What is Godly about death? That people can sense their death is no proof. Twice I've had personal experiences. Something once happened to me and I could sense I'm dying but I fought back because I didn't want to die. Another time I went into a coma. That day when I woke up I knew something was going to happen and even when I was in my coma I knew I was going to wake up and I did. I was perfectly health with no brain injury even though I had hit my head hard. When I'm about to have my periods I know a full week ahead and I can even predict them right down to the hour. Trust me there's nothing Godly about that it just means I'm in tune with my body and myself.

The Big Bang theory proposes that the earth was one mass (as your christian bible also proposes) this mass expanded and expanded over billions of years (as opposed to 7 days) till finally it erupted. To simplify for you, think of microwave popcorn. You put the bag in the microwave and the heat does its magic the bag expands as the kernels heat up and explode. Now just image that bag bursting and the contents inside spilling over. Remember heat and cold create moisture and condensation, moisture and condensation is water and water is the source of life and it fertilizes. This is a very simplified explanation. Empirical science does not require things to be tested in a lab only. The galaxy was never tested in the lab. It baffles the mind how one can be steadfast on something that in the claimed billions of years the earth has been existed has never once been proven. How hard can it be? If one can claim the existence of something cannot be observed what's to stop us from believing that there's life in other planets but we humans are too inferior to see them? People who claim mermaids, aliens, jinns, fairies etc exist are then correct too if all it takes for something to exist is belief and faith. What applies to one must apply to all.

Uhm... OP your titles says Scientific Proof That God Exists... You do know that for something to qualify as scientific proof there has to be empirical evidence right? And you do know empirical evidence is obtained either by observation or experiment, right? Regardless, your argument fails because:

1) Yes we can observe the universe but that does not logically conclude that God exists. That is a no more reasonable jump to conclusion than me deciding that leprechauns exist and therefore they created the world or that the colour green exists and leprechauns are green therefore they created the colour green.
2) You and your article claim your assertions are scientific proof. May I remind you that for something to be accepted as scientific proof ceteris parabus (all things remaining true) the results and laws should remain the same NO EXCEPTIONS by stating God is different and that the cause requirement is not required begs for your argument to be dismissed.
3) Christians love forgetting the following facts:
A) the bible was put together at the bequest of a pagan emperor who was never Christian
B) at the "time of Jesus" there many people born of virgins (a phenomenon which can be explained by simple biology by the way - if a virgin has thigh sex and the man spills close to her entrance sperm can swim in and make its way to her uterus (scientific law that remains constant) meaning Joseph and Mary weren't so saintly after all oopsie!)
C) christianity is confused and contradicts itself at every corner, for example, it is said that God hates pride yet Jesus who is the son of God but is God himself (like ... okay ...) during the 40 days in the desert gets down on His knees and prays to Himself (God) and asks Himself (God) why He has forsaken Himself - sounds like the ramblings of a crazy confused man to me... And is worshiping yourself not pride
D) christianity makes the most ridiculous claims such as:

So God inspires people to perpetuate hate against others (other religions, gays, women, blacks)? He inspires others to be called superior (the so called holy people) and others inferior (those like me) and He says this is righteous? And this is meant to be a "righteous, loving, caring, forgiving and understanding" God?

Let us not forget that these scriptures have been changed a number of times over the centuries not only that they have no backing. All they are, are someone's word. It is one thing for Adam, for example, to write his story and another for someone to write about Adam 3000 years later - someone he's never met mind you - and expect us to believe he knows what went on even though there is no proof or documentation he can base his assertions on.

I'm willing to listen and accept even experiential truth if need be. For example, people who believe in ancestors I accept their beliefs and assertions because they can back up their claims and do not rely on hearsay from someone who died thousands of years ago who wrote about someone who died thousands of years before him. If ancestors can show their faces and punish those who practice evil or misuse them then why can't "Great I Am"? He is supposed to be the greatest isn't he, yet He fails and relies on faith I'm not trying to be difficult nor am I trying to prove God doesn't exist I just want to understand and need some kind of proof hence I'm willing to accept personal experiences.

Bible scriptures are words by men that is why I asked not to be quoted scriptures. The bible/torah/quran or whatever did not fall from the sky, many men with selfish, self-serving purposes sat down and wrote the "holy word" with intentions to perpetrate hate against certain peoples and gain power and fame for themselves.

My question is genuine. I really want to know if God really exist. I don't have faith which is why I don't want blind faith answers. I need genuine, concrete proof and I'm willing to listen.

While I don't agree that creation is proof (science has it's own theories) I certainly do respect your opinion and I accept it as proof for you 100% but I just have one question: Everything you say is true but don't you think that the concept of God was created so that people can have an answer for the wonder that is our world? I mean most of those miracles in the bible can answered by simple logic. For example, Sodom and Gomora - a simple volcanic eruption may have just happened. And come on - a talking snake? I understand the point your joke is attempting to make but it's argument falls flat because:
1) Yes that one man has uncut hair but many more have cut hair (concrete proof barber's exist)
2) Many people do go to God. For example the people who died at TB Joshua's church. They went to God and what did they get in return? Death. Not only that they couldn't even get the decency of proper burials.
3) You failed to give me at least one example of concrete proof. In your joke too the man failed to give an example of proof while the barber could give many what the man chose to do instead was to attack the barber personally which is something I've noticed christians love doing. Surely if God did exist it would be easy to prove and one wouldn't have to resort to attacking people, cursing them and damning them to hell?

