Kollyman:It is not pronounced "san". It is pronounced "S A N". The letters are called out. You have been noticed. Shift! |
This only made me hungrier. I have been observing fast with my Muslim friends. |
Festus Keyamo is an ambulance chaser! The real Lawyers are found in Court rooms not on TV or pages of newspapers talking rubbish. I wonder who made Femi Falana an SAN. Kollyman:SAN is an acronym and it means Senior Advocate of Nigeria. It is pronounced 'SAN' and not 'san' as most people do. 'A' or 'AN' can be used with the acronym. You have been noticed. Now, run along boy! |
wristbangle:How much are you? I want to buy you and pay cash, on the spot. My dog lacks a play thing. |
donphilopus:FCT Area council elections were heavily rigged by that ghost-face Minister. He couldn't rig that of Gwagwalada because the man they were counting on refused to support their candidate. He supported the APGA guy. I won't say more. |
What happened to Mercy Johnson's husband? The only man that runs for the office of Deputy Governor on a sole and seperate ticket. |
Ok |
When he is sent to prison by a British Court, he'll be deported to serve his term in his country if his country has Prisoner exchange agreement with the UK. If not, he'll still be deported. IamPatriotic: |
Ambode knows. He is just living true to type: creating a diversion from his lacklustre performance. |
IamPatriotic:You are right bro. I don't know why My Lords are acting like members of the Bar. Each with his own opinion of what the Law ought to be, instead of what it is. Too bad for the polity and stability. |
Nigerians! When will some of us have sense and start behaving like humans instead of goat? Somebody's father has turned to a wheel barrow with which to carry the VC abi? Some of the people rejoicing with him now, also rejoiced when he was removed. |
That's all they do! And it is even the Privates and non-commissioned ones that engage in this act mostly. |
hakanai:I don't like replying posts like yours cos it is not objective and heavily coloured by your political inclination. If I may ask, The CPC produced the President, A C N the VP, don't you think it is right the NewPDP produced the Senate President? It was also agreed that Buhari will make a member of the defunct ANPP, SGF but he reneged on all of this. This would have compensated all the parties that came together to form the APC. Why would the APC ask a big masquerade like Saraki that was a former Governor(and C/man of their nonsense NGF) to step down for a Lawan who was just promoted from the House of Reps to the Senate?( This is how these men think sha). The Apc would have insisted on producing George Akume as Senate President, that would have stopped Saraki. This is because Akume is a former Governor, fmr PDP and has more national appeal and spread than Lawan. Those that supported Saraki wouldn't have had any problem supporting Akume. Do you know why Akume was not picked by the APC for the office? Buhari said NO. He leaned towards Lawan's candidacy. Don't tell me he is not in this fight cos he's 100% in it. |
Nice one. Keep it coming. |

pafygodo:Why would the Persidency want to dictate who heads another arm of government? Saraki made all the sacrifice he ought to make. 1. He walked out of PDP and brought donors to APC. 2. He supported Buhari in the elections. 3. He made mockery of Ministerial screening by approving Buhari's nominees without problems. 4. He refused to drag Buhari into the fight, hoping that the old man will have sense and conscience and call his dogs to order. My question is : if Saraki was good for the campaigns, why has he gone bad now that it is time to share office? I don't like Saraki and I think Buhari and APC are God's judgement on him for his many sins, but sometimes, we have to say the truth without caring whose ox is gored. The truth is that Buhari and APC want to use and dump him but he has said NO! I see this fight lingering till election before they will abandon it for campaigns. I am enjoying every bit of it and has bought my guguru and ekpa. |
This should be Borno state. They don't want to be caught unawares or dependant on another man to secure you. To each, his gun. I bet those in the band will have theirs too, slung over their shoulders. ![]() |
Knee-jerk response to governance is a feature of political imaturity and incorrect. Ambode, should wake up and ask himself what will happen to millions that survive on street hawking. Create employment opportunities and watch them leave the streets to take up paid employment, only a few would remain( I have bought hot rolls countless times on the streets of NY) Our problem in Nigeria is structural. The foundation is very faulty. Give us a total and fiscal federalism in Nigeria with rights to generate power given to states and watch states like Lagos generate 2,000 to 3,000 megawatts within the first 6 months to 1 year. This will, with the right incentives and laws, aid industrialisation to a large extent and create employment. Once people have employment opportunities, they will decide between being called street hawkers and paid employees. It'd only be the daring ones among them that can brave it and continue because they desire to own their own businesses and the freedom/independence that goes with it. To say, one can stop street hawking totally in Africa, Asia and south America, this period, is a lie. The fortunes of these continents keeps dwindling in the face of a rising population. Scarce means and resources have given rise to survival of the fittest in these climes. Ambode should not forget that. |
