Ufeolorun: There's no need for the highlighted because what i said earlier (ajejapo saya) just encapsulated the whole situation :excessive greed,so don't take this discussion too personal.Your question has already been answered moreover democracy and franchise exist where people come together to make decision on an issue, within wider Yoruba context like i said earlier, who becomes Iyaloja is within the purview of market people and their representatives and that's democracy in its local form.Thank you! Excellent rebuttal!! |
django1: Ehm, desola, ibi ti a ba fi elemosho sho lo ma n sho oo, ma gba rakatia e wa ba wa ni'badan o.Lol...mo toro gafara, amo iwo ma ba awon Shobole yoke ilu e soro! |
Sincere 9gerian: So you can still post comments while on life support machine? Anyway, now that your last-ditch effort to remain relevant has failed, what next? The koko of the matter is when is the pay packet dropping? Leave all that plenty, plenty English jo! |
slimghost: Bia this mad woman, kindly write in English.Mi o gbo Oyinbo , asinwin. I |
ckkris: The Tchief of Lagos has trillions of naira, him never settle you?No o, because I never do the roll call of sycophants like your oga is doing. |
slimghost: Respect to Pukka,Texas cowgirl,Desola and Kats. The truth should not be suffocated.E se, e ku oro enu, asokale ete |
igbo boy: How dare you rain Slander on the Great Emeperor of SW? You see Dayokanu, eko ile and the whole ACN foot soldiers are not complaining only efulefu like you is complaining.Hahaha omo nna to n ko Fuji. If den born you well, send me to akure. Na machine gun I go take scatter allof una go back una filage. Slander ko, libel ni. |
lineal: You are not from Lagos.Ok, you're right. |
Ogbeche77: Report has it that customers who visited shoprite on it first day of opening in ibadan were over 102,000, but they recorded just N35,000 saleLol |
All these yeye iragbiji and Ibadan citizens coming to talk rubbish putting their yeye mouth in Lagos' business sef. |
dayokanu: Since its the decision of the Oba of Lagos who no one can questionIt would have come as a shock if you hadn't! No be you again? Pshew! |
bloggernaija: Where did you pull that bullshit* fromFrom his 4rse, obviously! |
lineal: You are not from Lagos. No, I'm from iseyin. Akuri! |
Akanbi_edu: You have not answered my question. The reason I asked was to ascertain you people knew what you were talking about but alas seems emotions have taken a better part of your reasoning. What is Iyaloja-general of Nigeria? What does it represent? You talked about democracy and I told you the position is not based on democracy, now you come with this.kini simpleton, dagini doro yi n so na? bobo yi yara e n'brain men! If human brain is scarce borrow one from an ileya goat men...! |
Docii001: Ahan aunty, kole to yen!awon egbon e loko yin lon wa frustrated. Elenu yoboyobo. |
Pukkah: The woman in question is an adult and there's no doubt about that. You say it well and very well exampled by the emboldened. If we can make firm presumption that jonathan has a hand in jang becoming the "chairman" of the governor's forum, why is it so difficult to accept that Tinubu must be an influencing factor or the "influencer" in making his own daughter the iyaloja? Why are evil perpetrated readily acceptable when it comes to gej but not where tinubu is concerned? You see absolute power corrupts absolutely! Tinubu is clearly divorced from reality and has failed to maintain constant watch of people's pulse. It is clear now that he lives in the same bubble as Jonathan. But we will help him burst that bubble. |
Demdem: its easier to secure the top position than to maintain it. Killers, murderers etc are everywhere trying to bring u down and secure ur post. Its the foolish that will allow such to happen. All avenues must be secured in making sure no loophole is allowed for them to penetrate because they arent resting either. No to PDP! No to ACN!!! No to all you forkers whose primary aim is to bring down the country! No to sycophants! No to evil people like you!!! |
Joarams: Tell them... Politics is not the business for "saints". I wonder why many people remain in that dream of Ideal types. It might not be for saints but as long as leaders are elected through the votes of the populace, we will show you who the faint hearteds are. You are all so stup1d for insulting the intellect of the Yoruba people! |
Demdem: and how will this chieftancy title push the people to the edge? what percentage of lagosians even care about who becomes iyaloja when poverty is still ravaging the land?Really? So you're saying that the Yoruba people in Lagos are so fixated on poverty that they do not see the nepotism going on and come election time it would not have any bearing in their decision making? Yet in the same tone, you say the SW is enlightened and vastly intellectual? You are not bright! The SW is clever when it suits you but when it comes to Tinubu we are fools and would only do as we are told because we are too hungry to think? Oloun gbo! O go! O go o fenu hora! |
