
comprehensive.
“Similar recommendations were made in the East
(Dike 1959, Ivan Ikoku, 1964).”
In the same vein, the Director Media, Goodluck
Jonathan Campaign Organisation, Mr. Femi Fani-
Kayode, claimed that he came across an e-mail
dated Thursday, January 22, 2015 from the
institution’s Archives Delivery Service Officer,
Jacky Emerson, to one Sodiq Alabi who requested
confirmation if the examination body offered
Hausa Language in the 1961 West African
Certificate Examination it organised.
Emerson, in his one-sentence reply, said:
“According to the Regulations for 1961, African
Language papers, including those for Hausa, were
not included for West African School Certificate.”
He had pointed out a number of inconsistencies in
the document at a press conference last Thursday
in Abuja.
Among other things, Fani-Kayode pointed out the
alteration on Mathematics, which he said Buhari
must have failed, adding that since that was the
case, he should not have been enlisted in the
military as a commissioned officer, having failed
to satisfy the requirement of pass at credit level
in Mathematics.
He said at best, Buhari should have been enlisted
as a non-commissioned officer.
He had also questioned the recent passport
photograph of Buhari on the statement of result
(which is not a certified true copy) purportedly
issued by the Ministry of Education, Katsina
State; the “1961” date at the top of the document
which conflicted with the “2015” date signed by
the Principal of Government College (Pilot)
Katsina, whose name was not stated in the
document.
Meanwhile, Fani-Kayode has also faulted reports
which claimed that the Minister of Defence, Gen.
Aliyu Gusau, said Buhari passed his Cambridge/
WASCE examination in 1961 and that they
attended Katsina College together.
Fani-Kayode, in a statement issued yesterday in
Abuja, said the report was part of the
opposition’s propaganda and desperate bid to
cover the wrongdoing of their presidential
candidate whose integrity they have so much
flaunted.
According to him, “It has been brought to our
attention that a number of online publications and
newspapers have published a false story
suggesting that General Aliyu Gusau, the Minister
of Defence, has defended General Buhari on the
certificate issue and has said that they attended
Katsina College together.
“This is pure falsehood and crass disinformation,
and it is indicative of the type of shameless
desperation and propaganda that the opposition
are now indulging in.
“Not only did General Gusau not attend any
school with General Buhari or go to Katsina
College but he has also never sought to defend or
absolve him in the on-going controversy about his
school certificate.
“We urge the Nigerian people to be very wary of
the antics of the opposition when it comes to this
and virtually all other matters; and we encourage
them to continue to insist that General Buhari
should stop clutching at straws and prove that he
is the man of integrity that he claims to be by
producing his school certificate.”
The Coalition of Concern Lawyers in Nigeria
(CCLN) the same day also picked holes in the All
Progressives Congress (APC) presidential
candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari’s certificate,
calling on the Inspector General of Police (IG) to
investigate and prosecute those found guilty of
perjury.
It equally called on the IG to investigate and
prosecute anybody found to have, forged the
Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs).
The group, which said it was not sponsored by
any individual or organisation, noted that its
hallmarks was credible, free and fair election
devoid of any criminality.
It frowned at diverse statements that greeted the
authenticity of the certificate, calling for a
thorough investigation of the saga.
Dr. Amaechi Nwaiwu (SAN), made the call at a
press briefing in Abuja.
Saying: “Nigerians have the right to ensure that
persons contesting to gorven them are qualified.
Where there is an allegation of forgery, the
Nigerian Police have the powers on a complaint
to investigate, interrogate and prosecute any
person found to have committed forgery of a
document or committed perjury.
“The Nigerian Police, under Section 214 of the
constitution and the Police Act, have the powers
and duty to investigate and prosecute such
offences.
“We call on the IG to investigate, interrogate and
prosecute any person upon a complaint found to
have committed perjury or forgery of school
certificate.”
Nwaiwu added that having relied on the school
certificate, it has to be produced and not only a
statement of result.
“We also call on the IG to investigate, interrogate
and prosecute upon complaints on persons found
to have forged the PVCs
“A fundamental aspect of our constitutional
democracy is to create electoral process with
credible voters’ register, right to vote and freedom
to vote.
“Freedom entails the voters’ right to have the
franchise recognised through registration and
possession of PVC to cast their vote freely, decide
how to vote and expect their ballot papers to be
counted accurately,” Nwaiwu added.

