ikotunblog: Good English is very important there is nothing like "How was your day" is either you say "How was your day" or rather say "How was your day" The "How" is supposed to come before "Was" then followed by "Day" so stop saying "How was your day" and start saying "How was your day"..period

Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin, is one of the biggest sports facilities in Nigeria. It was built in 1977, making it also one of the oldest in the country.
Popularly referred to as 'Stadium' by the residents of Ilorin, it is arguably the most visited place in the city.
Ilorin Metro TV toured the sports complex and brought to you this interesting video about the place.
Bbbwings: Kindly change your heading to reflect that.
Do you only read heading and head straight to comment? The heading asks if Ilorin is most peaceful city, but the argument here is about my caption on some pictures taken at GRA. My content clearly promotes GRA Ilorin as a place to live if you have money
Vado: What do you mean by media hype? Do you mean to say Muslims didn't instigate violence tearing gates down and shining churches just last year or so? I've lived here for 30+ years so don't sugarcoat anything here.
I would rather you don't blow things out of proportion due to sentiment.
OgunkeelAllMod: FoOlan1 conquered yaribanza village! .. peaceful Abi very dull, unlively, uninteresting, boring malu enclave.. sarathief kwara plc.most of development in ilorin township from taiwo oke, downward, kulende,GRA Axis are handiwork of the igbos take it or leave it
Not surprised, that is how you people behave...and you want others to vote for an Igbo man as president.
sojiboy: How can you say Ilorin is the most peaceful state in Nigeria, Ilorin that's knowns for religion crisis...
Ekiti is the most peaceful for record
Which and when....you people will just be saying what you have no fact about. Please, remind me of the killings, maiming, burning and the curfew concerning the said religious crisis.
Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, Nigeria, is known for peace and tranquility. Though an emirate, but it is one of those places where people enjoy freedom the most. The people of Ilorin are very tolerant and accommodating. That accounts for the city's relative peace over the years.
Though some people consider Ilorin to be too conservative and boring, that, I most say, is not entirely true.
If you have money and want a place in Nigeria where you can enjoy your money in peace with nobody meddling in how you choose to live your life, please come to Ilorin and specifically, choose GRA, Ilorin.
Ilorin metro tv takes you round GRA Ilorin to give you a glimpse of its serenity and beauty. GRA is the biggest neighbourhood in the city and most expensive. That is where the rich live.
Watch the video, like and comment and don't forget to subscribe to the channel in order to encourage us to give you more interesting contents.
Throwback: You are obviously speaking out of ignorance.
I remember seeing roads like this during Tinubu's tenure.
He started the cobble stone roads allover Victoria Island in a road resurfacing drive, to help cater to the beach soil condition in that area. I remember Akin Adesola Str, Adeola Odeku Str, Ajose Adeogun Str as some of those touched. I remember how marveled I was at the quality of the job done while internship hunting in 2007.
On the mainland, he also revamped Oba Akran Road in Ikeja which was my daily route to school in the early 2000's, Oregun Road (Kudirat Abiola), Ijeshatedo Road in Surulere where I sat for my JAMB UME in the early 2000's also, are some of the many roads that featured in his achievements leading to re-election in 2003.
Funny you should mention Power as a priority.
Guess who tried to overdo himself to ensure there was private power generation in Lagos when others still waited on the federal government?
It was Tinubu who had that foresight and engaged Enron to come into Nigeria to develop Power generation for Lagos State, but the Obasanjo/PDP led federal government would not allow an opposition party Governor ridicule the federal government by succeeding where they had every intention to fail. So they frustrated the initiative.
Tinubu had many firsts that went beyond roads and power, but also simple governance initiatives like returning all missionary schools siezed by the 1979 to 1983 class of democratic state governments and better manage the true public schools, to initiatives and ideas about State vs Federal Government power separation.
Lagos State under Tinubu became the template to be copied by other states who needed to setup State agencies to better deliver and manage public service to the citizenry.
All the mentioned and more are the reasons why I wholly believe that Nigeria should give the city boy a chance to lead Nigeria.
Khaleepha5681: The one does not feel can pull out and be successful. It is about someone loyal to party like Abdullahi Adamu....it is where you come from but where you are now.
For example, Wike is party man while Kwankwaso is man for himself and so Obi.
I can bet u that Tomorrow morning people going to work will still carry bike from Surulere to CMS to beat the traffic the closure of Apongbon bridge has caused .
