Tobrasky: What a daft thing to say, the constitution clearly gives every Nigerian the right to live in any part of the country, and Yorubas last time I checked are still part of the Federation. So stop acting like you are doing anybody a favor cause other Nigerians stay in your region, I'm a PH boy and your people flood my state and region like flies on fecal matter too, nobody is doing no one a favor in Nigeria as long as you're a law abiding tax paying citizen in any part of the country you reside. Last time I also checked, Igbos didn't put a gun to your heads and force you to sell lands and other landed properties to them in the areas they dominate, they do their business and pay their taxes...I don't see all these energy and noise for Fulani herdsmen that are forcefully building clandestine communities all over your region, at least going by latest reports. Hope you are not hungry? Your response has nothing to do with my post you quote, I don't know who is arguing with you concerning the rubbish you put up there. |

middlebelter: Always looking for a way to fight the Yorubas, the tribe that has been most hospitable to your people in this country. When you repay love with hate, check it out from history it has consequences. You can say this again |

Nowenuse: Yorubas were the ones who insulted me first on this thread and I have proven it.
So I have no business with Yorubas.
I wouldn't have joined this thread if not that you Yorubas & Hausa fulanis were telling blatant lies which affects my people.
Open any thread and tell a lie which affects me and I would be there, only that I may not be having all time always. Before this thread I've seen some of your anti Yoruba posts on this forum so all you've done here is no surprise to me. The only suprise I've had so far reading your posts is when you said many of your people share same view with you about my tribe. That statement alone is an eye opener to me, cos I can't believe that my tribe is not in the good book of a group of people I'm always hoping and praying that someday God would liberate them from the snare of fowler of the barbaric fulani herdmen killing them in their ancestral land. Not saying this for your aproval or whatever but I once shed tears for your people when I saw gory pics of their corps, how can such group of people now be hating on my people when there had never been any known conflict between us.I only hope that what we get to read about our respective tribes won't turn us to heartless human beings, what we write on here have consequences that go beyond internet. About the secession group you said you are planing to float by next year I realy hope you stick by your words so that some of us who read your posts would know that you are not an empty vessel, because honestly this is what I think you are, do not also forget the crops you planed exporting to Europe or America. When you begin these please remember to update us on Nairaland. Thanks! |

gomojam: You talk too much! You are too sentimental and bigotry driven as well to be taken seriously. Middlebelt people are all over the southwest state doing farming unless you wanna mention your specific tribe then, we can verify. Many middlebelt well-to-do are in Lagos. The downtrodden are in many too, go to Ajegunle in Lagos for example, many stay there. That many of us have not been challenging your claims does not mean you are correct, we just feel no need to get worked up over non issue. We tolerated your vitrol enough so stop 'Yorubas don't take criticism' blackmail, pls.
My advice for you: go your plan of secession without attracting the hatred of the Yorubas, trust me, if you awaken their consciousness and make them see good reasons to work against you it won't be easy, they are very tactical. I've also been tempted to reply the tribelss Nowenuse but I refrained myself from doing it because I discovered he's emty vesel. The more I read his comments the more I can't stop laughing at his stupidity, he's the real defination of all talk no action. From pulling figures without source to support his claims to claiming to be what he's not. He claimed to have met with the leader of the deadliest militia group in plateau and yet another killing of his people took place yesterday, and more will take place before the end of this month unless it doesn't make it to the media, and from what I've deduced so far from his posts, he's a very frustrated person who eronneusly thinks Yoruba is the major problem of his life. Imagine inconsequential person from inconsequential tribe hating on Yoruba people that don't even know about his existence and his backward tribe whose people major in subsistence agriculture for survival. I'm very happy with COVIDODO, LENGENDHERO and other great omoluabis who have taken their time to answer him according to his folly. I know next time he sees a thread about Yoruba or SW he'll just waka pass because of the beaten he has received in this thread. |

Hoephase: Awolowo did what every other lawyer would have done.
My only concern is that even after these years and the level of education of the SW ritual killings is still common in skull mining Republic.
I would be glad if someone with a good understanding of the psycholog of an average SW explain to us why ritual killing is pervasive in SW. I am just curious and want to learn. You first explain the psychological reason why the SE people like shielding ritualism in the region away from media, for your information the infamous Okija shrine is still in operation with hundreds of branches across Ibo land. |