So guys I was minding my own business when I suddenly received a message from Mr Man wishing me all kinds of blessings for 2015. I was shocked (and excited) because I literally haven't seen or spoke to him since Sept and remember when I fake called him he "didn't know" who was calling so I am surprised he had my number after all. Anyway, I replied: "thank you same to you" because I thought he was being polite with his blessing. He surprised me again but starting a conversation and using blushing and smiling faces in his text messages. So what is your guys' take? Do I have a shot at a 4th chance or was he just being polite or maybe he's back because he just wants someone to waste time with till he finds a new girlfriend? Bear in mind he once told me I always stress him out (lol) if that's the case would he still come back just to use me if he knows I'm going to stress him out?

Your marriage is barely one year old. You made those vows for-better-for-worse. What you're going through is a bumpy phase. You don't just throw in the trowel at the first hurdle.

Man up and face your responsibilities and quit trying so hard to force yourself on her. It's not your place to tear down her clothes, butt pads or not, simply because you don't like them. By doing so, you've lowered yourself in her eyes, hence her fighting you back in retaliation.

Rather than dwell on the negatives of your marriage, try to see the positives - afterall, you must have seen something in her for you to have married her in the first place. My marriage is just 1 year and few days old,but within the last 365 days,I have seen torment and hell on daily basis. We dated for 2 years before tying the knot,she's a nice person,but her mouth is destructive,she has this overbearing attitude,always trying to control me or dictate the pace,and can keep malice,anger and record of evil done to her for a long time. Please Nairalanders, I will like to know if it is wrong or out of place for a working class married lady to assist her husband in paying some bills or buying some foodstuffs at home. Because,anytime she assists in doing anything,she will record it and consequently use that to abuse and insult me whenever we have misunderstanding and or exchange of words.

After our traditional marriage on December 2013,I had some financial challenges,and then my rent was due for renewable,she offered to assist,at first I was skeptical about it ,because I know her kind of person,knowing full well that she will use that to ridicule and abuse me in no distant time. But,then,I didn't have any alternative,so I allowed her pay d rent. Now,she's claiming ownership,saying ..."which house,the one that I have been paying the rent or another one"...

She has done a lot of character assassination & damages to my personality before some of her relatives & family members(Her father and two sisters),thus they all support her & no longer regard me as anybody.

Few months into our marriage,she started wearing butt pads, I told her to stop ,because I don't like the stuff,but she flared up and we had exchange of words. She told me that she has to look good to outsiders.

Throughout her pregnancy period,she wore the butt pads on daily basis even at home,I allowed her because of her condition,even though it looked disgusting on her. After she put to bed,and few days later, I told her to quit wearing that stuff, but she refused,then I seized it,she started ranting to the hearing of everyone at home & neighbors that I have taken her padded pants(aka butt pad) to native doctor. I just ignored her. Few days later, she bought another set.

On Xmas day(2014),she dressed up & wore the butt pads again,I told her to remove it ,but she refused,then i tried forcing her to do so,and that resulted to a serious fight. She tore my already ironed clothes to pieces(an expensive Indian attire I bought when I travelled to India),I tore hers too and forced the butt pads out from her body.

Hell was let loose that day,because she called her sisters,they came to my house and created a very nasty scene in my neighborhood,they insulted,ridiculed me and made a mockery of me,her elder sister who is a police officer threatened to deal with me,she was talking and hitting her hands on the ground saying that,they are going to teach me some bitter lessons in this town. I tried to respond but my Mum,who's on child's visit(Omugwo) asked me to hold my peace. It wasn't easy though,they also insulted her too.

Since that day till date,my wife doesn't talk to me. The only thing that connects us now is the new born baby.

Her words have actually killed me psychologically, emotionally etc, to the extent that sometimes, I loose consciousness of my surrounding while driving to and fro from work , I will be lost in thought, and on a particular occasion nearly rammed another moving vehicle,if not for the speed bumps on the road that awaken my consciousness.


Her words:"if you are still regarding me as your wife,then you wasting your time". Its obvious she wants a divorce because to her,she's still very young(28 years),and can easily move on. She doesn't give a damn.

She has also repeated that same threat of killing me,these days ,the number of calls entering her phone is amazing,most times,she goes far from the house to answer those calls.

Your wife is psycho crazy and so is her family. Leave her now!!! No one should stand for abuse man or woman! Just don't let this experience make you bitter or change your view of women. Take it as a lesson learned on warning signs and what kind of woman you should be on the look out for. Your wife is broken but it's not your duty to fix her. We all have a responsibility to ourselves. You can't fix or change someone only they can do it. Your only duty is to protect and take care of you. Taking her for counseling won't help and will be a waste of time and money. It has to be something that comes from her for it to work therefore SHE needs to take herself for counseling. And tell her your are only willing to deal with her once she has dealt with her issues.

Very unfair case and very sad for her but if I were her I'd be happy knowing that at least that *%$&*#%$ is dead and died painfully. That would make my nights in jail smoother.
