Pls, I would like to find out if at the port of entry (Canada), one will be asked about "proof that you have enough money to support yourself during your stay in Canada" ? If yes, how can this be managed, if you don't intend travelling with much cash for security reasons....

I studied in China for 7years till 2020.My wife is our PA and I am the accompanying spouse.Do I need a PCC from China as accompanying spouse?
Also,we went for a one-week honeymoon in Dubai in 2021.Do we need to state these and also get PCC from Dubai?

1. How long is it meant to be in my account for? Does it matter that it has not fully accumulated as at when I get an ITA and I only put it together after the ITA? If it gets into your account as a lump sum, there needs to be an explanation of the source (savings, sent from one of your account to another, liquidation of FD etc.) or better still do a gift deed for whatever cannot be explained.
2. After getting AOR, does it still need to be there untouched?
Ideally, your POF should be in your account from AOR till you get your PPR and land because you may/maynot be asked to resubmit bank statement at any time.

Assist, my spouse got a UK ban 16/June/2012. Apparently the visa was already issued before the embassy found out whatever that was misinterpreted and later evoked the Visa before calling him to come and pick up her package. On picking up his package he noticed the visa was already dispatched out for delivery but was called back for evoke, the package he got was in a brown envelope instead of the normal courier service nylon. Counting from june 2012 till date, the ban has elapsed and i want to be believe the ban is not an active ban anymore. Should this be declared in our application? The main reason for this Evoked or Ban was not mentioned in his package that was returned, but deep down from his mind he knew he misinterpreted, but he doesnt know where UK caught him exactly and it wasn't stated in the package they returned back. If we decide to declear it which we want to, What exactly UK picked for the ban is what we dont know. The only document tht came with the package is a form to Appeal to the first tier tribunal. Inshort, How he even knew he was ban was the type of refusal stamped on the passport 320(7a) if you are familiar with UK refusal stamp type. If we are to declare this with Ircc, How do we state it.

If you add your spouse AFTER PPR, does it require IELTS and ECA ? Ideally it should not require.

Ielts has not been good to me.
I had written quite a number
I had LRWS 8,6.5,7,7 which is best so far
I speak French quite well and write , because my mum was trading in Benin republic all through my young age.
I gave TEF a shot and got a band 9

I am thininking of re writing ielts to get 8777 so I can have a good chance as English is my primary language.

Or has any Nigerian been able to successfully use TEF as primary language for this Canadian journey.
I just got to know this forum today when I was searching for this information and I have not seen any Nigerian use French as primary language

I'm tempted to say ignore as it may be a glitch or it could be the LOE portion of your app that you never used.....

........but in the spirit of having done all, please write a 3 line LOE.........you saw this on your profile, no request letter and no email from IRCC, also bottom portion of screenshot says "there are no required documents for this online application", and lastly, as you understand it, nothing is pending from you except that you are eagerly awaiting your final approval.

Upload for them in the two placeholders and wait for your Counterfoil and COPR. This Accra sef......

Better to do the new electronic one that can be easily verified on police portal to avoid stories that touch. I once got the old one before IRCC requested for an update PCC. I had to cough out 40k and once done, you can verify at possap. IRCC will even require that you enter those details which are not on the old one

It was done on the 6th of this month..I didn't visit alagbon. I had to pay an officer to help with it..

How do I confirm the genuity please. I have seen another new type which is the new type I heard. Please does this 2 types of PCC suffice?

Just not sure if IRCC has now defaulted to this recent type.

Feeling distraught right now.My wife is our PA for Express Entry.Her IELTS score just came in Band 8 at L8.5 R8.5 W6.5 S7.5.Missed the golden score by a 0.5. I will create our profile today but what do you guys suggest?
To go in for a remark or register for a new test? The only available test dates in my area are Oct 4th and 18th CBT.Our score is at about 484 with this score.
She already took TEF and our ECAs completed.

I will need your advise on this issue:
I have a Canada tourist visa 10years ago and at the moment, my PR application is at IRCC waiting for RFV. I called IRCC office yesterday and the agent mentioned my old address of 10 years ago together with my recent address I used in my PR application.
Is there any need for concern. sud I raise a webform to let them know that I don't live in that old address again. Moreover, I didn't include the old address in my PR application.
