Seeing as you just politicized and polarized your entire submission with this assumption that EndSARS is an anti-APC agenda, why should anyone even take you seriously? undecided
When the elders at Ojo were begging their youths not to destroy the police stations, what is the political inclination (or tribe I daresay) of the youths being begged?

This is another reality we are running away from.
Most teenagers will definitely have sex before marriage, but we keep selling this abstinence that not many are interested in buying.

Advising them on safe sex is better. Even though it may attract criticism.

CelebritiesRe: Comprehensive Teen Sex Education by DesChyko: 1:12pm On Nov 01, 2020
Sex education is necessary and it addresses an already existing thought. It's even better if a non-relative member of the opposite sex manages to connect to a teenager or group of teenagers and guide them accordingly.

The fact remains that these teens know about the idea of sex, even more than we may care to admit. The only sure thing is their ignorance about the myths of sex. That is a recipe for disaster, considering how wild their hormones are running at this stage.

Not surprised about the fellows here causing nuisance fuelled by the pain from NOI global recognition.

As predicted, he isn't here to congratulate her and his jolly colleagues are already here causing nuisance.

They are terrorist organization
.."In our coverage of terrorism, we rely strongly on data from the Global Terrorism Database (GTD), which defines terrorism as [b]“acts of violence by non-state actors, perpetrated against civilian populations, intended to cause fear, in order to achieve a political objective.” Its definition excludes violence initiated by governments (state terrorism) and open combat between opposing armed forces, even if they’re non-state actors."

'Terrorism; Our World In Data'

Only mischievous elements in the society see IPOB as a terrorist group. Little wonder they are also against the youth exercising the democratic rights of peaceful protests from Day 1.

I pity Nigerian youths.

How easy it is for us to lose focus.

A protest calling for an end to police brutality and all glaring aspects of bad governance put forward at least five agenda for the government to immediately resolve.

A speech from the president didn't address any of those demands directly, and so far, the government are not saying enough of it.

Instead, we are focused on the controversial issues arising from the physical protest itself all through the period, while the purpose wastes away.

EducationRe: Once Bitten, Twice Shy - 1st Term School Fees by DesChyko: 6:32am On Oct 26, 2020
ogtechinc:
Recall that shortly before the end of 2nd term this year around March, schools were shutdown as a result of Covid-19 and parents that paid school fees for their wards were more or less shortchanged as there were still some weeks to go before the end of the term. They let this go, understandably.
Most Parents were ultimately not shortchanged as far as Nigeria is concerned because
1. They were already writing examinations. Most were halfway gone while a few successfully completed the examinations for the term.
2. Many parents were still owing for the second term fees prior to school opening in September.

There come the questions, what will happen to the fees paid already? The students that resumed but after some weeks were driven home due to non-payment, if they do not return to school again this year, would they be seen as owing the school? Could parents have waited till January 2021?

What are your thoughts? Is this the case of once bitten, twice shy?
Many Parents have had about five months of not paying regular school fees, so they shouldn't hesitate to have their children in school and pay up their fees early (with special consideration granted to private school staff). Plus being in school isn't all about the duration but the learning that takes place within that time. I personally feel we are overloading our kids with too much information at school. School helps us as parents double our hustle to meet up with our kids demands.
And yes, any parent whose ward resumed school has registered for learning for the new term and would be in debt except the parent reaches an agreement with the school management.
