jattopeter:Unless you know him personally, you have no prove that he's not a Christian. We have Christians answering Tukur and Gusau. |
jattopeter:Well, he could be a Christian though. |
politicoNG:The Army has no evidence to back up their claims o. The last time I checked, everywhere on the Plateau is full of road blocks. Suffice to say there's a curfew in place. |
yinkkus:You've killed yourself with your own mouth. See how you defined how you intend to end your life! RIP in advance. |
Unlimitedwords:A ministry that's supposed to be scrapped? |
Odidigboigbo:Her submission is rather not the solution to the insecurity problems in the FCT. Wike is already in talks with people that matter in this regard at the council level. |
Odidigboigbo:You certainly don't know what you're saying. The closest elected officials to the people are the council chairmen in the FCT and they don't seem to know what they're doing. These kidnappers have been operating in the FCT for as far back as 2021 (that's the ones I know of). They kidnapped a vehicle together with the passengers along Gwaz-Kwali road. Kidnapping people in their homes in Yangoji was a weekly routine. They even kidnapped a traditional ruler in Rubochi. All these times, nobody cared. I don't know why all of a sudden they're now pretending as if it started last week. |
LegendHero:Well, Christians don't go about claiming Bible was handed down by Yahweh as Moslems do say for Allah and Quran. Did God write the Bible? No. Is it inspired? Yes. You guys are the ones who claim the Quran is directly from Allah, complete, and not even a word has changed since. It has all been proven to be lies. No one can even produce a single manuscript of the Quran within the first 100 years after Mohammed (that's if Mohammed even existed). |
TruthHurts1:Dey play. More than 2 years now, women in Saudi can now drive and they don't need male escorts when traveling. Most of these rules are being relaxed already. Na mumu people dey use hijab. |
nams77:You didn't answer my questions. How many people out of 10 would buy Omo/Sunlight or Lux if they need to buy a detergent/toilet soap? You mentioned Knorr and close up? I hope you also know that Knorr is not even the choice seasoning as we speak and people like me have stopped using close-up toothpaste since I'll have to take mints after mouthwash with it to avoid throwing up? For every product of Unilever you mentioned up there, we have couple of other better products. If removing subsidy means sinking the country, so be it. It's not like you'll even have a country in 2 years with subsidy in place to begin with. |
nams77:You guys just criticize blindly and unintelligently. If 10 people are buying a detergent and a toilet soup this morning, how many of them do you think would buy Omo/Sunlight and Lux? It's been more than 10 years I used any of these products. I'm sure you don't buy them too, but no, Tinubu must be blamed. |
4tomandchi:They're the same people operating in southern Kaduna. From what I heard from people living in places around Bwari, a victim claimed there are ladies working with the kidnappers. |
I too like Drogba. |
smileyoo:Our DSS officers get trained in Israel. Political interests won't make many things work as it should be in this country. |
Are we sure this has anything to do with mining? Are the so-called illegal miners storing mines in their residence? |
So we were producing 2.2 million barrels per day in 2013, and the prices were much higher than now? Buhari's government is and nothing to write home about, but I can't just imagine Jonathan government failed due despite having huge resources at its disposal. |
DMerciful:I'm sure this is what APC guys would have been saying if Obi had won. Everyone is the best President we never had, until given the opportunity. |
Tottenham will still win this match. How Man. United managed to draw Liverpool is what I don't understand. |
ManirBK:We'll have at least 5 fully functional refineries within the next 10 years. |
Racoon:I believe it's the set of people operating around Southern Kaduna. They've been kidnapping people in places just less than a kilometer behind FGGC. I hope the relevant authorities will take necessary steps before the unthinkable happens. |
Franking:Either way, it improves the balance of trade. If we stop importing petroleum products, it will reduce the pressure on our currency and also reduce the value of our importation, thereby improving the balance of export against import. That's the point the person you quoted was trying to make. |
justtoodark:Don't mind them. Always expecting what they can not offer. Same people who have doubled the price of their merchandise within the last few months would want Dangote to sell his fuel cheaply to them. Selfish and wicked people. |
Olarewaju89:SMH. ![]() |
treesun:Mumu talk. We should not gree for terrorists as per say we dey follow una carry gun abi? If you like listen to him. Sorry I'd your name. |
DMerciful:I'm not judging Obi or supporting Tinubu. What I'm saying is, none of these people are perfect and I don't see how anyone of them would have anything differently better. It's OK to criticize but we should not assume we have all the information and accuse others for not acting the way we expected. I can only agree with Obi on wastage in public service, but not on debt. The country is already in mess and unless you're in the position, you won't know the extent. |
DMerciful:We may never find if he's the best or not. My point is, he didn't do well in his last stint in Government as evident, even on Nairaland. Let's just imagine for a second that Obi is the President. What would he have done differently? 1. Maybe he wouldn't have removed subsidy on his first day in office, and put things in order before doing that, but he may never be able to put anything in considering the fact that Nigeria is broke. He would have removed it eventually, if he hopes to achieve anything at all. You don't expect a different outcome in terms of prices of goods and services, do you? You don't know Nigerians if you do. 2. The President can't cut for other arms of government. We need specific laws that'll specify the exact percentage beyond which no public servants can earn above the minimum wage. We don't need a patch-patch approach that would last the maximum of 8 years. |
JASONjnr:So we should allow them to spend recklessly because we don't want them to steal more? What happened to cutting the cost and throw anymore who steals in jail? |
westlius:For 3.5/4.5 feet bed? Not possible. |
My take is that, let that ministry be scrapped altogether. |
DMerciful:Soludo has not spent half of the time Obi spent in office yet. As for the performance, at least, I've not a thread here where Anambra have wondered what exactly Soludo is doing, as it was the case of Obi. If people objectively attested to the fact that Obi was performing poorly during his tenure, I wouldn't know why someone would disagree a decade later and try to push a different narrative. |
DMerciful:How did you come to the conclusion that he doesn't like him? Let's even assume he doesn't like him, does that make him any less an authority on matters of Anambra? This is a state governor that has access to privileged information about the state more than you and I. Well, I don't take awards given to politicians seriously. All governors in Nigeria at a point in time during their tenure have received various awards. That's not an indication of performance. It's feelers during your time that'll use to judge. |
DMerciful:A governor of a state is not an authority on the matter concerning the state he's governing? And we should take your word for it? Who are you exactly? |