Most of these celebrities live very careless lives. They consume a lot of health complicating substances without a second thought. I was left in awe the first time I worked with Muna in a movie production I was a PA. This guy consumed more than 2 big bottles of LORDS DRY Gin, 3 packets of Cigarettes besides other alcoholic drinks per day for the seven days we camped. I was moved to ask him if he considers the health implications of those substances he simply laughed and told me that he doesn't care. And that he consumes even more than that when he wishes. I am not trying to be judge here but I simply want to advise that we should be very careful what we take in to avoid stories that touch. RIP TO THE DEAD

Christianity EtcSigns Your Church Has Been Secularized by Demichaels(op): 3:34pm On Jan 10, 2015
By Joseph Mattera

The Bible teaches that the church is supposed to influence the world as salt and light (Matt. 5:13-16), but instead the church has often been influenced by the world. Ezekiel 22:26 sends a stern rebuke to believers who make no distinction between that which is common and that which is holy (by common we mean worldly things and values) in this article the word secular refers to worldly rather than holy and set apart for God's purposes:

Truly any congregation that has no distinction from the world is close to extinction! The reason so many evangelical churches have grown so rapidly is not necessarily because of a true spiritual revival but because of cultural accommodation. The following are 10 signs your church has been secularized:

1) They preach only what is popular and avoid what is culturally controversial.

Often secularized pastors stay away from preaching on the standards of biblical morality so as to stay in the societal mainstream and avoid offending visitors. The result is a membership that only hears a partial gospel without the power to renew minds which leaves them as secular saints.

2) There is no standard for membership or those serving in ministry.

I have heard reports of many churches that allow anybody to become a member and or serve in ministry positions without being vetted; the result is people serving on worship teams or as small group leaders who are engaged in premarital sex, co-habitating or living a morally sub par Christian life.

3) Premarital sex and cohabitation between unmarried couples are normalized in the congregation.

When folks in the congregation have the same view as the world when it comes to sexual ethics, then that is a secularized congregation.

4) Most young people have normalized alternate forms of family and marriage.

When the youth of a church by and large adopt and or celebrate unbiblical views regarding family and marriage, then that congregation is secularized.

5) Secular music is played in church events.

I have heard of churches that incorporate secular music as a normal part of their church services or church related events. Although this is primarily done to attract more visitors by being more relevant, this practice waters down the distinction between the world and the church and makes them spiritually irrelevant!

6) Worldly dancing, drinking and getting drunk are acceptable.

There are some churches that have such a secular culture that it is normal for their members to go out clubbing, dancing and getting drunk! They espouse a loose lifestyle to avoid being tagged with the term "religious," but their practice makes them closer to living as pagans than true believers!

7) The church espouses the values of the surrounding culture more than the teaching of Scripture.

These churches are informed and internally calibrated towards the world; hence, they celebrate and honor the world's values more than God Himself! When the congregation desires to reflect the values of the world more than the Word of God, then they have been secularized.

cool The congregation espouses a culture of entertainment more than biblical discipleship.

When the primary objective of a congregation is to attract crowds on Sunday by giving them an "experience" rather than making committed disciples, then they have espoused a culture of entertainment and have been secularized.

9) The congregation espouses a culture of opulent greed and narcissism instead of sacrifice and giving.

If the preaching appeals to the narcissistic desire of using faith for personal affluence more than the biblical call to surrender and sacrifice all for the Lord, then that congregation has been secularized.

10) If Jesus is only presented as a personal Savior rather than Lord of all.

When folks only want Jesus to save them without transforming them, they have been secularized. When Jesus is continually presented in a church only as a personal Savior without the injunction for all people to surrender to His Lordship, then that congregation is focused on individual salvation more than on the glory of God. Secular humanism is all about centering life upon the needs and desires of autonomous humanity without any concern or submission to the Creator God.

PoliticsBuhari's Certificates Were Stolen During IBB Coup. -... Alhaji Lai Mohammed. by Demichaels(op): 5:50pm On Jan 06, 2015
**the General has no Secondary school certificate
to show to the INEC as requested.
The leadership of the All Progressive Congress
(APC) has reacted officially to the "Buhari
Certificate Scandal" for the first time after nearly a
week the issues was reported.
The spokesman for the party, Alhaji Lai Mohammed
(retd) has expressed regret in informing Nigerians
that Maj General Muhammadu Buhari has no
Secondary school certificate to show anyone as
required by the Nigerian law.
Alhaji Mohammed said that "Maj General
Muhammadu Buhari (retired) lost it while he was
in detention for over three years after the Gen
Ibrahim Babangid's coup.
The APC National publicity Secretary went to say
that while Buhari was in detention, his captors
raided his residence and vandalised his property
including certificates and diplomas.
"Consequently, after his release, whenever the
General is asked about his academic qualifications,
he would refer such bodies to the Military
Command (Military Board), who has his service
records including his academic certificates"

