Jesus is not the first and only one that calls God His Father na. YHWH has always been a Father to His creations. God was referred to as a Father all through the old testament. The Jews and the Christians understands this basic things about God being our heavenly Father and don't have problems with it.
Jesus said "I and my Father are one" - John 10:30. His listeners understood that he was making himself equal to God, so much the Jews picked up stones to stone him.
He also said he existed before Abraham - John 8:58. Jesus made claims no other Prophets ever made and made it clear he's not just another messenger or prophet. He said he's one with God and claim to exist before time.
In all of this, you can either take Jesus as a liar, a mad man, or you believe him and follow him. There can't be a middle ground.
You can't claim to know Jesus when you don't even believe he is the son of God. Against everything the new and old testaments stands for, you believe God is not a father to anyone.
