LikeAking:Nobody says you should be poor. But be a good person. You cannot live this way and still have the moral justification to remove yourself as one of Nigeria's big problem. |
osazsky:I'm quite certain you're not a member of ASUU. Else you won't misunderstand my statement and also not express yours clearly too in one swoop. ![]() |
Companies that are headquartered in Western Countries. A good number of them offer remote jobs and have office spaces here and there. The greatest attribute they have is being very adaptive. If transportation is a problem, then, work from home. If inflation is hitting, increase base pay or allowances, then find a means to get more clients and the existing clients to upgrade their fees. But first, make the employees happy. You'd get access to really healthy work environments, benefits and policies. Trust me, you wouldn't want it any other way. And it will be a good precedent while setting up your own company. Unlike what is obtainable in Nigeria. Take NMA v FG for example; Doctors got tired of being guilt tripped for striking constantly at the expense of human lives; they had to seek greener pastures abroad. Now we have a problem of brain drain in that area. FG is playing the same script with ASUU. It's only a matter of time. |
ASUU filed an appeal but were told to resume first as ordered by the court, right? It was a case involving the FG. That's cool. This is another case involving the FG. What's going on here? |
shortIGBOman:This isn't a problem. We always know who cries about brain drain in the end. |
In everything, let's go back to the root of the problem. What is the base cause of this strike? Unfulfilled necessities of over a decade. There you have it. Of course the FG can decide to withhold their salaries. Nothing stops them from doing that; not even a court order. We know who'd suffer the consequences of disgruntled employees. |
Lagos State government have chosen to retain the funds that don't appear in their financial statement over the morbid desires of those miscreants. It's a partial but gradual win for hardwork and honest living. |
The only time he won't sleep off while sitting |
With such brains working this way, the rate at which teenagers, at worst, commit suicide can only grow. We fight this menace enough in schools; parents causing depression in their children with such archaic decisions. |
lhordspy:Obaseki just called you an insane person but you're still crying over OBIdients ![]() |
We know as dem dey always end. |

All thanks to Peter Obi's timely revelations, the government is scrambling to save face. They think his visits to these areas is mere junketeering. The real reason these Agbado Ninjas are jittery over his visits is they fear his keen eyes for details which will bring their corrupt principals to additional disrepute. |
Robisky001:Bad loans especially but all in all, while they made a great percentage of profit, their recorded loss of 6bn was too much, and is much more than the profit they recorded.. |
Learn from Kuda mistakes and don't follow Flutterwave's suspicious activities. |
tribalmall:Would have said 'Amen' but you may cross paths with someone I know tomorrow so I will reject nonsense for you. Nobody throws stone into a market their mother went to. |
There may be ulterior motives but the timeliness of this decision is a lesson for some Nigerian politicians. |
Okoroawusa:Omo.. See envy. Envy person wey know you, still envy person wey no know you. Mad o ![]() God abeg. |
Those were donated by ordinary citizens who came together to do something for the affected despite their own individual hardship in Nigeria. Blessed be the person that motivates Nigerians to be so selfless. |
Mraphel:Oh please. Stop with this ignorant take. If the Igbos are not as peaceful, why do the Agberos not subject the Northern members of the Alaba market to the same extortion racket they've subjected the Igbos to for years? Tell me that we're not subservient, then you have a point. But peaceful? Like dude, we love nothing than minding our own damn business and doing what we feel is best for our personal interests. We do not take kindly to being forced to take a decision that is not favourable to us. That's about it. |
KingKO22:The cost of a fairly used bicycle in Nigeria is about #30,000. Remind me of the minimum wage in Nigeria again and how many people have access to it. You were crying over grassroot campaign before. Now you dey whyne your self with computer age. |
Myer:Confusion should be your middle name. Nigeria is failing because of the norm. This influenced your lack of belief in One Nigeria. Yet you still respect politicians of the norm. The two you've mentioned have played critical roles in ensuring Nigeria is where it is today. You don't know the colour of your problem, Senior Man. Support your candidate with your full chest and move on, abeg. Myer:Tell him to please reach out to those in Kano to settle the women that were hired. They're not pleased https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbSPG6oa68w |
ElSudani:No. They wear animal skin |
In other words, Can you be a Peter Obi? ![]() He's like the closest thing we have to that amongst the immensely popular once. But sometimes, diplomacy dictates you cross the lines. |
TheGoodJoe:A very vital question. |
Providing the camp with this is a good start. Paving way for your team to connect them to an even more sustainable recovery path is greater. What a man! God bless you. Ride on Sir! |
IPOB again ![]() |
See how you dey climb step, dey ask if you look like a sick man ![]() Not to talk of those gaffes you've been blessing skit makers on YouTube and tiktok with. Old age and im wahala. |
It's like Moderators on Nairaland is volunteers job ![]() What happened to due diligence? There'd always be misleading news but there's a reason content moderators exist. |
Corrinthians:Oshey, Failed student detector. Remove all the planks in your eyeballs first. |
You think a lot must have changed? All the times you called on them during the disaster of 2012, how many times did they respond? Peter Obi, come onboard and change things for the better. Let me experience a working Nigeria in my adult life. |