PoliticsDid Professor Osibanjo Lie On Channels TV While Clarifying Buhari's Statement? by Demichaels(op): 4:08pm On Jan 05, 2015
Breaking News!! Professor Osibanjo lies on
Channels TV while clarifying Buhari's "Dog and
Baboon Will Soak In Blood" statement.
Nigerians watched with great surprise today on
Channels TV as Professor Osibanjo the Vice
Presidential candidate of the APC made an
unforgivable blunder on channels tv during an
interview. He stated that one of Buhari's daughter
is married to an Igbo husband.
The propaganda formerly bandied by the APC
before the emergence of Buhari and Osibanjo as
bearers of the APC ticket was quickly debunked by
Buhari himself two weeks ago when some
Southeast PDP decided to investigate it. Sahara
Reporters, an online website which the military
recently accused of working for Boko Haram, also
confirmed that none of Buhari's daughter is
married to an Igbo man.
This latest lie from Osibanjo, a pastor and
professor, expected to clean the already soiled
image of General Buhari adds to the many
headaches of the APC campaign team as they
enter into the presidential election next month. As
a pastor, the party sent him out to clean up the
damaged profile of General Buhari who sources
claim does not possess any WAEC certificate
stipulated by the constitution for any aspiring
candidate.
The APC had hoped that the choice of Prof/Pastor
Osibanjo will help sanitize the unpopularity of the
APC presidential candidate among Christians,
minorities, and educated Nigerians in both the
North and South of the country but the PDP has
been quick to point to the man as a puppet of
Tinubu, who himself is becoming very unpopular in
the Southwest.
Nigerians have developed various caricature
photographs of the duo of Tinubu and Osibanjo
accusing the Pastor and Professor of signing an
undertaking for Bola Tinubu on exiting the position
after the general elections if their party become
successful for him Tinubu to take over. Also other
pictures depict the professor of law holding
Tinubu's phones and carrying his luggage as he
welcomes him from the airport.
PoliticsRe: Army Denies Being In Possesion Of Buhari's Original Academic Certificates by Demichaels(op): 8:21am On Jan 03, 2015
[Let the world know THE FACE OF A CHRONIC POWER DRUNK LIAR
PoliticsArmy Denies Being In Possesion Of Buhari's Original Academic Certificates by Demichaels(op): 8:15am On Jan 03, 2015
The Nigerian Army have discredit claims by
former Head of State and Presidential candidate
of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Major
General Muhammadu Buhari(rtd) that all his
academic credentials
were with the Military Board.
The Army stated that they do not keep the
certificates of any serving or retired officer or
soldier
Major General Muhammadu Buhari, rtd, few days
ago, in an affidavit submitted to the Independent
National Electoral Commission, INEC, explained
that he did not submit his academic credentials
for scrutiny by INEC because they were with the
Military Board.
Buhari is contesting the presidential election for
the fourth time under different political parties
including the defunct All Nigeria People's Party,
ANPP and the Congress for Progressive Change,
CPC, but, the issue of his qualifications had never
been controversial until the ruling Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, recently described him as
a "semi- literate."
However, against the backdrop of Buhari's
affidavit in court, a military source said "that the
Army can not keep anybody's original certificate
because it is the personal property of the owner,"
adding that such original certificates were only
needed at the point of entry into the service.
According to the source, the Military only kept
photocopies of credentials of officers and soldiers
in their personal files that were in the military
secretary's office.
"The original certificate of any officer or soldier is
only needed at the point of entry into the service
either as a cadet officer entering the Nigerian
Defence Academy, or the recruitment officers
when interviewing recruits to be sent to the depot
for training. That is so, because they are needed
to verify what were in the photocopies supplied
by them or from the necessary examining
bodies."
The source further stated that anybody claiming
that his original certificates were with the Military
Secretary (Army), had "ulterior motive(s) or
something he or she cannot explain."
He further added, "Let me tell you now, in the
Navy, the Navy Secretary, NAVSEC, keep the
documents of all Naval officers and ratings and
not their original certificates which are their
personal property.
