Honda 2001 to 2002 has immobilizer installed in them and the key is coded. Is this feature easily breached when an attempt to steal them occurs? The Camry I know doesn't have this security feature.

Wat if I tell u av not seen a Camry without the key coded.
there is no car that can't be stolen, no car's security system can't be bypassed by Diz guys. what they consider is the market value and how fast they can sell the car.
car dealers in the house can b of witness, a Camry pencil and a Peugeot 406 or MB C klass ask which would dey sell quickly.

Also, people buying this corrola 2003-2006/7 model, Pls be more careful the rate at which this car sales is moving, attention will soon shift from Camry to it.

cne010:
This is a very interesting comparison, one thing is obvious you want a good V8 luxury suv. Sadly I would recommend the Lexus GX 470. Here are my reasons.

1. Being a Benz fan the GL450 is one of the most expensive benz to repair and believe the model year you're going phone tops the food chain as being very problematic with expensive repairs. The Shocks can set up back 200k for just one it uses the Airmatic suspension.

2. Range Rover Vogue nice car but you're going for wrong year again, from 2007 would be a better option cos the year you are interested in has the dreaded bmw 4.4 litre engine. The is expensive to run not like the GL450. If you chose the Range contact Sooperrescue and he help with parts and repair if you're in Lagos.

3. Lexus the luxury arm of the reliable toyota would definitely be reliable and cheap to maintain except from those with rear Air suspension which can be converted to spring. I have driven this particular SUV it has a good ground clearance, nice interior a few weeks toys to play with.

If I had your kind of budget I would buy the 2007 ML 500 with spring suspension end of discussion.

Thanks bro. So the engine size of 1.8l should be better than the one of 1.6l right ?

not really, it's kind of relative when you say beta, for instance 1.8l has more power compared to d 1.6l bt more fuel will be needed.
if I were in ur shoes, would go for the 1.8l

TheRealGEJ:

Thanks a lot for the advice. Should I stick with the v6 or V4 engine.

if u r sticking with corrola, I don't think corrola has a V6 engine variant in all its models.
rather engine sizes 1.6l, 1.8l etc

bt corrola will work magic for u o

why is it DAT the speedometer is the 1st thing women look at when they wake from sleep?

The Honda EOD is one of the top stock sleepers u should never mess with. Got a little bit of everything, comfortable, stable, economical, fast. Been driving mine for 3 years now. Accords arebgeberally like that, even the 2008-2012 model is an improvement.

thé 2008-2012 is my choice any day any time, (the V6 though), the car has got all and even more what benzmatic said.

And so?
In North America and Europe people still drives 1970s cars with pride and you as a mechanic (enlightened Kazeem) condemn people buying 1992 - 1997 cars, the toks you see in the market where do you think they were shipped from, Mars I guess?

mr, i get where you are viewing this from
let's be realistic how much is the toks if such cars u mentioned that she should go for the Nigeria used. You are a car dealer, why do you think we buy cars from abroad(used) its because their roads and auto policy and law are strictly complied to. I can imagine a naija used halla what it will have been through, but at that price its too much. and for a woman RUN.

its possible you get a better car @ 300k, my pencil I don't think I can sell higher than that.... am not after profit I want to upgrade is why I might want to sell.

OP you might be lucky to see someone who just wants to give away.

lastly mr, if the OP is female, she would want a car with AC, clean body, car she will be respected in....... you know such c cars @ that price is rear. but for a hustler, even 150 I will get a car.

ok, thanks for your input boss, will surely test it out. Was told the car has been in use for 3 years so I don't know if there are any concerns that'd arise with the age or if that means it is safe at this point.
Thanks though.

RX is not a small car o, the credibility of the conversion here is what you should consider,
if I were you my bro, I would rather wait a little while save up more money to buy the one not converted.
BT if you get a good mechanic and certifies the car, go for it, its clean and fairly cheap
Car Talk / Re: Advice Needed On The Infinity Fx35 by DGD1(m): 2:50pm On Jun 19, 2015
nurey:
hmm, my broda where do we start from Ok let's take it from here, a luxury vehicle isn't easy to maintain when it has exceeded it's warranty phase so have that in mind.

the major issue with the Fx35 experienced generally is the dash board cracking.

now b4 u buy that Nigerian used you need to go there with a mechanic (professional) and trusted, and also try scan that vehicle, the infiniti is a mild fuel guzzler but with serious issues, it would be a fuel zapper.

I will also advice you hang on to that accord if you can for atleast 3months incase you decide to change your mind for one reason or the other.

coming from an accord 2007 I know how expensive and what care that car needs to keep it in top shape so I believe switching to well maintained Nigerian used Fx35 would be like switching from BIRO to PEN.

you have said it all,
in summary, they are worlds apart but good value for money. my fear for you is that the car is Nigeria used *shine your eyes well o*
