shymexx: On, yeah? Igbo's are already all over the internet about the aviation minister, crying and whining like they're notorious for. They should stay on the internet and move to protests in their homoerotic skirts and hand-bags for the next few weeks. However, we all know they can't hurt a fly - but they'll keep crying till they can't cry anymore. grin

Your Northerners are going to get busy soon and do what they do best. Maiming, killing, burning and destroying everything when they don't get their way.

Ijaw youths are in the trenches waiting patiently to strike.

Yoruba's are studying and monitoring everything closely, to see the right justification to go all out.

The whole country is on a powder keg, waiting to explode. Time will tell.

Back to my NFL game! cool
One of the problems in Nigeria lies with loudmouth inherently found among certain group in Nigeria. In today’s Nigeria, only on tribe has shown the capability to fight a protracted war without help from the outsiders.

bzeey: lol....Democracy in Nigeria is realy going crazy...and yet we want ro stop corruption in the country. B4 it was enugu now imo...all dis in d name for our dear stella? Dis country is filled with jokers!
Yes!! It is only dumbass jokers will fill the airwaves and social media with a case of two BMW cars purchased by NCAA for ministry of aviation official usage.

chima12: Most of these airports are only international by name.bauchi is also building an airport which they say is an international airport;I understand maiduguri also has an international airport, but who will use these airports for international travel?how many businessmen based in these northern towns travel regularly to america, asia, europe or middle east for business?
Most southerners are blinded to reality and futuristic probabilities. Those airports in the northern region of Nigeria will be easily transformed into military use in case of war that will follow disintegration of Nigeria.

May God do same to your destiny for keeping mute on the actions of the people who ran Nigerian Airways to the ground and to our money?

abagoro: Only fools will join in this stupid protest. Ain't nothing tribal about this issue.
Mr. fence sitter, what is not tribal about the noise over the purchase of mere two BMW by the NCAA for ministry of aviation and not for Stella Oduah? Can you point out an iota of fraud committed by Stella Oduah with the purchase of the two BMW cars?

Where were the loudmouthed ingrates when the Nigerian Airways was corruptively ran aground by the Yoruba people
Politics › Re: Why I Don't Want Nigeria's Division by DerideGull(m): 4:32pm On Oct 27, 2013
ebamma: Ever since president Jonathan talked of a sovereign national conference, there have been many people getting excited that finally the conference could lead to a consensus on nigeria's division into different regions, but am on the opposing side
As a niger deltan i might say finally, we will be rid of this northern and western parasites who get their allocations from our oil revenue and are holding our oil wells hostage, but as a rational man, i know what my fellow niger deltans are capable of,
With the likes of Alams now a pardoned man, James Ibori who will soon finish his jail term in britain, Asari Dokubo, the bearded militant, Ateke Tom, General Boyloaf, Government Ekpemepuolo and other ex governors and ex militants, the niger delta region if divided from nigeria could become the new somalia, were rebels, oil bunkerers, corrupt leaders kidnappers could hold us hostage,
Even now that we are still in nigeria, a local government chairman in the niger delta, owns three ships at sea and is involved in oil bunkering, even traditional rulers are not left out, the attitude of many youths in our region makes me afraid of nigeria's division, the get rich quick mentality, na our oil mentality, we no suppose dey even work sef mentality makes me afraid of what will happen if we secede from nigeria,
Even with the millions the FG pays to ex militants yearly, the are still involved in 50% of bunkering that takes place in the region, as Michael Douglas in the movie Wall street said, ' greed has no end' if we are left alone the greed of our leaders and our people may ruin us.
Though Nigeria was mistake we could not prevent
Atleast Secession is a mistake we can prevent.
The moment I read “as a niger deltan”, I stopped reading the crap and concluded the jackass does not fit to be either a citizen of Nigeria or nation state formed after the disintegration of former.

Lack of patriotism set in when a troll tries to avoid who he or she was. I say you are a troll to claim “niger deltan” when idiotic crap does not exist.
Politics › Re: Oduah: Groups Plan Nationwide Mass Protes by DerideGull(m): 4:20pm On Oct 27, 2013
@OP

This group is one reason Nigeria is called a cesspit. Have they established an iota of scam or corrupt intensions in the purchase of cars? What form of corruption has these malnourished fools discovered in the procurement of the two BMW cars?
Politics › Re: Is There Any Ethnic by DerideGull(m): 4:15pm On Oct 27, 2013
@OP

If not for tribally biased instigation because of Enugu International airport, why would you talk about Stella Oduah in light of mere two BMW cars purchased by NCAA for ministry of aviation official usage?

