Firstly before starten had to update my battery firmware

The Victron 450/100 was bought before to check the capabilities and how fast it tracks, i must say i was am seriously impressed

had to plan before hand to included all toys

now started mounting the bluewall

The blue inverters are seriously heavy had to do the needful and re-enforced the the holding bay and also use backboard that will carry the weight

Had to totally revamped my solar installation completely went Blue even thou i am not a Chelsea Fan.

No I have Fangpusun CC (the outback clone) in my guest house it doesn't behave that way but it takes some time for the CC to move from charged to Float then absorb/bulk charging unlike the Victron.

So basically I want to be sure that the inbuilt MPPT CC of a Growatt is OK or I should go for an external Victron CC.
Please I need user experience on this

Iam using the New Victron 450/100 it is a fantastic CC and so wonderful when you hook it up with the Cerbo Gx. goes to sleep completely around 7Pm without drawing any current and wakes up around 6:15 in the morning because of this i am completely to team Blue, have gotten 2 Multiplus II 5000VA and changing all my gears to victron and untop as the icing on the cake the VRM can be assesed anywhere in the world. Will be showcasing the build when i start

So from the 8kw array you got 3kw hervest on cloudy day.....not bad.

The max still has the float bug unfortunately.....one of the reasons I went Deye. Since you are using pylon I guess you should be good.

No only had one mppt filled right now the other 4000w will be done soon

I am going all out installing 8ooow of panels so that my pylontechs can be in a short while be filled and also started my homeassistant Journey to smarten up the whole process to automate everything

Cofiguration still ongoing but had a peak of 3075w with overcast weather even with the bad weather pics will follow

Did the battery BMS kabel for the Pylontech batteries myself was finally able to have success the inverter now communicates and dictates the Charge Algorithm for the batteries themselves was also using my old cable to the raspberry pi, upgrade the pi from 3b to raspberry 4
upgraded my ICC software to ICM latest software which is working wonderfully with a little bit of hiccups

The PIP8048MAX Inverter Charger has the following attrbutes
1:- 8Kw permanent output
2:- 16Kw Surge
3:- 2 MPPT inputs each with 4000W array panels
5:-MPPT voltage range is between 90vdc- 450vdc
6:-start up Voltage is 80Vdc
7:- RGB lights that u can use for different purpose

Re-arrange the Wiring did the seperation of 3s to accomodate the different Voc, mounted the inverter the lastest offgrid 8Kw MPP inverter

the rails were 4 sets of complete rails (cost the earth)

Brought down my whole panels for re- arrangement and had to buy mount rails for the whole Panels