1. It is only a Nigerian girl that will expect payment after sex and call it upkeep money, while calling those in the brothels that exchange sex for money too, prostitute. |
The ones you think know, don't know. This big lie doesn't change the fact that you are a witness to the Prosecution, even against your will. The NASS is like a mafia and those former and serving Senators listed are about to break the code of silence that they operate. "A mighty wind shall blow, a great rain shall fall, much harm shall be done and all shalll not be the same " Bambulu Whatever will flow from this debacle is going to benefit Nigerians. I can only buy my popcorn and ticket(ringside) and chant : fight! Fight!! Fight!!! |
modath:Most states aren't. Infact, only Lagos has had leaderships that 'try'. Do you know why? Lagos is the eyes of Nigeria and they dare not fail. As soon as any Governor of Lagos state wants to nap, they will call him out on social media or by the civil society groups. My advice is that other states should emulate Lagos in holding their leaders accountable. Abuja people are too docile to do that and that's why they have a dead leadership before El Rufai came into office and after he left. Imagine a small state like Bayelsa, with too much revenue, tiny land mass and population to spend on, yet they owe workers salary. What about Osun and AregbeRascal? |
My question is: when these our 'Leaders/rulers' make this type of journey, who foots the bill? Let us not forget that they carry a retinue of aides along. We have been inundated with pictures of GEJ and his entourage in Israel on pilgrimage and Buhari and his, in Saudi Arabia. Is this not waste and legitimised corruption? Can't these people perform their religious obligations with their personal money and not drag us into it? Must Nigeria pay for everything they do? Imagine the MD of a company going on pilgrimage with the company's staff and money. If really we want to reduce cost of governance, we should start from insignificant things like this that don't impact on our well-being as a people. #Change begins with us doing things differently. |
Show the picture to Pa Buhari. He needs to work out like this his age mate. If only that would make him to sit up to his responsibilities. |
Edo babe at work! That man's picture is with her grandma who has died since and buried with the picture in tow. |
TippyTop:They don't ! And those posting that might be from Offa. They hate Saraki die. |
feeloscar:They are PDP but allowed the APC to produce a speaker with the PDP supplying his deputy. It was all done in the interest and spirit of sharing. An APC Speaker will sustain a smooth relationship with the Governor which will in turn allow them unfettered access to cash and to loot without being checked. |

You said most of the House members might be APC and wen ahead to ask me to do my findings. That means you haven't done your finding before asking me to. Bro, you are the one who needs to do a research. |
kahal29:Everything to you people is about PDP versus APC and Jonathan versus Buhsari. I am not talking the politics of it. I am talking the legal effect of this impunity. There is already an appeal and stay of execution in this matter. Even a year one Law student knows that the stay of execution stops the people from taking further action till the court rules otherwise. For INEC to go ahead and issue the cretificate of return is disappointing. |
diva90:Then they don't have a marriage or family and should have parted ways since. Your question though. I hope you don't belong to the group that cheat back in return, when cheated on? |
You will never know the value of anything until you lose it. Jonathan was incompetent as a President, but he gave democracy a chance to thrive in Nigeria. We are now back to barracks democracy. Military men in agbada who have abrogated the constitution in their minds. We are back to the Obasnjo days of impunity. He is not alone now, it will be remembered as Obasanjo and Buhari type of democracy. |
Now fighting corruption has taken a new form. I am sure the Speaker and his people are not in Ortom's good books, else he wouldn't say this. They might even be PDP members! Hypocrisy and thievery in high places. The EFCC should just do a thorough job of cleaning the Augen stable in Benue government house; from Geroge Akume's time till now. Please, when is Buratai, the saver-in-chief, appearing before the EFCC? |
HateU2:That family is already destroyed. She could go and get HIV and infect her husband which will destroy his life and dreams. She could conspire with her lover and kill the man, so they can have unrestrained access to the thing. The best is for the husband to walk out of the marriage alive and intact. Isn't it funny that you women who preach to other women to leave abusive relationships with their lives are the ones refraining from saving a man who has been totally abused in his own marriage(cheating is the worst crime in a marriage) because you don't want to' destroy' the marriage. Where is the marriage in this instance? |
