If you assume an intelligent life form may be out there who orchestrated our existence then it would take us back to a designer who is higher and greater than us and can be called God.

One can describe the qualities of this God based on a simple observation of his creation and their nature. But since we cannot physically see this God we cannot describe him superficially.

What do you think about evolution and its many postulations which are mixed in with a lot of speculation?

I started reading Frederick Gould's "DEVELOPING YOUR LATENT POWERS" in 1995 while in the University. What spurned my interest in the occult (the word simply means 'hidden') was because of several experiences I had as a 10 year old. I realized I see things beyond what ordinary kids my age see. If anything, it made me more devout as a sufi muslim....

Sometime past I went to a church for a revival programme. During the prayer session the man of God began to prophesy and proclaimed that God revealed to him that someone (who happens to be the church sexton) is going to be involved in an accident which may possibly lead to his death.

The man (sexton) in question did not attend the service.
So prayers were rendered
for him hoping God would avert the terrible fate he was supposed to meet. The service came to an end and everybody went home.

The next day, as predicted, the man had the accident and sustained a few injuries but luckily he survived and shared his ordeal in the church to the amazement of everyone in attendance.

Now here is my question for atheists who don't believe in the existence of Gods, the supernatural, ghosts, magic (not tricks), and what not: how did the man of God come about his prophecy?

And before you rush to question the validity of the story I narrated, know that I was a witness, not that I was told by someone.

You were "not" a Christian. If you were those "church" people would not love you. You were just in a religious setting were people mumbled some scriptures from time to time and sang hymns and songs and were satisfied with themselves. They loved you because you were just like them.

But now, you are drifting away and you are afraid it is God you are running away from. Not! Many men and women who got genuinely saved threaded this part of scepticism including me. Little did we know that it was God beckoning on us until we got saved!

These "churches" that we revere took us far from God. They are stiff and powerless. They dull our minds and make us hate God and love them. How can you be a Christian and have no passion for God? I mean God not church-god or activities or the euphoria of being a "Christian from birth" (this doesnt even exist).

When God calls people he calls them out of the grave not in the grave where everything is dead and were none sings His praise.

Dalaman and the rest are not religious and have spent their time in the religious section of Nairaland on what they do not believe exists and are not religious

If that isn't a good reason to carry out a psychological assessment, I don't know what is.

Let me give a few names of such atheists and screenshots of their profile and the registration date it holds.

Dalaman -------- Has been here on Nairaland since 2008. That's 9 years of being on Nairaland hopelessly repeating the same noise over and over again. Always having carry overs with no hope of graduation.

Frank317 --------Has also been here on Nairaland since 2008 and has been foolishly hoping everywhere repeating the same chant of God does not exist all over Nairaland. 9 years of mumuism yet he claims to be a psychologist. I wonder what kind of psychologist would not know that 9 years is too long a time to engage in a futile game which others who have repeatedly tried have died off and have been forgotten. His psychological mind seems strangely unable to see his own foolishness.

Hopefullandlord ------- I can bet my head that one has been on Nairaland with a different moniker for around 6 to 8years but chose to switch to hopefullandlord when he began being active in the religion section.

For him I posted his profile because when here he is like the pendulum of a grandfather clock. When things are at ease he claims atheist (full swing) but when he is pushed real hard he now springs up a clause to his atheism. He suddenly claims (agnostic atheist). For that one his confusion seems to be on autopilot.

It did not take me long to observe them especially since I have been here for less than a year but I always take my time to look at profiles often before responding especially since I know a lot of atheists here sometimes pretend to be Christians.

Ever wondered why some well known atheists on nairaland have been here for years trying to prove the non existence of God?

If they believe God doesn't exist then it's safe to say that they should leave and let live but this cannot happen because even the evil spirits within them know that God is real so they torment and make them unable to live in peace within themselves. Always debating, always restless.

If God is not real to you, then simply don't click on "Religion" because you atheists are not religious people and shouldn't be discussing issues on Religion.

It doesn't make sense to have people who aren't part of any religion, actively participating on religious topics
