The project was started by Sanwo Olu not Ambode. It is part of the red line of the Lagos rail project. The purpose of the flyover is to prevent interruption of movement of the trains by vehicles coming from Awolowo road linking Lagos-Abeokuta express way. It was started last year. A a huge rail station is also being constructed there and it is almost completed now. When finished, it will be the biggest of the stations along the red line

The animal eaters crew can eat any living thing that isn't human. You'll be seeing topics like:
"See the ............... I killed in my work place this morning"
"See the big.......killed by my brother in his farm today"
The next is pictures of the unfortunate animal in a pot of soup.
The FTC crew also have common trait, a very annoying one for that matter. If you have seen comments with just a letter before and you don't know what they're all about, those are the First to Comment crew:

The worst of all are the BIGOTS & TRIBALIST Crew. They are venomous. Always tribalise every thread they come across and are fond of cyber bullying people of other faith

EducationRe: Why Do Some Graduates Find It Difficult To Speak Good English? by DesignMaestro(m): 5:21pm On Mar 30, 2022
sherylbaky:
Articulacy is the ability to speak fluently, and this can be done in any language in the world.

Education is the acquisition of "personal development", knowledge, skill development, habit, morals and values, These are the essence of education.

Therefore, education could be acquired in any language.
Out of this personal development is 'exposure'.

Exposure teaches that we have different people around the world with different languages.
German speaks their language
Spanish speaks theirs
Portuguese with theirs as well.

Hence, if someone can not speak a foreign language or other dialects, it doesn't mean the person is not educated.
But if someone has failed in the area of skill, value, moral, habit or personal development, it's an evidence that the person is not well educated.
This kind of reasoning is difficult to find among Nigerians. Inability to speak English fluently is though a big weakness considering the implications, but that doesn't make someone incompetent or poorly educated. We should know that language is a skill on its own. Some are well endowed with it while others are not.

no Africa teams can win the World Cup for now.
An African team can win world cup. Sometimes it is not about pedigree, luck is also involved in the game of football. Remember that underdogs do win against all odds sometimes. It has happened before. Greece won Europe 2004 from nowhere, Leicester city won EPL in 2016 and Nigeria also won olympic gold in football as underdogs.

I don't think it has yet happened in fifa world cup but it is bound to happen. Africa is in the best position to produce the surprise team. Also remember that we have had the flashes of that shocker in the past. Cameroon in 1990, Nigeria in 1994, Senegal in 2002 and Ghana in 2010.

I believe it is near....an underdog is winning the world cup soon

Shut up
you don't know anything about football
you're just a bandwagon.
statistically Egypt ar poised to win Nigeria
head to head they're far better
they also rank above Nigeria in both world fifa rankings and Africa ranking.
so why will their odd be bigger?
that bookmarkers gave Nigeria such odds even shows respect from them because if not they would have given Nigeria something like 6+ odds while Egypt will be like 1.8 or so

so shut up and stick with praising the failure we have in Aso rock
you're not a football fan but a troll.

you're Chelsea fan with this moniker and Madrid fan with Ilovedemmanna moniker
maybe you'll be Wycombe fan with NL policewoman moniker.
who you dey deceive?
Abeg shift
we know you more than yourself.
You are wrong..Nigeria is ranked above Egypt. We are fift. They are not in the top five for Africa in fifa ranking:
1. Senegal
2. Algeria
3. Morocco
4. Tunisia
5. Nigeria
I think Egypt are sixth. Bookmakers don't base their odds on fifa ranking, they base it on many factors that include form, injuries, H2H, etc. It is a business so the odds are set to reflect highest possible outcomes. In Nigeria vs Egypt case, Moh Salah's presence swung the price slightly in favour of Egypt and that is why they were given about 40% chance of winning (2.5) while Nigeria got something around 30% (3.25). The bookmakers also consider the number of money put on each possibility to adjust the odds. They can't be so silly to make their judgement the way football fans on the street would do. It is business, a speculative business.

Zandena:
This incident has exposed the lies that Yoruba people are tolerant!
If the Muslims in the south West embark on aggressive religious campaigns like their xtian counterparts, Maiduguri will be a child play!
The tolerance people talk about always is that the Muslim Yorubas are tolerant of others and not their xtians and that is what has contributed to shrinking population of muslims in the south west.
Muslims have been emasculated by xtians in the south west. Imagine that Female Muslim children should not cover their heads as required by their religion!
The most intolerant xtians in Nigeria are in the south west!
I agree with you but you must also admit that christians in southern Nigeria in general are intolerant towards muslims and we need to start talking about it.

If you are talking about being liberal and tolerant, we the muslims in SW are first on the rank. In yorubaland, muslims are higher in population than christians but christians control the economy and the civil service due to education advantage they have had in the past.

Why people say yorubas are tolerant is simply because in most homes we have muslims and christians who are siblings. But we must look at how our christian brothers and sisters treat us. They despise those muslims who adhere strictly to their islamic faith and admire the so called 'social' ones especially the ladies that dress in western way. In schools and offices where christian are owners or dominant, muslims are openly discriminated against. This is a fact we live with everyday and it has been there for long. Ansaruddeen Muslims Society and the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria were established for this particular reason, go and find out.

I am a muslim and I have personally experienced ridiculous act of intolerance from christians in the past, but we keep trying to make ourselves better rather than voicing out our displeasure with the way we are treated by the more educated christians. Imagine in ilorin which is predominantly a muslim population, I was denied an accomodation I loved and wanted to rent because I am a muslim and the landlady told me bluntly that they don't rent their property to muslims. This happened when I showed up with my wife who was wearing hijab, even the agent was embarrassed because everyone knew it was my wife's hijab that put her off.

In the same ilorin, a public school would deny its muslim staff and muslim students the permission to pray simply because the school is tagged as 'missionary school'. Is there anywhere in the bible where it is said that you should frustrate people who do not accept your religion? These schools and their sympathizers flooded to the street to condemn the government's decision that muslim girls should be allowed to wear hijab. Same people would claim human right activists.

Christians here must admit their intolerance. Just read comments of christians about any issue that has to do with islam or muslims on NL and tell me if they are not laced with hatred, mockery, disrespect and bigotry.

BusinessRe: Did The Attitude Of People Towards You Change When You Became Rich? by DesignMaestro(m): 3:15am On Aug 18, 2021
Most of the compliments, respect, honour and attachment are insincere. You just need to be careful because you now have far more enemies than when you were broke and the worst thing is that most of these enemies now disguise as 'friends'.

The way most Nigerians especially the women attach themselves so much to every little material success irritates me a lot. Why looking down on people because they look poor to you? People will easily snub you even if you are very rich but they didn't know you and you aren't looking flamboyant.

As a broke guy, you'll face a lot of humiliations. Relatives will snub you, friends that have become well off will distance themselves from you. In some cases, even parents will show more respect to your younger siblings that are doing well financially than you.

But, the irony is this, you are going to have true friends and open enemies as a poor man. Meanwhile, you make more fake friends and masked enemies when your fortune improves.