Joarams: Ok. My apologies. I was trying to slow down your extrapolation from "Iyaloja issues" to the ACN and the entire politics in Lagos.I really cannot divorce the two because the imposition of Tinubu's daughter on the oba shows the greed in Tinubu and that alone would make voters become weary of the man and the length he would go to in acquiring power. Truly, when you look around you, you see his family members in influential positions in Lagos. Once our psyche is awakened, we start to resent him and some of us for the dislike we harbour for jonathan would decide not to vote at all during the election because we cannot choose between two evils. staying at home would make victory easier for jonathan. Tinubu needs to stop this nonsense now. His greed is gonna be instrumental in his downfall, you watch. |
Katsumoto: HahahaThose ones that have been totally blinded by religion and believe in being sub servient to their monarch. Those ones are closer to Northern almajiris than the enlightened cosmopolitan Yorubas in Lagos. For lagos, we know book and we get sense! Tinubu does not give us amala nor does he pays anyone's school fees. We will resist him! |
Joarams: Calm down Desola, so that you can sort the issues objectively. Since when did that position become open to the general public to contest in or have a say. This title has little or nothing to do with the ACN or its politics. The Iyaloja title is very cultural...ask the Oba of Lagos. You are talking at me, not to me. |
Katsumoto: This is a wrong move that may backfire on Tinubu on more than one level.oti tan! Final say niyen! |
davidflo: silenceRIP |
davidflo: and u call urself yoruba? omo ale jatijati ni e... even ur father cannot call oba of lagos 'yeye'..na forum give u this kind audacity....so ASHAMED of this woman.awon onirase. Won ti fi breadi ko yin lomi obe tan. Sexy oloriburuku, I don't blame you now, no be your sister, the iyaloja of apapa you dey take chop for your family? I am not hating ojare, you have to protect your avenue of chopulation. I am not hating your hustle ojare. |
tbanger: Don't mind the woman. It's envious she has never been schooled on intellectual dialogue. Always behaving like a village tyrant.Emi CEO fun ra mi. O baje gan o. Next time, you append CEO before Village tyrant, so gbo. 'obvious' ni were fe so to ni 'envious'. Clearly you have not been schooled in the art of constructing grammatically correct sentences and accurate spelling of words. mumu. |
Demdem: Give us instances. SPECIFIC instances especially before this latest decision of his that suggest that Fashola meddles in the affairs of the Oba especially within his kingdom? What, you think you're talking to one of your ibo opponents? What stup1d question! |
Sam xiu lee: Oga,please if you have access to the former governor, tell him that he can not be right all the time,he is only human, even if the oba confer the title on the lady without his influence, can't they(tinubu and his daughter)reject the title and look for someone else?for the fact that he introduced BRF to us and he is performing doesn't mean others are,you guys should learn from history, adedibu does not have any legacy in oyo state again because he did the same thing tinubu is doing right now.please tell him oooooooo,we just don't take nonsense here in lagos,no amount of NURTW thugs will scare the people of lagos into submission.kilode gan na?is doing the right thing so difficult?Exactly! Tell them! They have started shooting themselves in the foot before 2015. Jonathan should be happy. |
Demdem: ooo i see. here lies the problem. That it is final does not make it right and what yeye oba takes instruction from a politician? That one na figure head oba jo! |
take dat: Ma, did you not notice that my first post was inconclusive before you quoted it? I do not sing to any politician for supper nor am I beholden to anyone. I still insist that conferment of such title is the Oba's exclusive preserve. You can curse Tinubu but have the decency to leave the Oba out. You may be uncomfortable with his decision but so long he wears d crown accord him some respect. Except you are only interested in the number of likes from non Yorubas, you'll know that we don't denigrate our obas outsideWhen you cannot distinguish an oba from the state nko? Likes? From ibos? You think I really care about likes or have ever sought for likes on this forum? Omo, o mo, meme! I no send o. I love my Yoruba heritage but I am not blinded by that love. The only way we can progress as Yorubas is for us to tell each other eyi to je ododo oro. I will not relent in saying the truth just because I want to save face or because I do not want my enemies to laugh at me. If something is wrong, I would shout it from the roof tops. I am not a sycophant. |
Eko Ile: Well said.Yes o, we see tinubu in our nightmares! |
