Markfemi2:
In moments like this
I expect Yoruba leadership to have reacted promptly
Why are tinubu and akande suddenly quiet ?
Are they not aware of what's going on ?
What about sourh west Governors apart from Fayose who has been very vocal why are the rest acting like all is normal when all isn't. ?
I saw a video of some niger delta militant with new weapons
Do Yorubas have the same thing ?
What about OPC?
if tinubu can't speak now why did he enter such alliance ?

Let's drop BIAFRAN issues for a bit and focus on impending issues facing Yoruba nation ?

Why is yemi being caged ?
Why are northerners not supporting yemi the way westerners supported Buhari ?
What is our reaction ?
If they want to
1) remove him with force
Nigerias soul is in niger delta and south west
We have the industries and ports
Niger delta has been quick to realise this and are not messed with
Why are Yorubas not realising if we shut down lagos Nigeria will bleed no food no commodity

If tinubu can't respond in moments like this or amosun maybe we should pass the Barton of leadership to Fayose and more courageous leaders

Also why have we not responded to arewa letter accusing of betraying them ?

Or are they doing something we don't know ?

Leadership inspires a people
Tinubu and Bisi's silence isn't inspiring Yorubas
Courage and Fayose the thoughtless, incompetent, no achievement, crooked and corrupt clowns should never be joined together. That clown should be in jail if not for the disastrous immunity rubbish.

@ Topic.

Slow down, let the clowns continue their clown show and keep showing their hands, we shouldn't respond or show our own cards.

They can not do anything to the acting president as long as the constitution remains intact, that's all that matters. No need to get agitated and fall into the same gutter with them.

This is not the time to get jumpy and start making rash decisions, we are not like them, we survey the battlefield, plan and strategize before responding to threats.

Nigeria is still intact simply because of the SW and the North are not blind to this fact, they know once the SW is done and ready to move on, Nigeria is toast and they can not do anything about it because they know we don't chest beat needlessly like our SE folks, we are serious thinkers and planners.

No, the acting president is ok and the constitution remains on his side, let them tamper with or misread the constitution and we'll take it from there, we just shouldn't be responding to childish tantrums.

How does this relate to the topic or you simply want to massage your ego on this thread? Create another thread for this discuss I will meet you there with facts and figures.
What you are peddling is irrelevant because we can do without you.

You've been beating your empty and shallow chests since 1909, always thinking you are indispensable and other people need you, but why not just go and leave and let us miss you and beg you to come back, just go away.

You said we need you and your exit means doom and gloom for us and I lectured you that we were once in the same situation without you and we did way-way better than you and without you and we'll do it all over again without you.

Industries, manufacturing, banking and finance, global trade and arts and entertainment made lagos, not fake spare parts, gala and fake CDs made Lagos.

Btw, you have no facts, petty trading is disposable commerce and others can step in to fill the void or just phase it out completely for modernization.

You people are so annoying for real.

Yes, you also need the FG to feed and bath you too? SMH.

Other states are doing their own thing and not waiting for the FG, but you can not do anything to save your own life unless uncle abi daddy FG do it for you.

You see why your region is so poor, no adults and leaders with vision and competence.lol.

jonathan refurbished Onitsha port, am not seeing any physical activity there, that means he didn't do it well, that also means it should not be left like that because the previous administration didn't do it well. it is for the economic well being of the south east, this can help help douse agitations
they should build one state in the south east for us, give us embassies or consular offices where we wouldn't always be going to lagos before going abroad (Europe and America) this massive movements generates revenue for lagos too. these are some of the reasons lagos has large IGR

afonjaheadhunt:
This write up is to address the blatant lie and outright misinformation by Yorubas and other ignorant Nigerians alike. Taking a cue from other successful non violent secessions in Africa and across the globe one would realize that most of the write ups come from ill informed people and is simply the wishful thinking of lazy youths and one Nigeria praise singers whom want to reap were they have not sowed and want to use fear to make the Igbo's submit to one Nigeria, while that is impossible let me take a minute or two to educate the illiterates and to think that one even claimed to be a lawyer yet ignorant to simple international laws that preceded national borders, national laws or local politics of hate. Looking at global standard practice from countries like Sudan, Ethiopia, USSR, EU, UK, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, etc, to numerous to mention. Why will the case of Nigeria be different except you want us all to agree that Nigeria is a Zoo like Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have always opined.

