Yet he could not complete illubirin in Lagos
He built more housing estates than all the other states in Nigeria combined.

It is up to Ambode to continue and finish what he couldn't finish. Government is continum.

After being docked what has been proven against him? The dock is not conclusive proof of guilt and is no indictment at all.
It's an ongoing court process. He's not off the hook and in fact, he's getting more and more charges pilled on his head.

It's is only in lawless Nigeria indicted official stays in office because they are shameless and also because they enjoy the support of corruption loving people like you.

A big thank you to you!

A country deserves the type of senators it gets.A useless senator ignoring the constitution for a mere in-house rule undecided

The constitution is very clear,only the president can remove Magu as the acting EFCC boss/head:

D - The Public Service of the Federation

171. (1) Power to appoint persons to hold or act in the offices to which this section applies and to remove persons so appointed from any such office shall vest in the President.

(2) The offices to which this section applies are, namely -
(a) Secretary to the Government of the Federation;
(b) Head of the Civil Service of the Federation;
(c) Ambassador, High Commissioner or other Principal Representative of Nigeria abroad;
(d) Permanent Secretary in any Ministry or Head of any Extra-Ministerial Department of the Government of the Federation howsoever designated; and
(e) any office on the personal staff of the President.
(3) An appointment to the office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation shall not be made except from among Permanent Secretaries or equivalent rank in the civil service of the Federation or of a State.
(4) An appointment to the office of Ambassador, High Commissioner or other Principal Representative of Nigeria abroad shall not have effect unless the appointment is confirmed by the Senate.
(5) In exercising his powers of appointment under this section, the President shall have regard to the federal character of Nigeria and the need to promote national unity.
(6) Any appointment made pursuant to paragraphs (a) and (e) of subsection (2) of this section shall be at the pleasure of the President and shall cease when the President ceases to hold office;

Provided that where a person has been appointed from a public service of the Federation or a State, he shall be entitled to return to the public service of the Federation or of the State when the President ceases to hold office.

Magu is not indispensable,but we must rise against conspiracy and guide against future blackmail of seemingly hardworking,fearless and non-compromising public officers.
This is just like the ignorance they displayed when they threatened to sack the customs boss when in fact they can not do so constitutionally since only the president can sack his own appointees based on the separation of powers and the Nigerian constitution. All because of uniform that's not required or in the Nigerian constitution.

Just imagine a whole lawmaker confusing and comparing his silly senate rules with the Nigerian constitution.

Nigeria is not going anywhere with such corrupt and ignorant people in position of power.

[i]It's so sad that people can only react based on sentiments and not fact.
I happened to watch the confirmation process live on NTA and am not impressed with Magu, he couldn't defend himself or answer questions, yet some people still want him to head EFCC.
Even if we don't like the Nigeria Senate that's not enough reason to confirm Magu, we should rather question DSS report on Magu.
No matter your dislike for Nigeria Senate, Kindly ignore your sentiments and ask Mr. President to present another officer in the EFCC for confirmation.
Confirmation should be based on his record and performance in his present and former responsibilities and not on some bogus and already debunked DSS cooked up claims.

The prob;em here is not about Magu, it's about the corrupt people they call lawmakers in Nigeria working on behalf of other corrupt entities in Nigeria.

Also, we found out today that the Nigerian customs impounded an armored Range Rover imported by Saraki, the senate president with fake documentation.

We can not have corrupt people looking out for their own corrupt interests determine who should head our law enforcement agencies.

Completed or not there is this saying, by their fruit you will know them. The point i was making of which you did not understand me was, its time Nigeria start doing big things not 76 or 78 units of housing for the masses without supporting infrastructures.
And as for Fashola building the best housing estates in Nigeria, still the difference are clear. The problem we have in Nigeria is that mediocrity has became way of life and i wish you go back pull up the best estates that Fashola built and compare with the one in this picture you will see the difference.
The Massive Chinese-Built Ghost Town In The Middle Of Angola

http://www.businessinsider.com/chinese-built-ghost-town-kilamba-angola-2012-7?op=1
1. First you posted some completed bungalow buildings in Angola to compare with a yet to be completed bindings in Nigeria which made no logical sense, now you posted pics of housing complex built with Chinese loans.

2. Let me educate you about your Angola debacle.

The estates was built with $3.5 billion Chinese loans, but the apartments in the complex cost somewhere between $120,000 and $200,000 according to online advertisements cited by BBC. Other anecdotal reports put the price of 3-bedroom apartment at about $250,000.

None of which helps the average Angolan given the country's per capita GDP of $5,144 per year, according to the World Bank.

3. The Angola housing estates you are beating chest with are all empty simply because the average worker in Angola can not afford them so why build or waste money on empty buildings that your people can not afford while you are still saddled with the loans and interests payments instead of spending your resources on what your people can afford.?

It's walled waste, poor financial judgement and prudence.

Let him wear his uniform or resign.
Foolishness is you not knowing that it is the same democratic system of government in both countries and in fact, you copied the same democracy and system of government from America even though the ignorant people in Nigeria are practicing democracy upside down.

The head of customs in the US is a former military man just like the head of customs in Nigeria and they don't go around wearing any silly uniform.

The head of Nigerian customs is a political appointee and political appointees don't wear silly uniforms regardless what the agency wear or stand for.

The Nigerian senate can not do anything to him because he doesn't work for them, he was hired by the executive aka the president, he works at the pleasure of the president and not the Nigerian senate and there's something called separation of powers in the Nigerian and American constitution that you and the Nigerian senate should have read and inserted into your skulls.

So, the head of US Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection John Kelly should also wear uniform when he briefs the US congress just because he is the head of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection?
