gaby:Except you're spending the money in Benin Republic, it won't make any difference. At the end of the day, this is what the CBN will fall back to. |
thatigboman: ![]() |
thatigboman:SA is our wife. They're preferred. 😂 |
Shey na the Angola wey people dey hype be this? We go chop their father eyes today. |
PotatoSalad:What does this have to do with anything? |
I think the FG should close and ban all dom accounts, after conversion to naira at the official rate. And then implement a return to the previous PTA and BTA systems. |
SpiritedCheer:That's why you're not the coach. Some player's efforts are not easily noticed in football. |
God abeg, we need to double the lead as soon as possible. We have to make it to the semifinals. |
So Nairaland is not featuring our match on the front-page abi wetin? |
I was expecting this match to be tough, judging from the fact that Chelsea, Man U., Arsenal and Man. City always have erections whenever they meet Liverpool. |
Bobloco:Good. I see UK waking up already. They should start deporting some people already. You can not fail to condemn the unprovoked attack on Israel on October 7,and then turn around and accuse them of genocide for returning the favor in kind. Some idiots just want to appear woke for the sake of it. |
Sunday2021:Truly things are hard, but do you think borrowing to finance subsidy is the best thing for the country? If you're an economist, you'll know this shouldn't be a surprise. You heard about the mismanagement of our forex by the immediate past leadership of the CBN, oil marketers inflating oil import volumes while diverting a larger percentage of it for sale in other countries in higher price. At a time, the government is paying more a trillion naira on subsidy in a quarter and the product was still scarce. And government borrowed the money being used to finance the subsidy, while those that are supposed to enjoy the subsidy can only buy from the black market at double the official price. If you're not a marketer, you should not be complaining of subsidy removal because it doesn't favor you in anyway. You said the last 8 months have been worse than the last 8 years. So you want Tinubu to continue in the habit of borrowing to pay subsidy and to give our currency a fake value? Or haven't you checked our debt profile for the 8 years of Buhari's disastrous regime? This is the true situation of the country right now. Let's not deceive ourselves, we are not productive as a nation and we are hugely dependent on others countries for our basic needs. Or why do you think dollar is affecting our local price even though we don't spend dollar here? A wise man once said "a nation that can not feed herself will always remain subservient to others". That's Nigeria for you. |
Wallade:Nothing concerns NYSC with the year your school decides to mobilize you. They're only interested in the age you filled in your JAMB and date of graduation. Check the age you filled for JAMB and the exact date of your graduation (for my Alma mater, graduation date is always written on the certificate) and judge it yourself. Some schools that have backlogs of students to mobilize always have the problem of mobilizing some students after one or two years after graduation. They're still qualified to serve based on their graduation date, not the year they were mobilized. I was mobilized two months after graduation. But I had to differ to travel after the 3 weeks camp. Foreign trained guys who turned in for NYSC years after graduation are eligible. The key determinant is the age at graduation, not the current age. |
Botragelad:UK and in fact, European countries have brought in ant-infested firewood. It shouldn't be a surprise lizards are paying them visits. They should deal with it decisively now or live to regret it. |
Wallade:Emphasis on when they filed your documents. Your graduation date is what NYSC will use to determine your age. That's the difference. |
Sunday2021:If you're from the NC, then speak for your state alone. I've not seen any groups from the NC lamenting about this office movement stuff. You're talking about the killings on the Plateau. If you're not in your teen or early 20s, you'd know that didn't start last year, but of course, it's easier to blame Tinubu and absolve 4 Presidents before him. I support his removal of fuel subsidy, and yes, if you want a quality education, you have to pay for it. Education is not cheap anywhere in the world, go figure. You can want functional refineries and still want the government to be subsiding the product for you. It doesn't work that way. You'll spend an average of $100k to get trained as a commercial pilot in the US, but it's 1/10th of that in Nigeria, and you seriously want a more quality product? We all know we have a lot of challenges that have been bedevilling the country for as long as we can remember. It's largely unfair to start dumping the blame on a government that's just 8 months old. The fact is, Nigeria is broke and it's not profitable to keep the subsidy regime if we want any reasonable development. Allow the man to use his mandate the best way he sees it fit. His first 4 years will determine if he's done well or not. No reasonable human will run his personal business the way Nigeria had been run, make una let the man breathe. At least they know what you don't know about the state of things. |
Wallade:That's for people that graduated after 30 years. I went to Finland after my first degree. I came back to serve when I was 32, so I'm talking to you as someone who went through the same process. Except of course if they've changed the law since that time, which I doubt. |