Now let me make it clear that as soon as Biafra is declared a nation both Nigeria and Biafra becomes two sovereign nations subject to international laws, which supersedes that of Nigeria or Biafra, we are subject to Ecowas laws, African Union laws and UN laws as guiding sovereignty of nations and citizens therein, Biafrans being west Africa nationals will be free to live and work within any part of Nigeria and west African countries with an Ecowas passport, many Biafrans will have dual citizenship status of both Nigeria and Biafra, Igbo money in the banks will also be safe in their current banks which will also operate in Biafra subject to Biafra Central bank laws, however it is advisable to use Diamond, Fidelity or UBA bank now. Nigeria could not touch Igbo's money during the war the only way they could achieve that was to change their currency from Nigeria Pound to Nigeria Naira and deny payment, but that will not work any more if Biafran becomes a sovereign country peacefully especially now that banking is digital and global.

As for our investment and saying countries do not tolerate petty trading in their countries, that will not affect Igbo's in Nigeria rather it will define Igbo's investment in Nigeria by properly stating our worth, values, tax, and our IGR contribution, already Igbo's markets in Lagos are worth well over 500,000.00 USD I am not even talking about the goods, I am talking about the value of property and markets built by Igbo's in Nigeria, markets like Alaba international, ASPANDA (Trade Fair) Oduade (Building materials markets) these markets were solely built by Igbo investors and would beat and mark or investment capital put by the government, take a market like ASPANDA for example it comes with it's own flyover to prevent traffic gridlocks for customers coming to the market, has several police post, Banks, fire station, eatries, a field, etc. Also take Alaba for example it is one of the largest electronic market in west Africa, same for Oduade, these markets have all beat the investment benchmark, The only Igbo market that would be affected would be the Ladipo Auto Market but as we all know the have requested to be given a site to build their own market, so they are equally up to the task.

On this note if Nigeria should find tricks outside the book to steal from Biafra and rob them off what is rightfully theirs they will not just be creating friction with other west African or African countries but the rest of the world and sending a negative message to investors and other multinationals, this also makes it very easy for Biafra to challenge Nigeria's decision in a competent court of law, owning properties in your country is not illegal and in a case of secession you are not meant to loose your properties simply because of ones quest for nationhood more over it is the citizen that are represented and not the nation to it is illegal to take from citizens to spite a nation rather should Nigeria want to take actions against Biafra those action be taken against Biafra directly not its citizens living on their soil indirectly, Nigeria can do this by giving bans on importation of goods made in Biafra, allowing access though it borders, but to carry any illegal action against legitimate Biafrans living in Nigeria legally with an Ecowas passport is a breach of the law in it own doing.

Yoruba must understand that Frustrating Igbo businessmen, real estate owners or investors in their region will not add to South west rather it will take away from them, Yoruba leaders know this and see Igbo's as investors and economic drivers and strive to provide an enabling environment for Igbo's to live and do business in SW it is unfortunate that Yoruba youths think otherwise and wish to claim Igbo properties in Lagos by hoping that Igbo's are displaced of their properties and financial earning. What these so called youth have failed to realize is the devastating effects and implications that it will have in the region and Igbo's would always continue in their trade if not in SW or Nigeria they will continue their trade in Biafra, west Africa and every other country that has an airport and a seaport.

In the event of Igbo abandoning their properties in Lagos, the real estate of Lagos will depreciate and many of the properties will be vacant and occupied by peasants, illiterates, artisans and beggars thus watering down the status and class of the city. The earnings of the state government through the sea ports, airport, Tenement tax etc will witness a massive plunge. However should it be extended to Igbo business men and investors then the effect will be far overbearing for the city as the city will become a mere town and a shadow of itself, a perfect example is during Christmas celebrations when many Igbo's in Lagos travel for the celebrations, some might want to argue that other Yorubas in other states will fill those opportunities left by the Igbo's, then the question is who fills those left by the Yorubas. Take the abandoned properties saga in Rivers state for example, many of the properties abandoned by the Igbo's were inhabited by fishermen, farmers, petty traders and artisans look at those properties today the have not been maintained and it did not better the lives of those who took them while the Igbo's have come back to buy many of them back and even built new ones.

