1. Is the A$40k per year if yes. Of course you can meet up

Get a room for $150/wk. Spend only on your necessities(bring lots of stuff from Nigeria that will help greatly)

Moreso, there are lots of jobs. Getting one ain't hard. P. S Prepare to take the aged care course or disability course.... There's money in that sector

What University did you get accepted into

How much is the aged care course please?

I will be moving to Brisbane by month end and I need head way on how to start life immediately.

Brethren, there is nothing God cannot do oh!

Finally, Visa Grant just landed oh!!!!

Details coming soon.
After waiting almost 5 months now.

Got my first CoE 28th of march, 2019.
Visa Application = 14th may, 2019
Medicals = 14th may, 2019
Biometrics= 14th may, 2019.

Initial resumption date= 29th july, 2019
Got extension for 5th August, 2019.
Still visa didn't drop.

I was depressed when immigration requested for my original degree certificate on the 2ñd August when my final extended resumption was 5th august.

When I finally got my original degree certificate and uploaded, my CoE has expired and my agent wrote to federation university for a new CoE for Nov intake and on August 23rd they school sent me a rejection notice stating they reasons why they can't continue with the process and requesting me to withdraw the visa application from immigration and request a refund from them at my earliest convenience.

My family and I got into several prayers and we believed God through prayers that federation university will reconsider their decision and reissue me another CoE.

On the 9th of September, immigration sent a mail requesting for a new CoE from my school and my agent had to include the attachments to my school for them to also reconsider and the school eventually sent me a new CoE for November intake on 23rd September.

Finally visa grant came today. Praise God for me.

It seems like a dream to me.

Again, there is nothing God cannot do my people.
Just continue trusting God and you will realize how faithful He is.

I wish everyone waiting for their visa my kind of Grace. God will see y'all through.

Let me start by appreciating all, those who answered my questions, those who asked questions that I learnt from and those who are still waiting for theirs to land. Just know that it will end in praise. That's what I told myself during the wait period.

Visa application journey stated with medicals at Fatayi Williams clinic in Lagos on 18th July via emedical thanks to the advice of folks here who told me to front load my medicals and biometrics. Went for biometrics at vfs lekki a couple of times though. First time I didn't know I was meant to have applied for the visa before going for biometrics. Only took my international passport and ATM card. Was ask for a code that was meant to be on the visa application print out. Told the guy that I haven't applied for visa of which he asked me to apply and come back again. Went home that day sad.

Went home and applied for the visa and printed all the documents sent to my mail.
Second day, I came a bit close to their closing time. Asked to come another day as the time had passed. Went home angry.
Third day was the day I succeeded. Should be 28th July or so.
By this time even the security man has known my face grin

Then the wait started. On 28 August, received a mail asking me to upload my proof of funding. Uploaded on 3rd September.

And this morning I was telling God to just do his will. Everybody around me have been like "Guy how far? You still dey? When you dey comot?" I was just tired of answering the questions.

Funny enough a paper I sent for publication was rejected and I was just down and I got the mail this morning.
On checking my mail again I saw a mail from immi and my heart skipped. Even my data froze as downloading a document less than 100kb took me close to 30minutes.

Finally I saw it and I told myself " it has ended in praise "

Congrats bro. I tap into this your testimony bro.

Good evening everyone. I applied for visa on the 24th of June but actually my start date was 29th July and I got an extension till August 9th.Yeah I applied late. At some point, the school asked my agent for my reference number to chase up the embassy but unfortunately the visa didn't come out. On the 8th I got a mail from school to immediately withdraw my visa application that the fact they resumed coupled with the fact that their visa refusal profile shows that I might be at risk of getting a refusal, hence I withdrew. I'm about to re-apply for student visa and I want to know if I'd have to do another medical and biometrics. N.B I did my medical on the 18th of June and I guess that's still early. Please how do I go about it?

I have a similar issue and I'm trying to contact you via email.
Can you respond?

I prayed about visa grant deliveries this week with few people saying Amen.. and as hilarious as our God may be, He started the delivery with me! #Obaaseyiowu

MEDICAL: 28th May
VISA APPLICATION : 18th June
BIOMETRIC: 19th June.. (it would surprise you I did my biometric twice.... firstly on 18th June, then was called that my biometric wasn't successfully delivered, Australian government had to call VFS to call me for another one... was the only one called back for it out of the 31 people that did biometric on 18th June) .... You too see say my village people tried, but the God of Oyedepo pass them... Lol

CO contact: 31st July (requested for a new CoE)
New CoE uploaded : 2nd August
Visa Grant: 6th August

The visa dropped while I was on phone with my agent.. we were gisting , Lo and behold, he just shouted "ofemi o ti jade o" ....naso I began dance skelewu and now, I've switched to naira Marley.. Lol

For someone out there discouraged and trying to throw in the towel, let my testimony be enough to spark hope in you.. I got denied by Czech Rep in 2015 and US last August. Today marks it a year and two days those bastard at Walter Carrighton knack me "hammer" for head... but today, just see what the Lord has done.
Lemme say it again, all hopefuls will smile IJN.

