They will once they confirm it. You can Google "condemn killing" maybe add sokoto or something Nigeria to streamline results. Condemn is normal thing. The point i make is that southerners killing them is a different scenario. They will unfortunately make reprisal attacks on innocent southerners up north.
The outrage should not be coming from people who have been killing southerners for ages. Northerners don't care if bandits wipe out a whole state, as long as it's Fulani bandits.

They'll probably make their usual comments condemning it and commanding troops to fish out those involved, it's usual. But don't confuse it with ethnic issues that can escalate into unfortunate reprisal attacks from anywhere. They are two different scenarios.
They won't condemn the killing. It's not the first time. They only condemn it if the armed forces bomb bandits hideout or it's some northerners are lynched in the south.
If bandits wiped out a whole village in zamfara today (it has happened severally), there won't be any outrage from anyone in the North. Their reprisal should be mostly against the bandits. That's why people are saying their lives are worthless over there, unless the killing happened in the south

Sokoto is about the poorest state in Nigeria. Here we have a sultan who likes to claim he's the eternal leader of the Muslims in the country. If shamelessness is a person, it'll be the sultan of sokoto. I mean, how can you be the supreme leader of a the poorest state in the country and still have the gut to demand respect. Omo!!!

1 dollar was equal 0.62 naira then.

So that was 8,870,967,741 dollars . 8.8 billion dollars.

8.8 billion dollars in today's rate will be 13.8 trillion naira.

If you go further to factor the inflation rate in USA. 8.8 billion dollars in 1976 is worth around 45 billion dollars in 2025. Which is 69 trillion naira.

So we can conclude that 1976 budget is higher than 2025 budget in purchasing power.
This budget in question is roughly the same amount as 2025 budget with far less mouths to feed.

Be reasonable. You want Nigeria to be an advanced country, but you want it to be growing at the rate the advanced countries are growing? How long do you think it will take the GDP of Nigeria to be $2.5 trillion at this rate?
Our growth rate averaged 21% between 1969-1971. If that's too far for you, it was 15% in 2002, I don't understand what's you're talking about. US and China are at the peak, so we can understand the reason for the minimal growth.
Nigeria with the human and natural resources at our disposal has what it takes to sustain a 2 digit growth for a decade. It's your headache if you're too blind to see it.

You can't terminate fuel subsidy and have a strong economy, for instance all the big countries US, China, Germany, Russia and the smaller countries have fuel subsidy. The subsidy in executive arms, Legislative and Judiciary is enough to finance fuel subsidy. Again why should a judge be paid 12 million monthly when minimum wage is 70k that's not normal, it can't happen in a sane clime
We can push for the total package of the highest office holder in Nigeria to not be more than a particular percentage relative to the minimum wage, say no more than 1000% (all benefits included), but then we can't continue paying for fuel subsidy. Just like this Hajj subsidy, it's an avenue for large scale corruption. Anything that attracts corrupt practices should be stopped in Nigeria.

This so-called “multinational cooperation” is nothing but a farce—another desperate attempt by the U.S. and its puppets to normalize Israel’s war crimes while the Palestinian people bleed. Qatar, which pretends to support Palestinians, now flies side by side with the very regime that has turned Gaza into rubble. The UAE, already fully sold to Western interests, continues its disgraceful betrayal of Arab unity.

No amount of military drills, no backroom deals, no illusions of “rapprochement” will erase the truth: Palestine will be free. History has proven that occupying forces always fall, and no empire—no matter how many jets it flies—can suppress a people’s will forever. The tide is turning. Oppressors will face justice, and Palestine will triumph.

A, policy that requires local producers to buy locally refined crude in dollars, which puts additional pressure on the naira. Is what you are defending and you believe you have sense ? if the goal is to increase forex inflow, then encouraging the export of finished goods rather than making local producers struggle with dollar-denominated purchases should be the focus.

