BankManager: Hi guys ..When applying for masters in Germany, do I need to attach a copy of my international passport among the documents to submitted online and by post? Hello! It's okay to attach your international passport to your application. If it's obligatory, then you must definitely add it. If it's optional, there's no harm adding it. |

Champion100: I'm telling you! It's so amazing.... They are going vice versa. Anyways they are better than us. If someone with 3.0 in Nigeria can comfortably be admitted in the almighty DE whereas this fake country with their stupid schools are asking for 3.5.
DE then should have been asking for 4.0 which is around 1.75. May God intervene in the education system in Nigeria only frustrating students Abi ooo. It's well. Success in our applications |

Champion100: This means that having 3.0 in Nigeria is so great.
That's cool. They are better than Nigeria that accepts 3.5 for MS while your graduated school may consider your 3.0. But 2.5 and above in Nigeria are for post-graduates studies. Wait ohhhh.. Their grading in Germany is from 1-4. 1 is the best while 4 is the worst. So if you have 1.8 and someone else has 2.1, you're more likely to be admitted ahead of the other person based on CGPA.. 2.5 in Nigeria is 2.8 in Germany 3.0 in Nigeria is 2.5 in Germany So, in Germany, the smaller the number, the stronger the CGPA |

Champion100: Please do I have to email them to know their grade requirement because it was not stated amongst other requirements ? If it is not stated on the school's website, you can mail them to ask. There's no harm there. |

Rexceedo: Seems many Germany applicant here are MSC.
Want to apply for a Bachelor Degree...
Been into business after my WASSCE... Since 2012 precise.
I am making much findings...
I have the block account money.
Do they accept WAEC directly into Universities? There are a number of bachelor applicants here too. Your waec alone is not sufficient to apply for a Bachelor degree. You'll need either HND or transcript of completed 100Level in a university in addition to your waec. |

But I think scholarship application that will open this year is for next year admission. Except your school of choice is offering scholarship alongside the normal admission process. |

keleto: Thanks great men for the quick response, I have actually contacted my school in South Africa where i did my degree.(i submitted two hard copies then somhow somhow,) to get one copy back but to no avail; Now i believe i can make do with the soft copy. I thought i would need to submit hard copy
Thanks for the information @bolded, I never knew you had the soft copy oh. Just print out the abstract and conclusion. Attach it to your application documents. That's all. You'll be fine.. no need to retrieve hard copies from your school anymore |

keleto: Is it a must for someone to present a copy of undergraduate project when applying for masters. I be lost copy of my project work It's not a must if it's not requested for. But I feel you should normally add it to your application, especially if you're applying for a course related to what you did. It gives more clarity on what you've done and how it can be relevant to what you're applying for. However, you'll only need to send the abstract and conclusion. No need for the rest. About your lost project, I want to assume that it's the hard copy you lost. Try to approach your department and see if you'll be allowed access to the one you submitted to them (of course, you should be allowed access since it's your work). From there, you can make a photocopy of your work and keep the copy. To prevent issues like this later on, always ensure that you have soft copies of every important document you have. You can do this by scanning them into PDF(Camscanner app can do that for you perfectly), and uploading to Google Drive. It's gonna be there forever Success in your application bro. |

Eldeee: Calm down bro, nobody is above mistake. I will suggest you send a mail to the programme coordinator, explaining your ordeals in a clear concise good English. Tell him or her you can get a scanned copy of the omitted document in PDF sent through email. If accepted, quickly send it asap.
Hope this helps. All the very best Exactly what I was about to say. |

Meddyakki: Good day house... please I need to confirm if Nigeria's 6unit for project and seminar equivalent to 10ects in Germany. please I need clarification That thing bothers me too.. cos since most people multiply unit by 1.5 to convert to ECTS, our 6 unit project will give 9ECTS. But then, so far we completed a Bachelor thesis, there shouldn't be any problem. |

lovable85: This is just an illustration, yeah you are right no school has fail as a grade my school doesn’t even have pass below 1.5 is assumed to be fail, 1.5-1.99 being third class, I made the mistake of assuming 1.0 to be the minimum passing grade, only to check my transcripts to see 1.5 Okay sis. Thanks for the clarification |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Deustchemann(m): 12:45am On Feb 15, 2019 |
lovable85: Sometimes it could be 1.5, check your transcripts For example if it says 4.5-5.0 first class 3.50-4.49 second class upper 2.00- 3.49 second class lower 1.5-1.99 pass 1.0-1.49 fail Then 5.0 is the maximum passing grade and 1.5 is the minimum passing grade So look at where the pass starts on your transcripts that is the minimum passing grade You're right tho. my school uses 4.5-5.00- first class 3.5-4.49- second class upper 2.4-3.49- second class lower 1.5-2.39- Third class 1.00-1.49- pass For my school, 5.00 is maximum, 1.00 is minimum.. I don't think your school should have "fail" as a grade . |