Oya ni Deakin oo.. Iyalaya daddy mummy daddy won! Lol

Congrats bro.
I claim my own miracle too.

I have similar case, my extension was till 31st July but no response from my application till date. Am still hopeful

I have this same issue.
I applied on the 14th may and I'm supposed to resume 29th July. I got an extension from the school till 5th August being tomorrow. My agent have written reminders to immi since no response till on the 1st august they responded that they will look through the application and respond before the weekend.
They did the next day being Friday 2ñd August only to request I upload my original B.Tech certificate within 14 days. That they want to see it. I am yet to collect that certificate from my school though I will be going tomorrow to do that.

My big concern now is the school won't extend time again for me after tomorrow if I don't enrol and they will notify immigration from what they stated on my extension letter.
Though my agent is telling me not to worry, that he will write to the school after tomorrow to issue me another CoE for next intake which is February 2020.

Please house what do y'all advice on my case now.

Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth are the main happening cities, Adelaide is even considered as a regional area. Have been to Tasmania, what i noticed is sparse population, no functional train system aside the one going to mines, nearly every body have a car, job opportunities is limited but if you can live there getting PR is easier same as Northern Territory (Darwin) which has a more lesser population than Tasmania couple with harsh weather similar to that of Kano but Tasmania is the coldest state in Australia on average. I onced said on this forum that there is limited jobs opportunities in Tasmania and someone living there tackled me that there is enough jobs maybe i didn't explore enough, although i didn't stay more than four weeks and it was just a visit and that was my experience.
Melbourne has countless jobs opportunities in as much as you are not lazy & you don't mind doing any kind of job, regional Victoria like Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo have limited jobs opportunities that is why most students schooling in those areas have to come down to Melbourne to hustle which is not easy.
Jobs are in the big cities but limited in regional areas, schooling and living in regional areas will give you extra points while applying for PR and some regional areas may even sponsor you and this opportunity is not applicable to those schooling in the cities. Victoria for instance, only sponsor PHD holders in selected profession, that's why some Nigerians that came to study are moving to Tasmania after there studies while some are even applying for credit transfer before completing their studies (personally, i know of five Nigerians that have made such decision).
The choice is yours whether to have it easy in case your occupation is competitive by moving to regional area with limited jobs opportunities and the possibility of getting a state sponsorship or stay in the big cities with unlimited jobs opportunities and battle for PR.
PS: Those that are moving to regional areas are doing so for visa conditions, after getting PR and abiding by the conditions which maybe two to four years of living in a regional area couple with certain number of working hours, most have the intention of relocating to the big cities after satisfying their visa conditions.
I really appreciate this explanation even though I was not the one who requested for it.
I'm admitted to federation university, Ballarat campus and I'm waiting for my visa to be processed. Someone already told me there are limited job opportunities but I can plan myself and work at Melbourne which is about 1hr from Ballarat. I'm optimistic everything will turn out well.

Good morning my nairaland family,

I want to share my testimony to encourage others in similar conditions

Wife Visa application: Nov 26 , 2017 to resume in NSW January 29 2018

First contact by case officer: January 25 2018, asked for Proof of relationship with sponsor, then UK refusal eveidence

Wife VISA granted about 7 days after school resumption; 6th February 2018

I applied with my kids as a subsequent entrant on a dependent Visa: August 6th 2018

VISA REFUSAL: October 22, 2018

DEVASTATED, ANGRY, CRIED SAD,DEPRESSED

Re applied November 22, 2018

Then the very LONG WAIT

NO CONTACT FROM THE CASE OFFICER

Sent them mail twice, January and March: the sent an automated response and then later that it’s still under consideration

WAITED AND WAITED

Then suddenly without contact from case officer, on a FRIDAY GOD DID IT

Visa granted : 7th June 2019

KEYS: GOD FACTOR : prayers, fasting
perseverance: through all the issues, long list.

Never give up friends in similar shoes.

IF GOD CAN DO MINE, HE CAN DO YOURS

Congrats and thank God for your testimony.
God will do ours too. Amen!

AL1, AL2 and AL3 are ranking of Unis according to their assessment level, AL1 Unis are expensive and require less scrutiny compare to other assessment level Unis. You can apply for another masters before or after your post study work visa.
PS: post study work visa is once in a lifetime.

OK thanks.
By the time one concludes the 2nd master's degree, I would apply for PR.

Where can I check this ranking now?

It will more than fly, what he need to do is to present a strong SOP stating the need of a second Master and preferably he should go for any of the AL1 Uni. Countless number of naija doing their second Msc in which most presented their previous Msc cert while applying.
What's the meaning of AL1 uni?

And can one apply for another masters after studying 2yrs for the first one in Australia. Eg Assuming after 2yrs of study, I get a post study Visa and before the visa runs out I apply for another master's degree will I be granted visa to do that?
