tintingz: Brotha, shebi this ones are muslim sisters by birth if I tell you about by mum ehn, you will give her salutation. I grew up in a polygamous home

My mum was an ex-anglican christian her father was an elder in church she got married to my dadd a muslim and she converted to Islam went for hajj read english Quran, she also was not expecting a second wife from my dadd thou I was still very young when my dadd married the second wife but she told us everything. She was not happy the first time my dadd discussed it with her but do you believe that she didn't fight nor went for divorce she accepted her but we don't live under same roof.

They are like sisters thou there we be some jealousy thing between them which is normal but have never seen my mum and my step mum fighting she didn't brainwash us to hate the second wife, the sweetest thing about her was that she was the one that raised/took care of the two sons of my step mum they both love my mum like kilode grin but now am missing her she's late and my step mum is the one taken care of us and I love her as a mother. smiley

I can't continue telling you more.

May Allah(swt) continue blessing her, she's indeed a true mother and a true muslimah who understand what Allah has revealed in Quran smiley
Not everyone can be like your mother. Try to understand that. It does not make them bad.

You miss the 'all' part.

Pig is not to be eaten. It does not mean that you can not benefit from pig at all. If for example, its skin is used for leather, wearing its products like belt or wrist watch would be ok.

In that case, pig is good for a reason but not all good.

When you say that fire is all good. Then being burnt by fire must be so good cheesy

Ayoobscom: I'm disappointed by some people struggling to convince/mislead people with a senseless notion of PIG FAT IS DIFFERENT FROM PIG MEAT here. I don't know why people carelessly get confused and try to deep others in the same mess.

When Qur'an Kareem says pig meat is forbidden for you, what else do you need to know, you want Qur'an to go on even the intestine, the liver and the fat are also forbidden...common grow up!

Pig meat is forbidden means the entire organs, cells, fiber, lubricants, bones, hair, blood that makes up the animal PIG IS FORBIDDEN.

If your mother insists and warn you not to touch her car again ,excuse me, would you go on to ask her if you could remove the tyres and form own bicycle?

But more like "The will of God prevails".
Yoruba can be quite ambiguous. I get it now. It is like saying, 'what God wants prevails'.

khattab02: lol..how do you know that your destiny?? You cannot dislike what Allaah and his Rasool sallallahu alaihi wa salam did mention and expressed! Allaah mentioned it and Rasool sallallahu alaihi wa salam demonstrated it. This shows there is wisdom and need for behind it. It just unfortunate the society we live in today have abused it some how and make it look repulsive to others.
You are not getting d point and I cant understand why I keep replying you. Allah allows it..I know but He did not say that I must be involved..He allowed us CHOICE.and I have chosen to not be involved..

If there is need for it and wisdom behind it, did Allah say that all of us must be involved for the wisdom to manifest? NO!

Some people like Zezzy already say they would not mind. If all of those people(who don't mind)'s husbands marry 4, it would already be enough for the benefit that Allah wants humanity to get from it.

It is not repulsive.I did not say that. I just don't get the feminine vibe that allows such in people. Even the wives of the prophet had their JEALOuSY fights..shey na me go com they claim holy pass. I no holy o. At all..let the holies do d holy polygyniesss.

My destiny is that I shall not like polygyny and shall not live in a polygamous setting..

Rukemi291: Deols. I am with you jare.
God punish any stupid girl that wants to reap from my sweat with my husband. Astagfurllahi sha.
Lol.

I can never be attracted to someone who is with somebody else. I can never be the second fiddle.

I can never fight over a man. It is just the way I am. When I like something and it suddenly becomes someone else's, I lose interest. It thus makes it hard for me to understand how some people agree to being the second wife.

I just never see myself in such situations. It shall not be my portion!! AmEN.
FamilyRe: How Is a man Continously arroused By His Wife After Years Of Marriage by deols(f): 1:33pm On Nov 03, 2013
Nothing wrong with the question..and some people get it wrong sef.

The example of Diezani is not it. That many people outside would want her does not mean that the same man whom she's married for long has the same feelings about her.
The emphasis is on the fact that the husband has constantly seen her and not on how she looks.

But the poster who used the rice/mother's cooking analogy got it right. If that is how it really is, good cool
FamilyRe: Am Confused, Should I Take Her Back Or Let Her Go? by deols(f): 1:14pm On Nov 03, 2013
There has to be something about that girl that the op thinks he is too lucky to have to let go of.

He might see himself as lucky to have the attention of such a girl that letting her go is a problem.

So, maybe, the op is just trying to have what he wants...and the girl is just being herself.

Her being untrustworthy could be the little price he has to pay.

gbenger1: Madam, i think you av serious comprehension problems.
Don't expect me to take up issues with you over interpretion of the rules.
'To avoid being banned, please ensure that your post is not offensive to any religion.'
He made a very silly comparison between two religions and i'm modest in every vain to state that. It's obvious that if that statement potrayed islam in bad light, u would go swift to hid it. I still see no insult, however u deem in refering to a post made by a human as silly.
I would only agree with you saying i used a curse word but you i wouldn't av got any attention witout stating the obvious.
I'av no regrets with that because it wasn't even directed at you until u obliged it.
Though, i see how u avoided the issues i raised but u are bent on proving my shortcomings right.
smiley
If you have a problem with a poster, the right thing to do is press on the report button so that a moderator can act on it.

Instead of that, you were abusing him(more than one rule broken ). And after that, cursed the moderator who hid the post.

You must think that you are smart by claiming you did not direct it at me. I was the only moderator on that day and even if it wasnt directed at me, my action towards it would be the same.

Like I said, even this privilege you have posting this should not be taken for granted.

I did the right thing. And there is no going back on that. Next time, make sure you don't go about cursing for that is the reason for your ban.
you cannot be a staunch supporter of Aisha and at the same time, say you're against polygamy.

that is a strong contradiction on your part.
When did I say that I am against it.

And what staunch support of Aisha have I shown?

Stop reading meanings that I did not imply. I have supported polygyny in some instances and I have said the concerns I have with those who practice it.

And here is the reference thread
https://www.nairaland.com/1499920/liz-anjorin-why-she-left
You would find my earlier post there too hidden.
You succeeded in wasting my time. After going through your posts, I saw the posts I hid.

The first one involved you calling someone silly..

I hid that..

And then you cursed me...

Were you expecting a pat on the back??

And the post you quoted is not offensive. He made a comparison which you may not like but he did not insult anyone or any religious symbol as he did that. You should in fact learn from that person how you can make posts or send your message across without insulting anyone.

Why are you against polygamy?

Are you pretending to be against it as a topic booster on nl?
Should Seun not just employ me as a thread booster already?

You can't even sift when I am totally serious from my keep the talk going posts again?

I am serious about this one o. Very passionate about it. But I really am not against the institution. I am only concerned about the social effects of it-like how much can the Father cater for the education of the children and the psychological effects, like how much love the children can siphon from a farther too busy chasing skirts and the mother too deeply involved in the household politics.

It is about me, my wants for myself and I will do everything possible to that effect.

People who are ok with practising polygamy can go ahead with it and I will chop wedding food if invited to even show that I don't detest it. grin

I banned you for cursing..I will do that again and again, given the chance to.

Now, having two monikers is against forum rules. But to allow you a fair hearing, I'll allow you to post on this thread ONLY.

And when the hearing is done, You may not post again until your ban expires.
