pato405:I think he should change the body of the car |
might be a case of a blown out brake light, have someone look @ it while you press the brake. if not that, you can check the brake oil level, I guess that should be the 1st you should have done before coming too nairaland. pls, don't drive your car in that condition, save your life and others. Nairaland mods won't ever push this type of post to front page, but when a car is involved in an accident it will make front page, den dey will include *graphic pictures * @OP, Accident is not your portion, but the Amen or Ameen to dat prayer is in your hands |
adeniyisavage:I beg to differ |
this is #dope nice one, feeling you bruh time and money spent was worth it happy jolly spin |
it is usually used for cars who have different plant assembly. Eg toyota, Honda etc A corrola / camry/ accord produced in japan has little difference with the one produced in the US and Europe |
in a sane society, ambulance, police, school bus then VIP but here in nigeria, VIP, police, school bus and ambulance will hit each other then start fighting over who has right of way |
lonelydora:shagati 's post was baed. imagine! |
best thing to do is to return the car and get refund of your money. I've seen cases like this....there is more to this car that you don't know, else you will just be regretting the deal for a loooooong time. if you can only get 200k,dash the owner the rest. come to think of it, corolla that is hot cake now, u are buying @ 700k, you gave the owner 300k and he asked you to take the car! something is wrong somewhere, #my2cents bt as we no see dollar spend #my2kobo |
Absoj:what is this one saying now? you guys are getting over delusional with your hatred for toyota. you can be comparing both cars 5 or 6yrs ago, but now the toyota killed the accord. have you ever wondered why the tokunbo and naija used of camry costs more than the accord? the accord that were used then, where are they today? you say the camry is bland, what aesthetic appeal does that accord have that you can't find in camry. when it comes to the latter model (EOD and big daddy) the accord is more appealing. OP, let me advice you from personal experience, I bought my camry (1999) over 5yrs ago, it's still running and travels every now and then, I've never opened the engine before, everything running stock. have friends who bought this accord, but most disposed it at ridiculous prices. moreover, the amount I bought mine then is still the same they sell it today. caar you say that about the accord? |
SmartChoices:aaye o! easy bro, small small naa Wednesday morning fa! |
what is this one saying now? ordinary Dasuki gave his bitch $2m, which of those cars cost upto that? stellar bought BMW cost to the average amount this cars are sold. Go to lagos, abuja and some other cities where you see men driving badass rides costing millions of naira in their hundreds. don't be fooled because those cars are so common don't mean they are cheap. a government official envoy contains several Prado and landcruisers the least of them cost as well as 20m. National cake in nigeria is just too big |
Face12:the 4runner is suitable then. the fuel consumption is Ok for a 2002 3.4L v6 the tyres would cost you @ 25k for one that's 100k minimum. normal servicing. just check your ball joints frequently, some have the complain but have not experienced it before. |
please go for the corrola. I've used that particular 4runner (sports edition), till today no major repair save servicing and minor suspension parts. bt I still feel it's not right for you (if it's just 4 the effizy), but if the road to your house/work (where you ply offten) is bad, or you need to haul heavy/bulky stuffs then it's perfect |
Denn:if toyota were a nigerian company or if they had a nigerian in there board of directors, they won't ever think of stopping production of this pencil light. imagine the most recent of that car is about 15yrs old and such car still rocking over 1M with ever increasing demand |
nice job Mr denn, I would suggest you broaden your case study, don't limit your research or solution to pencil alone. For example theft of this 2003-2006 corrola is on the rise. more people will benefit doing so. eku ise |
if u think pushing this to front page will give yuh desired answers, yuh are on a long thing. details as denn said earlier, people might give possible suggestions. bt tvs service centers plenty around |
loools, d girl bad o |
Toyota corrola 1986 |
latest model naa u can't compare 07 to 2011 dats difference of abt 4yrs. mind yuh, the recent he better |
tonychristopher:here comes my good friend in the cartalk section. you know the manual would be very handy before trying anything on a new machinery you are not familiar with. because we have different types and engine designs, their plug location, system of oil drain etc are different. haven't seen any of your posts of recent. happy new year bro |
greatnow:you guys are funny, always finding a way to defend incompetence. I am a graduate of engineering(not mechanical) from a reputable federal university of technology, we took courses in elementary aspects of mechanical engineering upto 400l. since when did draining oil and changing of plugs require ones specialization in automobile option in mechanical engineering. |
oforij:one sensible quote after numerous mentions. just a word of advice to your brother, he should have open mind to learn abt new technologies so as not to go *old skol*. O'level who can read and write won't find it difficult to comprehend....... wish him luck cheers |
seriously! guess we all forget the efforts of this guys to keep our cars on the road. most are not educated but within a moment they fix what a graduate of Harvard and the likes couple to call a car. how many of our so called mechanical engineering graduates can drain the oil off a car, some can't tell the size of a bolt by mere looking or feeling, bt with our *nigerian mechanic * you can't do freedom without knowing it I can go on and on they are not as bad as we portray them to be, because if they are, we would always ship our carss back abroad to change plugs, drain oil, and do some simple things |
chukel:my exact thought, who compares a camry to the avalon. Op, it depends on what you want from your car |
this is interesting! so your car engine is (1.8 + 2.0)/2 = 1.9litre engine sienna Gazzuzz kingreign nurey denn carblognaija honmusa Bossforeva ikenna (no mind you're a peugeot specialist) specialist900 mayor2013 pls y'all should help diz bro |
how I wished this politicians could be given such beating, imagine just 200k. this politicians steal and loot hundreds of millions in dollars. |
peterjero:I just wonder what planet OP is from. with all the awareness about this scam you are still giving it a second thought. awof dey run belle o. greediness willl do us more harm than good, how do u expect too buy a 3million naira car for 400 thousand¿ |
am a proud user of one, just can't get enough of it. good job Mr denn |
kingreign:Oga mike, leave the bro naa, just let it go |
Philadelphia:welcome on board! I pray men of the underworld won't set eyes on it. cheers bro |
Philadelphia:it's @ ur dealers table. just get yourself the camry, then you are good to go. camry's fuel economy is great, I use two models; pencil (generation before yours) and muscle (generation after yours). |
don't mind nurey, kingreign, diportivo and the likes. just on your phone, go to www. olx dot com dot ng type rx350 in the search box, you might be lucky to even get aat 600k, you can also buy a 2012 camry @ 500k. den use the 100k change for registration and celebration. try that @ ur peril |