It is only in a jungle such as Nigeria that political hay is raised because a ministry or agency procured vehicles for official usage not personal.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To The Tribalistic Fool by DerideGull(m): 3:57pm On Oct 27, 2013
perfectgen: @DerideGull, I really weep for people like you, you feel it sucks to be a Nigerian. I know you would rather be from another nation but wake up, you are still a Nigerian and while you are at it, if you don't stand up for what is right irrespective of your tribe, you will end up being treated as lower citizens wherever you run to. The reason so many people are travelling out is because the government of those countries have made sufficient plans for their citizens. Would it be too much to ask from our own government too to put some important amenities in place rather than robbing us blind while we keep on supporting them because they are our kinsmen?
When I wrote you did not understand the denotation of word-“Education”, I meant every word in the sentence. You should be liken to a joker who was born 20 years ago and refused to read up. After what happened in Nigeria in 1966 which saw a war of attrition, only drunken fool will run out to lynch a kinsman who had collected undue share of Nigeria’s national cake.

By the way, I honestly and humanly wanted Nigeria disintegrated. So that people in your foolish cocoon will cease to see tribalism.
Politics › Re: Do You Think Dividing Nigeria Will Solve Our Problems? by DerideGull(m):
iphy42: I have followed with interest the intrigues that surround the call for a Sovereign or Non sovereign National Conference.
Many have argued that 1914 amalgamation was a big mistake while others maintain that our strength is in our number.
I think we need to be informed before taking a stand so as not to join the bandwagon driven by sentiments, greed, avarice and struggle for political control by few individuals.
Let me start with the Niger Deltans. They believe they have been marginalized and their resources forcefully taken over from them to develop Nigeria and so on but I have these thoughts for them:
1. Their leaders have received derivation fund for years, what exactly has those
Niger deltan sons done with that fund to benefit the people of region?
All the compensation money from oil companies, has it being used to better the life of the people or to provide basic infrastructure?
2. The NDDC is manned by Niger deltans, yet their eyes and ears are closed to the suffering of their people. The leadership instead loot funds meant for development and enrich their cronies and immediate families.
3. The president is from Niger delta. Has he done enough to empower his people asides paying millions of dollars to an ex militant to secure pipelines which MEND claims to destroy thereby polluting the communal lands and waters more.

Now fast forward to a divided Nigeria, are these same people looting the region dry not the ones that will be the leaders then? What would they do differently? Will they suddenly become humane? I doubt so.
Will the ijaws not want to be in charge? Will the Urhobos and Itshekiris oblige them? Will the Kalabaris and Isokos tag along? Will the division that chased them
from Nigeria not tear them apart?

I really want objective input from well meaning Nigerians for or against division so as to know the real situation on ground before we embark on this journey of no return.

I'll be right back with more.
It will solve the most problems associated with Nigeria and, at least, the damn country will cease to exist. The development will explode across the terrain once known as Nigeria because its disintegration will engender genuine competition and encourage mutual cooperation among the nation states with similar ideology.

If Republic of Igbo is lagging behind Republic of Oodua due to incompetent leadership, the citizen of Republic of Igbo will just throw out the bad leaders and bring people who can raise them to the par to mutually challenge the achievements of Republic of Oodua and vis-à-vis. This scenario could be found between Islamic Republic of Sokoto Caliphate, Republic of MiddleBelt, Islamic Republic of Kanuri Caliphate, etc.

Nigeria is suffering from lack of patriotism which stems from conflicting incentives due to differences in culture and tradition of the inhabitants. Other than the word-Nigeria and the amalgamation the colonialists hung on our necks, there is nothing binding Nigerians together. When few Nigerians saw the ills of the first government in Nigeria and they attempted to nib it on the bud, the actions of the few Nigerians were quickly turned into tribal thing hence the civil war.