Did I also mention that they are Igbo's owned companies, banks, Tele communication providers, businesses, factories, industries etc that are littered all over the SW and the federation do you realize how much will be lost in tax payment to these companies do you realize the level of unemployment that their exit will guarantee and the kind of dangers and insecurity that it will pose. The relevance of Igbo's to the economic stability and progress of the federation cannot be over emphasized in as much as it remains a sweet dream to own Igbo properties but in reality the dangers are far too impending to let it befall a city like Lagos that have survived on the generosity of the common wealth and diversity of Nigerians and especially Igbo's. Some might say indigenization policy, but ask yourselves where are the one you initially indigenized. So while it might be a beggars wish Yoruba leader will not let them ride its horse because as far as the are concerned Lagos has to attain its 2020 and 2050 goals but the bitter truth is depriving the Igbo's of the gains of Lagos is also hurting its goal, a clear case of cutting the nose to spite the face.

These assumptions are solely the wishes of the poor illiterate Yorubas especially the youths amongst them who are lazy wish to reap where they did not sow, so they pray that such evil befall the Igbo's so that they can reap what the Igbo's have sown but it should be noted that as long as the Igbo's secede legitimately without violence or warfare then these wishful thinking remains exactly what it is nothing but mere wishful thinking a mirage and fictitious expectations. I advice such Yorubas to stop wasting the youthful years of their lives waiting for Igbo's to loose their properties so they can own it and become landlords of homes that they do not know when the foundation was conceived. Igbo's will not loose their property in an event of a non-violent and successful disintegration of Nigeria and actualization of Biafra.

A question for those set of Yorubas, have you thought of the fact that if Biafra secedes other regions will seek to be free from Nigeria as well? in such case will these their wishful thinking also apply to other secessionists or will it just be for the Igbo's, if the later is the answers that goes to show that it is a clear case of hate, jealousy, animosity and wickedness for the Igbo's that have bore this thoughts and not the legitimacy of the rational behind it. Biafra or One Nigeria Igbo's will continue to live and do business in Nigeria legitimately without fear or favor as enemies of Ndigbo would wish.

Let me deflate your overbeaten and overblown chest.

Once upon a time, there was something called regionalism in Nigeria aka regional administration when all the 3-4 major regions in Nigeria were separate when each region managed their affairs and resources when each region developed at their own pace with their own resources.

This is when all the regions managed to show their competence, social and communal skills, economic and financial strength.

During this period, the SW was the most successful across the board in terms of social, infrastructural and economic development.

The government of the western region built all the industrial estates in Lagos state and they are still responsible for our main manufacturing and industrial output.

The western region built the first TV station in Africa.

The western region built the first modern stadia in Africa

The SW built the first skyscraper in Nigeria

The western region created Oodua group of companies with major companies that are still thriving till today from banks to malls, real estate, telecommunications, printing, hotels and so on

Now, do you mind listing what your region achieved during regionalism? Nothing, I mean nothing.

My point is, we know ourselves, we know our capacity and ability to achieve and conquer, we know we achieved so much when we were by ourselves without you or the North so exactly what do we need you for. We did it before and we did it again with the largest regional economy in Nigeria today..

We did it before, we are still doing it and we can do it with or without you so good riddance, your dirty spare parts rubbish is due for modernization anyway, so leave and let us clean it up with the introduction of modern auto spare parts shops like Autozone.

if river niger was in the north
would it not have been dredged for ships to come in?

I told u state govts don't have the powers to build sea ports under the law

its even too capital intensive
is it fashola that built the one in lagos?
I told u imo airport was built to international standard by the contributions of the locals , but the FG refuse refuse to approve it saying it should only remain local airport

remember that international embassies in lagos attracts population and investment too. lagos just have the advantage because it has been a federal capital before. so stop using achievements in lagos as a yardstick for other states. lagos was built by federal and state govts
katsina intl air port was built by the FG even though the state is younger than imo state which money was contributed by the locals to build or do u think this does not matter?

apart from lagos and ogun , that had the influence of the FG for their development tell me other yoruba states doing well (lagos was a former capital and ogun state is drawing from that proximity)
To start with Jona spent N34 billion (Plus corruption and embezzlement of course) dredging that river and he refurbished Onitsha port. Please do your research.

Saying states don't and can not building seaports means you know nothing about your own country.

Lagos state is building 2 seaports and corrupt and crooked akpabio tried to build ibaka seaport, but he stole all the funds he budgeted for the project.

If you are interested in or trying to build a seaport, approach the FG with your plans for approval, secure funds and investors and you are good to go, that's what they did in Lagos state, your states can do it too.

Lagos is trying to build a state airport in Lagos like other states are doing and have done, but you are here making excuses and spewing half truths, even making excuses for your own visionless and incompetent governors.

So, your hopes and future depend on the generosity of the FG?