Wallade:That's true. You can still serve several years later provided you graduated before you turned 30. |
GreyLaw:What's the difference between North Korea and Nigeria? ![]() The fact that you typed this rubbish with a phone not pre-configured by the government and being able to read news coming from outside the country makes you a joke. Prisoners in Nigeria eating watery beans are better off than North Koreans. Do you even know that leaving North Korea is like you breaking a jail and that would mean death or live imprisonment if caught? |
Thevideoguy:Embarrassing your beneficiaries by posting their faces on social media. What does the Bible say about the right hand giving without the left hand knowing about it? |
Sunday2021:You have only one vote, remember? And yes, Tinubu will only some of the votes he got from the NE and NE in 2027 (stopping lumping NC with your North.). No one has ever sat on that seat by winning massively in the core Northern states alone. That was why Buhari failed 3 times, so you can give a larger percentage of your vote to whoever you want in 2027 like you did in the last election. He'll still win the popular vote. |
jesusjnr2020:This message itself is a part of the grand deception of satan to shift people's attention away from the real issue. Mr. Man the mark is not a physical mark, it's spiritual and the person you pay allegiance to determines whose mark you'll carry. I hope you know certain people also carry the seal of God on their forehead too? As it is, almost all the world has been set up to receive the mark. And sorry, nothing suggests that anybody will be forced to take it according to the Bible. "Deceived" is the word. |
So these are the Refs that are better than Nigerian Refs? |
Sunday2021:Mr. Man, I don't know what you're talking about. APC only won in Zamfara, Jigawa and Borno out of the combined 13 North East and North West states and he only got up and above 40% in 4 others, so get your facts right. |
Walahi, this ref go cancel goals tire today. 😂. |
BALLOSKI:Arrest someone who has bagged a life sentence already? 😂 |
Sunday2021:He won in only 3 of the core Northern states, Zamfara being the state that gave him the highest percentage (59). I'm hoping you're lumping the North Central with your definition of North? It might interest you that I'm from Kwara state. Each of us has only one vote, and Tinubu is going to win or lose based on his performance, not some few misguided people who think of running a progressive country than the man that has the people's mandates to do so. Of all the issues bedevilling the country and the North in particular, if relocation of some departments of government agency from Abuja (not Kano or Kaduna) has a higher priority, then I don't think you can be taken seriously. |
According to him, “The FCT Minister is inviting the Israelis to come and provide security to Abuja. We have never known anything like kidnapping in Abuja until Wike came into Abuja as a minister.”This person must either be extremely stupid or doesn't know the road that leads to Abuja. |
Sunday2021:How many core Northern states did Tinubu win in the last election? |
Jürgen Klopp has announced his decision to step down as Liverpool manager at the end of the current season, having informed the club’s ownership of his wish to leave his position when the 2023-24 campaign comes to a close. After guiding the Reds to another Wembley final on Wednesday night, the 56-year-old will continue to oversee the team’s remaining fixtures of 2023-24 before bringing the curtain down on a glorious eight-and-a-half-year managerial reign at Anfield, which has seen the club win six major trophies under his guidance to date. Assistant managers Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawietz, as well as elite development coach Vitor Matos, will also vacate their positions at the end of the season, with Lijnders keen to pursue his own career in management. Confirming his decision to Liverpoolfc.com, Klopp outlined the reasons behind it and the timing of today’s announcement, placing particular emphasis on the need for clarity at the earliest opportunity in order to create the conditions for an orderly transition to take place in due course. He said: “I can understand that it’s a shock for a lot of people in this moment, when you hear it for the first time, but obviously I can explain it – or at least try to explain it. “I love absolutely everything about this club, I love everything about the city, I love everything about our supporters, I love the team, I love the staff. I love everything. But that I still take this decision shows you that I am convinced it is the one I have to take. “It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I knew it already for longer that I will have to announce it at one point, but I am absolutely fine now. I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again. “After the years we had together and after all the time we spent together and after all the things we went through together, the respect grew for you, the love grew for you and the least I owe you is the truth – and that is the truth.” https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/jurgen-klopp-announces-decision-step-down-liverpool-manager-end-season

nlfpmod:Charge them to court and if found guilty, sentence them to death by hanging. Let me see if the Governor won't sign their death warrant. |
ebenholer2:Something sinister is going on in that state. I'd advise the people to be on the offensive. |
