Some rappers like VEC and even M.I. have great deliveries that are not even in their albums.

Because for me, rap is about wordplay, metaphors and lyrics fuses into rhymes and done flawlessly. The faster, the better.

And the best part is..double entendres. A line having two meanings both of which make meaning to the subject matter.

Examine this part of VEC's verse in Distractions (Reminisce diss)

'Your CDs like abandoned ships, they make no sail'

bars in the first refer to both his lines and prison bars however you reason it.
Sail in the second is a wordplay on 'sale' of the CDs.
'Whale' in the third is a wordplay on 'wail' as per person wey wan diss am.

Bro, listen to this and how he does that effortlessly on the mic with almost every verse. Hidden meanings everywhere.

Well i have followed Mode 9 for year. at one point, i had ALL his cds. never missed one. Mode 9 is the best. but i disagree respectfully. when i listen to both Vector and MI, MI stands out. punch lines,lyricism, delivery,metaphors. MI s the ONLY rapper who i know is on the same wave length with MODE. i have listened to Vector. he is good but not that good. most times he tries too much. and he sounds so much like Jay Z. i hate it when artiste copy. but if you feel Vector is better, bring his best song lyrically and i would listen to it this night. i feel his lines are weak.