This single instance has set the stage for perpetual looting in Nigeria because any move to stop looting candidates shall be quickly regarded as tribally biased lynching. In addition, Nigerians are silly pretenders who will tend to look the other way when a person of their stock is involved in the looting and shout like drunken donkey when the looter is not a person from their stock.
Politics › Re: Open Letter To The Tribalistic Fool by DerideGull(m):
perfectgen: Oh great Nigeria, the land of the strong and erudite scholars, what has become of thee?
Our parents pool their meager resources together, just to ensure we get educated; in the hope that we would be able to better our lives over time. We claim to be graduates and educated elites yet our so called ''education'' is that of the pariah who knows it all and would not give in to other people's school of thought.
Tribalism has eaten deep into our roots that we now don't even see things from the angle of the educated but basically as an insult on our tribe.
We all learnt that Stella Oduah used "our hard-earned money" to beef up her personal security; which isn't a wrong thing on its own merit, but at what cost? We fight ourselves daily online and continue the divide known as Nigeria by claiming we are either from the North, West, East or the South.
Just today, I read that in Lagos state, people now pay tolls on wooden bridge, whose structural design can never stand the test of time with the State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, supporting the concept under the auspices of "private initiative". My questions to him is who controls the excesses of this self-made government (toll collectors) and which law confers the right on them to tax their fellow free men?
However, that is not the crux of the issue; the issue lies with us. We have let the government play hide and seek with our destinies; we can't boast of good roads, good education, social amenities; even a job after the so called "education" yet we come here to support them just because they are from our tribe.
I bet our generation would never forgive us because when we should have taken the bull by the horn, all we did was play lip service. How many of us can boast of the assurance of a better Nigeria, when all we have are corrupt leaders?
I appeal to you, the so called elite who reasons not with his/her emotions but with his/her brain to stop tribalism and fight for what is right. The Westerner shouldn't support a Yoruba man that has done wrong, likewise should the Easterner never support an Ibo person who has not shown good leadership examples. We should come together as one Nigeria to make our leaders accountable to us; irrespective of being our kinsmen so that we can have that future we crave for.
To you who chooses to still comment based on tribalistic sentiments, I have no other word for you than to tell you that your education was a waste and you will always end up a tribalist.
The above silly thread you created proved a character common among Nigerians. It is safe to say you do not the meaning of "Education" or "Tribalism" yet you have the audacious pedigree to open your putrid mouth in the public. It sucks to be a Nigerian and have you as a compatriot.

We are talking of Fraud, money spent without approval, claiming N2000 while you actually paid N2.00, ignoring procedures. You sure do have a very low IQ and you are the dumbass NOT Nigeria...your little education is a wasted effort too.
You are an irredeemable dunce. Did Coscharis Motors informed you the prices of the two BMW cars were less than the prices quoted by NCAA? It is only in Nigeria that a celebrated dumbass such as you who has not placed a foot in BMW showroom will take about the prices.

OAM4J: You should have kept quiet since you don't know how things are run in Nigeria and the role of BPP. How can you analyse and form an opinion on principles you know nothing about? Leave it for those who know to analyse and discuss.
I can put down a huge bat that the only thing you know about budgetary issues is the one you read from idiotic and obscure sources. You are a big reason Nigeria is behind the curve in development of any sort.

Nothing leads to corruption more than tribal bias. Nigeria will explode due to endemic corruption. Nobody had said disintegration of Nigeria is going be a cakewalk but discussing about it on a roundtable is a better alterative than fighting it out in a war front.
Nwanne, I feel your pain. But that pain is what I classify as surmountable growing pains. A friend of mine had the same issues with partners he brought from Texas to look into building grain silos. Some how, his foreign partners overcame their fears after building the first silo and raking in millions. They've since returned to build over 25 Silos. On one ocasion they entered Nigeria through Niger republic by road, the incentive was there for them.

We truly need to remove tribalism from the decisions to revamp our airports and yes, I agree with you that the lack of multiple, functioning international airports in the SE is a disgrace and a prime shame.
It seems the underlining theme of your post on building grain silos in Nigeria bordered on making money. I have nothing against making money but we must not lose the sight of grass root appendages of our actions while making money. For example, the issue of grain silos in Nigeria readily comes to mind. Except for the few fortunate Nigerians, how would the silos help grass root agricultural practices or a local farmer in Abakiliki, Owo or Oturkpo?

There are miles and miles of farmland often owned by world Class Corporation in certain countries where silos are gainfully used not a jungle such as Nigeria.
ngwanu, join hands and lets rebuild this nation, one step at a time. Calling for integration and constantly calling our dear country cesspit is enough. Your hero, Winstin Churchill, did not contribute to the betterment of the UK from diaspora.
There are people in Diasporas who have lamented about lack of international airport in eastern Nigeria and seemed tired of bringing investors to Nigeria who got scared about their safety on the second leg trip from Lagos to eastern part of country. Today, a lady who has listened and tried to encourage the usage of Enugu airport as a gateway has been besieged with flimsy issue by tribal bigots who do not want the spread of development to other parts of Nigeria but theirs.