They lack FG presence and infrastructures in many many states in Nigeria, but they are not complaining or making excuses, they are forging on, they are growing their economy, building seaports, airports, roads and bridges and so on, even their IGRs are larger than your own so who's at fault here? Your own governors obviously because everything you're lamenting over here, other states are doing it or have done it so stop making excuses.

You don't have any sea or ocean so you can not have any seaport. Face reality and move away from that.

You have your own international airport in the SE. Educate yourself about your own region.

Fashola built the best bridge in Nigeria in less than 3 years for N29 billion only, but your own governors were collecting taxes and allocations like Fashola so why can't they build 2nd NB, why are you still begging after 30 years of begging?

You know what, what's in Lagos or not can change your life or make your useless governors provide for you justify the money they collect on your behalf so you can cry till the end of times, nothing is going to change. Face your village and leave Lagos alone.

You want us to believe that you are the richest people in Nigeria, you are the smartest people in Nigeria, you are the most superior people in Nigeria and you own everything from Lagos to Abuja, but you still cry and moan like poor villagers and even cry marginalization every day.

So, what exactly do you people want us to believe? That you are the poorest and you need the FG to spoon feed you and do what your useless governors supposed to be doing.

Man states are building their own airport, but the so-called richest people in Nigeria and the owners of everything in Nigeria can not build ordinary small bridge and airport.

Even Aregbeshola that you people hate so much is building his own state airport even though it's behind schedule, at least he's building one.

What are your own governors doing? Nothing, they are fooling and brainwashing you by blaming their incompetence on other people outside their bothers.

Lagos state governors from Jakande to Tinubu, Fashola and now Ambode have commissioned many many times over whatever the unmaintained rubbish the FG left in Lagos many decades ago.

Sometimes I just wonder about you people and your backward manner or reasoning and existence.

remember gowon ruled nine yrs inside lagos, obasanjo, muritala, shagari etc, how then can u say seven yrs and u start abusing someone even though u are very wrong

those things that attract population like sea port, intl airport, railway, fly over every where, FG institutions must attract people which the east does not have ie national theatre, good road network : all these things attract investments, that part of the reason lagos is big
Let me educate you a little bit.

1. Lagos as the FC was confined to Lagos island for 7 years and not the mainland where all the industries that lured millions of Nigerians to Lagos state for work.

2. The industries were in the maniland, the SW region from Apapa to Ilupeju, Matori, Mushin and Ikeja industrial estates, all built by the government of the western region led by Awolowo.

3. Lagos was formally made a full state, including the mainland in 1967.

The FG built airports, seaports, federal institutions, and presence in other states including your own states so what's your point?

FG left Lagos decades ago so why is this still an excuse for your incompetent state governors inability to justify the taxes and allocations your incompetent governors collect on your behalf.

With all the rubbish you listed, Lagos's IGR was less than N500 million per month in 1999, but today, it's over N30 billion per month? Is this also because of the FG in Abuja or the good and competent governors in Lagos state?

Lagos have built many roads, many bridges, hospitals, power plants, water works, government institutions that whatever rubbish they put in Lagos state that they can not maintain.

Look here, you can fixate on Lagos all you want, Lagos is not yours and can never be yours and you can not even attach it to your silly biafra so why are you wasting your time?

Shouldn't you be asking your useless village governors what they are doing with your own taxes and allocations?

They can not impeach the president because the president satisfied the constitution by legally and constitutionally handing over to his vice while on medical leave and his vice is equipped with and backed by the constitution to act as the president of Nigeria till the president returns and able to take over.

There is no crisis here and the constitution is playing out the way it's supposed to.

The north can try all they want, but they can not impeach the president or prevent the VP from taking over as the president in case the current president doesn't return to office for any reason.

Any attempt to mess with the constitution or the VP = The beginning of the end of Nigeria and they know it so they won't try it.

When Fashola was the governor of Lagos state, he was able to set his vision in motion, call his own shot, secure funding from his own lawmakers from his own state with the same collective vision and goals to build the Lekki Ikoyi bridge which today is the best bridge in Nigeria, but same is not the case today regarding the 2nd NB because support, approval and funds must be secured from too many people from different states with different interests based on ethnicity, corruption and incompetence so the faith of that bridge remains in limbo.
The worthless lawmakers are I'm fact showing us why things haven't been working in Nigeria and why it's never going to work.

Yes, Fashola was able to achieve so much in Lagos State because he had vision and his own people and lawmakers backed his vision, but even the most competent person with the best vision can not achieve much at the national level because now you need funds from people who doesn't share your vision , people with their own interests, bigots and tribal elements with different agendas.

