Chelsea has once again proved that racism has no place in football and equal opportunity shld be given to all and sundry irrespective of who or what thou art... Up Chelsea ... let's go for B2B for the UCL, not forgettg other prestigious laurel... |

i don't hv to b cynical...yes, we hv certain bad apples in our police force, same elsewhere, but the overall impression is that however the image the nig police myt hv created over the years due to certain ext and int factors, there is still hope for remedy, so much so that another country is asking for training... it sounds like a prophet wtout an honour in his own country... |
Congrats to Chelsea for beating Wigan. Ath 2 nil... gat more work to do on finishing... |
Hey guz... tell our boiz we need more goals.... |
We need sharper counter attachks; these wigans are puttg all their eggs in our half... |
Congrats to Enugu... but u must not relax on ur oars... protect ur wealth wt all jealousy... |
that was foul against Torres... the wigan defender completely left the ball and went for Torres.. |
Happy birthday sir, and many happy returns... |
Those who are cynical abt IBB are just ignoramuses... they shld compare and contrast his achievements with those of his predecessors and successors. |
The word of God is life and no man can survive without it...it goes without saying that anyman here or not, who does not obey God, read His word and abide by them is eternally doomed... John 3:16...For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son - Jesus Christ - that whosoever believes in Him should not perish... |
Meen! That dippg bread inside tea.... |
Mike is such a great and valuable player who has achieved quite a lot despite challenges that come wt football. That said, nigerians hv bn so hypnotised that they will 4eva remain cynical; it's their curse for being nigerians! |
Obj had hi stakes in Dangote's and wld stoop so low wt his dregs of the business world, where dog eats dog, to asphyxiate the hope of a common man levelling up their standard of living. Oga Joe shld open up the market and help us out...we can't keep postponing buildg our own houses just becos of sorts like Dangote... |
This is sad. I remember that similar incident triggered the withdrawal of Vodacom... However, how did other coys who are thriving survive the corruption scare.. I guess since they cldn't beat, they joined... Trust me: any lessons learnt - nope! Will this kinda scandal continue - yep! Y? Becos our foundation is faulty and needs to be corrected now or never! Here comes the implementation of The Aburi Accord - go back there or remain in this mess! |
This is step closer to the Promised Land that flows with milk and honey, where you're not restricted from dreaming and achieving your goals in life... Biafra is True Freedom, indeed! |
I can deduce from various contributions here that the bane of Nigeria's problem is hypocrisy and cynicism. We categorise corruption/breach of code of conduct and weigh them in our selfish scale and pass judgement. 1. He who uses the company's resources is guilty of a breach and that includes YOU! Yes You... 1. when u use the coy's internet facility for ur personal mails, etc. 2. when u use the coy's phone for personal calls. 3. you come in late or leave early vice versa... 4. when u use the coy's time for unproductive chats/gossip, etc In the light of the above, he who is without 'sin', cast the first stone! If we continue wt this hypocrisy and cynicism, it will not benefit you... it's like pointing one finger at some1 else, the other fingers are yours, u know! I will encourage the guy to do it in an 'organised manner and professionally, too' - outside of working hours (before and after close of business and during lunchtime). He can also hire some guys to help out, since the biz is growing and will keep growing. Some staffers even take some minutes during office hours to go smoke and the hypocrites do not see anything wrong with this, and some manise/womanise/gossip from desk to desk, et al. Some idle loafers are busy talking abt an entrepreneur in the making, instead of encouraging the young man or even asking him for some free business tips. Stop having sleepless nyts over this young and growing biz, and see how u can help ur miserable selves! We are all in it together. Let's bother more on how to save Nigeria from the vultures that are ravaging our economy (in billions of dollars). |
Cld u pls stop these rubbish of prophecies wheneva calamities occur. It all reeks of charlatanism. He and others shld repent and surrender their lives to our Lord and Saviour - Jesus Christ, and also preach the gospel, not these ludicrous postings, please! |
On Manual typewriter those days, I cld go between 80 and 100, but wt computers (keyboard, the speed hovers between 100 and 130... These days, no1 teaches basic typewriting skills; people just pick the keyboard and use different fingers for different keys... I encourage all too check our the internet and start working on basic typewriting skills; they help as regards speed and accuracy! |
Lessons hv bn learnt... move on and up! To other aspirants: neva lose focus and don't be petty; it's a serious business rep ur country on an international stage! |
"He said instead of establishing a grazing reserve for nomads, the FG should settle them in the North, where there are large acres of uninhabited land." He that hath an ear, let him ear... |
Methinks this is somewhat a PRANK! |
I am so proud of this woman She supports her husband with ultimate passion and gets results She is strong, and loves this country And here again, blazing the trail, she becomes the very first First Lady Who condescends (by context, considerg our environment) to serve her state With all vigour and earnestness She is qualified for the job and the constitution supports and in fact admires her ever readiness willingness to serve All the time, she reminds me of 'The Pledge' ... Nne gaa niru, egwu adiro...kama ndi-ilo jee kwua udoo! |
Nigerians are so pissed off and they hv the right to be. It took us years to break the BBA jinx, but when it's finally done by Kevin and subsequent editions saw our reps (Uti and Karen) doing their best in representing Nigeria (as giant of Africa) and they were duly rewarded and recognised. This particular BBA saw all of us so shocked to the marrow: Didn't Ola know his state of health b4 even venturing into the game; it's selfish of him to hv done that, denyg others such opportunity. After Ola and Chris' shameful exit, all eyes were on Goldie to represent, but she had a small mind... u may be a star/entertainer, but when it comes to games/representing ur country on an international stage, u hv got to understand the power of focus; this she lost, dashing the hope of fun-loving Nigerians and starvg them of entertainment for more days! Nigerians are not happy and I think Goldie shld apologise and most importantly, this game shld be left for those who are healthy and focussed! |
This action is expedient (advantageous) but not judicious (prudent). |
1. Administrative lapses cannot be completely eradicated unless she must seriously micro-manage...there are guz who shld hv done all that b4 docs get to her table... 2. She is not found wanting; that's examplary leadership, which is rare nowadays! 3. I commend FG's decision to bring her back; this shld be encouraged across all strata of governance (both private and public sectors) 4. She shld get all entitlements, which were denied her those days of embargo 5. Most importantly, she shld be given adequate security and protection. |
I think the moderator is miles ahead some of u... u see my first (Peugeot 605 latest model) has digital fuel gauge, again DIGITAL FUEL GAUGE. Thus, it shows on the dashboard (50 L) fifty liters, etc So from Aguda Surulere to VI (Eko Hotel) I would normally use 3 litres... and it is about 12 kilometres journey. And with this, I was able to know that virtually ALL gas stations in Lagos cheat their customers; sometimes up to 4 litres shortage. I had complained before and even told some of them this is not right... sometimes i take the pain to show them my dashboard. Lagosians, abi Nigerians, u are being cheated everyday by these stations and worse off, if u can't tell how much cheating is going on! |
Fare thee well O gentle soul May thy place rest, with joy, be full Adieu, mama, who showed love unrestrained |