This kind of policy is counterintuitive, especially when the country is trying to strengthen its local industries and reduce dependence on imports. Ideally, the government should be facilitating production, not making it harder for local manufacturers to compete. If NNPC is creating unnecessary roadblocks instead of supporting economic growth, then accountability and a more logical approach to policy-making are absolutely necessary.NNPC is making life even harder for the masses, yet you’re here talking about the weight of responsibility. If they are incapable of making policies with sincerity and competence, they should step down. This is pure nonsense.

For the record, I perform excellently in the responsibilities entrusted to me. And when I decide to take on public duties, I will do so with sincerity and deliver on my commitments. So stop defending nonsense, this people are only concerned about personal gains.
Too many words and less substance. You can't answer the simple question I asked. Are you going to be responsible for monitoring Dangote to ensure he sells all the crude oil he bought in Naira only in Nigeria?
We're not talking about the pressure on the Naira here, because I don't see how selling crude oil to Dangote in Naira equivalent necessitates the increments in price since it's still the same if bought in dollar.
The government is actually selling lower price in Naira and you're thinking it's the naira equivalent of the dollar price, where as, Dangote still sells from this product to outsiders at international price at the expense of the country.
A huge chunk of our daily production has been sold into the future already, playing friendly match with the balance is not working and will not work.

They should first parade those killers of Deborah,I meant those guys that were captured on Video that they were the one who kill and stone her to death…God Punish all of you
For your information, the killing of Deborah Samuel is justified in Islam according to one of their definitions of apostasy:
Apostasy in words, such as insulting Allah or the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
Now see what a supposed prophet says about the punishment for apostasy:
Whoever changes his religion, execute him.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 2794)
So to them, lynching Debby is justice served and coupled with the fact that Muslims place their quranic teachings above any law, they won't ever want those criminals tried in the court if they have the power to prevent it.
Always avoid anywhere you see islamists in large numbers.

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has called for a public parade of the suspects arrested in connection with the brutal killing of 16 Kano indigenes in Udene, Uromi Local Government Area of Edo State.

The governor also reiterated the need for full compensation to the families of the victims as part of justice for the heinous act.

Governor Yusuf made this demand on Monday when he received Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, who led a delegation to Kano to offer condolences over the tragic incident.

He insisted that the swift arrest of the perpetrators must be followed by a transparent process, including a public parade, to assure Nigerians that justice is being served.

He further commended Governor Okpebholo for engaging with Hausa community leaders in Edo State to prevent escalation and for committing to compensating the bereaved families.

Governor Yusuf also praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for directing security agencies to take immediate action and emphasized that such atrocities must never be repeated in any part of Nigeria.

Edo Governor Assures Swift Justice

Earlier, Governor Monday Okpebholo, while expressing deep sorrow over the killings, assured that his administration would ensure that justice is served swiftly and fairly.

The Kano State Government maintains its stance that justice must be fully implemented to restore confidence among citizens and prevent further incidents of ethnic violence in the country.

This mumu wants to parade suspects before trial? Isn't that madness? I've never seen anyone paraded or prosecuted for the numerous killings of southerners in any of those Kano or kaduna crises.

Lol, on the other hand it means Nigerians have had their purchasing power so destroyed they cannot even afford used cloths.
It's just like cars, many years ago Nigerians onely bought brand new cars, as they got poorer, the okumbo or Belgium fad stated. Next they could not afford toks so went into slightly accidented vehicles. Next came heavily accidented, soon they could not afford that and went for those from junk yards, scrapped. Those with even twisted chassis, which are then brought here and repaired. That is why 90% of toks cars you see are heavily repaired vehicles. Now as Tinubu has done his own, it has gotten so bad Nigerians cannot even afford the condemned, accidented cars, but are now buying Nigerian used cars. Omo that is the situation with secondhand cloths, Nigerians are so poor now they cannot afford okirika. Bend down select jeans is now 15k, 20k from 2-3k. Lol
Na you sabi if everyone in your village is now walking naked. Around here, most people now buy new clothes and patronize local designers.