The 2nd NB is yet to see the light of the day because of the same game by the same players to block it forever, sadly, Fashola is the latest excuse to block it and deny funds as usual.

The biggest losers here are funny enough the same SE folks supporting the lawmakers.

This is why they say in people are self-destructive.

The very congent and pragmatic question to achieving an Odua state is: "What is the first step to be taken?"
The first step is and should be consultations across Yorubaland to introduce the idea to Yoruba people across the board, gauge their feelings and reactions, collect imputes and solicit advice, consents and make sure we all on the same page before taking the next step which shouldn't even be a formal declaration of intent.

The second step is planning. We should assemble a strong planning committee consisting of students/young members of the society, business leaders, traditional rulers, political and elected officials, technocrats, constitutional lawyers, and minds, or team to formulate a road map and way forward, steps to be taken till formal declaration of intent, governing, establishment of a federal capital, iron our details from communal access and integration, justice system, policing and law enforcements, economic/trade and cultural policies, economic zones from industrials to agriculture, development goals, budgets and allocations, leadership and governing criteria and policies and other issues necessary for a successful and smooth take off.

There must be concrete approval and consents from representatives and planning members from every corner of Yorubaland before going to the next phase or step. This must be done to prevent misunderstanding or disagreement later down the road.

The third step is the constitution which must be drafted with deep consultations, approval and imputes and strong approval across the board before final approval and consents by reps from every corner of Yorubaland.

Setting up a strong lobbying committee to fan across the globe to lobby relevant nations and world organizations for support and guidance.

The 4th step should be setting a date for formal notification locally and internationally.

What we should never do is what ibo people are doing and have been doing like making noise all over the place without planning, without sane and rational thoughts, lack of consultations within their own communities, aimless and clueless leadership unable to guide the hopes and desires of their people, abusing and insulting friends and allies, including other communities outside their borders without consultations and so on. This is why they are not taken seriously and we shouldn't start off the same way they did, we are too smart, knowledgeable and refined to go down that comedic, nonserious and laughable road.

Secession is serious business with serious local and global implications.

Lets assume these balderdash you wrote is entirely true and change remaining the only constant thing.

the present age said they want out and dont preach Igbo elites are against it. they were foolish to invest their entire life labour accross Nigeria. interest will becloud them....The ball has been set rolling and its irreversible. Osibanjo will be kicked out soon by coup or impeachment because North can't allow Yoruba rule them and that will mark the beginning of the end. keep this post for refernce

One thing I don't enjoy doing is going back and forth with ignorant and unintelligent internet trolls.

Some people will be better neighbours than living in same room with you.

I don't think Igbos hate us. They said they want to go but you refused.

A woman says he wants divorce but you locked the door and say no going out. You can't make love to that woman again. Though in same house but no peace. So Igbos are not the issue here but Nigeria that wants to eat their cake and have it.
This is you people's problem. History should always be your guide and compas, but you people have no sense of history, sane or rational logic.

Go back to the part your forefathers played when Nigeria was created. We didn't want Nigeria, but your forefather Zik wanted Nigeria and he teamed with hausa North to get Nigeria and the same hausa North rewarded him with a worthless and powerless President title.

Your other forefather decided to slaughter military and political leaders from other parts of Nigeria and you are still not repentant and they are not going to forgive and forget either.

Another forefather of yours called Ironsi created the United Nigeria you don't want today.

All the major regions including your region practiced regionalism, all the returns were separate and they all conducted their affairs, growth and development regionally without a powerful Central FG telling them what to do.

Your forefather Ironsi abolished regionalism with his Decree 34, the unification Decree.

Your forefather Ekwueme refused to look back and correct the mistakes of the past, but once again like Zik, he teamed up with the same hausa North and was rewarded with VP position next to Shagari.

Your forefathers created Nigeria and even made sure with their policies and decree that we remain United and unified.

Bottom line, your forefathers created Nigeria in the first place and your other forefather started the bloodshed in Nigeria.

You wanted Nigeria and a unified Nigeria so deal with it because this is what your forefathers wanted.

You reap what you sow.

OP, very well stated.

Sadly, the comedian running the show himself care less abut consequences same way Ojuwku didn't weigh or think about consequences hence the self inflicted pain and misery his people endured.

His followers also are not the brightest and intelligent portion of the larger SE society and they are single minded and illogical one way thinking crowd with almost no sense of sane and rational thinking.