I hate the idea of being in Nigeria and see people go through hard times that could have be avoided by simple application of social decorum. I have stopped flying into Lagos and Abuja due to personal reasons and also as an individual protest although my choice of airlines to PH is shamefully limited to two.

It is even disgusted that the local champions whom I considered compound fools thought making money is a ladder to high social status in the society and to sleep with numerous women instead of using the money to make the society a livable place for all.
People keep talking about Sovereign National Conference as if its participants will be pooled from Mars or Jupiter rather than Nigeria. The best we can hope for at the moment is that we take steps in the right direction with the impending constitutional amendment. I submit to you that the vast majority of 162million Nigerians are ready for improvements in the constitution but are not interested in any form of disintegration.

The lazy fools in diaspora who have no vested interest in Nigeria and do not have financial interest over possibly N5million, are the ones who are the internet warriors and noisemakers. I challenge them to come home and champion the disintegration process. lost mumus
Are you still in control of the social orders above your shoulders? Most people in Diasporas have more considerable experience than local champions that are rated below fools in social strata and have not seen an organized lifestyle on earth. I make bold to say most people in Diasporas have solid financial investment in the cesspit called Nigeria and had found the geographical expression as dead-end.
i'm glad you have now realized that dismemberment of Nigeria cannot happen without a major war which most Nigerians do not want. If you people are hell bent on carving out biafra, go ahead and declare your secession again and see how far you'll get.

With disintegration off the table, we can focus on realistic issues such as regionalism, state police, federalism, resource control, marginalization of our people, and other important topics - mind you off-shore resources must remain 100% under the feds.
You must be ashamed of yourself for running out of articulated ideas. If you think Nigerians will talk about federalism, what do Nigerians have now, monarchy? It is real funny reading from your crap about regionalism when Nigerians have tried regionalism and usurpers thought it was bad. Only dunces do not know that the issue of off-shore resources has been decided by the highest court in the land. Why should Nigerians talk about state police instead of state army? Are you marginalized?

I guess essence of being bereaved of sound ideas has become second nature to most Nigerians. It is really a pity.

Nigerians are full of it. What arrant nonsense is Dr. Femi Okurounmu talking about National Conference would not discuss dismembering of Nigeria? If so, what the hell is national conference going to discuss that could not be handled by NASS? And why did he accept to chair a conference that will not discuss how Nigerians will relate to each other?
If we can not discuss the disintegration of Nigeria peacefully, it then means war is the only option. I guess Nigerians will remember to hold terrible betrayal artists such as Dr. Femi Okurounmu responsible.

Guk: Deeply troubled by the quality of arguments/positions taken by "educated" Nigerians on the Bulletproof BMW cars saga.
Its just indefensible that NCAA & Aviation Min will argue that its from their IGR & therefore we have no say. WE DO!!
The IGR is our hard earned income that we pay as taxes at Airports and on Ticket purchases.
A 1 way ticket to PH from Lagos averages =N=16,000. Only =N=3k+ goes to the Airline. The rest is Tax.
A Lagos London ticket on Virgin is USD 444.01. NGN 172,711 represent taxes, fees, charges and carrier imposed surcharges. Its an obscene usage of our taxes & its condemnable. It must stop!
Would you have been happy if she has purchased tricycle for aviation operations? It is only in dumbass Nigeria that purchase of aviation’s operational fleets is termed corruption. I do not give a hoot as long the two BMW cars were not turned into personal usage. In certain countries, corporate entities including airlines maintain fleets of jets for official use.

OAM4J: So we should have special laws for Ministry of aviation? Or the fact that they generate a quarter of their annual budget means they should go ahead and spend as they like? Who owns The Ministry of Aviation and the agencies under it? Mrs Stella Oduah?
I am not interested in usual Nigerian sentimental and tribal clouded arguments of bereaved facts. I do not know how anything is run in the cesspit called Nigeria but a ministry given N4.5b on fleet maintenance has leverage to add as it chooses. Again, there is a delegated budget modification clause as well as 10% budgetary rule. I do not know much about the facts regarding the claims made by BPP on the issue of N100m limit as stated by the post. Nigeria is known for its stupidity and I bet the so-called BPP is not left out of it.

What has who owns the ministries and angencies got to do with guided principles overseeing roles and conducts?