The elders and adults in the general SE society like the elected local and national leaders are dangerously sitting on the fence like scared adults and cowards. They know and see the danger, but they've all abdicated their communal responsibilities to the unfortunate ring leaders whose only mode of engagement are unhelpful gutter language, insults and abuse.

Across the board, the whole society is walking in a daze while they are silently getting consumed by fire.

Btw, this is a well thought out and brilliant write up, you just have to ignore the, illiterate, ignorant and unintelligent ipob internet trolls because their only response to everything is the same idiotic ramblings.

1) According to Wikipedia, the British influence (NOT TINUBU'S INFLUENCE) in Lagos began on 6 August 1861 under the threat of force by Commander Beddingfield of HMS Prometheus who was accompanied by the Acting British Consul, William McCoskry .

2) According to Wikipedia, The High Commissioner / Governor was Sir Frederick John Dealtry Lugard, between 1914–1919 and in 1948–1954 the commissioner was Sir John Stuart Macpherson (NOT AWOLOWO OR ANY OTHER YORUBA MAN)

3) According to Wikipedia, Lagos became the capital of Nigeria since its amalgamation in 1914 moved to Abuja in 1991 (HOW MANY YEARS IS THAT).

4) Wikipedia explains that Lagos was governed directly by the Federal Government from 1960 through the Lagos City Council until the creation of Lagos State in 1967.

5) And finally, according to Wikipedia, oil was first discovered in Oloibiri, Bayelsa on Sunday 15 January 1956 by Shell Darcy. So between 1960 to 1967 when the Federal Government governed Lagos, the city was enjoying Bayelsa oil money.
1960 to 1967 = 7 years.

So, the FG that was confined to Lagos Island developed Lagos in less than 7 years?

Did the FG also crossed into the the SW region in the mainland and established the industrial estates responsible for Lagos's strong economy and still represent Nigerians industrial strength from Apapa to matori, ilupeju, mushin and ikeja industrial estates all in less than 7 years?

Did the FG also crossed into the SW starting from Lagos mainland to establish Oodua investment groups and built Airport hotel, Webaboard aka Wema Bank and so on or

saraki's smartness greatly surpasses his goodwill. though constitutionally there are provisions that could have been exploited like the Zamfara joker was trying to point out. I agree with you that he's ignorant and a clown and you should agree with me that someday in the perfect season saraki will strike
Strike where and how? Please brief us a little.

Saraki can not be the president or acting president without the current acting president handing over power to him by transmitting to the senate per his absence and inability to continue as the president or the acting president of Nigeria and until that is done, saraki can not be anything beyond his current position.

In this case, saraki did nothing and he did the acting president no favor and the acting president owe him nothing, all he did was prevent the ignorant and constitutionally void senator from zamfara from embarrassing himself and the senate including saraki himself.

The acting president's position or authority was never in danger and the law and the Nigerian constitution remains on the side of the acting president, not on saraki's side or his ignorant foot soldier so no favors was done.

Unusual loyalty by saraki... well played. now osinbajo, owes him a favour. in the game of life, it is very bad to owe someone a favour cos you'll keep praying he doesn't ask for the impossible.
meanwhile the zfara senator is just a religious fanatic who doesn't know how to play chess
Acting President Osinbajo doesn't owe him anything, Saraki was just doing his job based on the same constitution guiding his own job, not any kind of favor.

Saraki can not become the acting president unless the acting president legally or constitutionally surrendered power to him based on his inability to govern for health or personal reasons just like PMB did when he ceded over to his VP.

The zanfara joker is just another ignorant and illiterate clown, but Saraki is not, hence his decision not to even entertain such foolishness.

Leadership in Nigeria is like when you pour beans in water. Those that float up are the bad ones.

How can Senators talk as if they lack analytic, deductive and commonsensical reasoning? So, if a Governor travels out on an official assignment to attract investors, he's no longer the Governor?

The Senate should get their acts together and stop talking like a congregation of unintelligent drunkards.
Yes, if he or she abdicated and transferred power to his or her deputy to act in his absence same way the acting president is the president of Nigeria at the moment because the president legally and constitutionally handed over power to his Vice, the now acting president to be the president in his absence.

You can not have 2 governors or 2 president a the same time.

Saraki saw the landmine and quickly extinguished it before any kind of discussion or promotion of the silly idea.

....buy I do agree with you that the Nigerian senate is really a congregation of unintelligent drunkards.
