Jokes EtcRe: A Young Girl Dating Advice by dipsyn(op): 9:23am On Oct 08, 2010
A man and his young wife were in divorce court, but the custody of their children posed a problem. The mother leaped to her feet and protested to the judge that since she brought the children into this world, she should retain custody of them. The man also wanted custody of his children, so the judge asked for his justification. After a long silence, the man slowly rose from his chair and replied, "Your Honor, when I put a dollar in a vending machine and a Coke comes out, does the Coke belong to me or the machine?"
Jokes EtcA Young Girl Dating Advice by dipsyn(op): 9:20am On Oct 08, 2010
A young girl was going on a date.

Her grandmother said, "Sit here and let me tell you about young
boys.

He is going to try and kiss you, you are going to like that, but
don't let him do that.

He is going to try and feel your breast, you are going to like that,
but don't let him do that.

But most important, he is going to try and get on top of you to have
his way with you. You are going to like that, but don't let him do
that. It will disgrace the family."

With that bit of advice, the granddaughter went on her date.

The next day she told grandma that her date went just like she had
predicted.

"Grandma, I didn't let him disgrace our family.

When he tried, I just turned over, got on top of him, and disgraced
HIS family."
PoliticsRe: Men Of God And Their Acquisition Of Wealth by dipsyn: 9:26pm On Sep 10, 2010
I laugh rily when I see post like dis, asking y Men of God are rich or y they drive Jet (by the way Jets were made by man as a means of transportation to be used by man), anyway back 2d point, in has much as i don't like mentioning names 4dis one i would make an exemption

Pst. Oyedepo for instance bcoz i blive dat is d picture put up by mr presido, tk an instant of a man who has abt 6,000 people under him, a world class university and so many other investment y can't he ride a jet.

You may argue He extort from the populace but let mi throw more light on the good he does b4 the populace let go
1) If people like pst. Adeboye or Oyedepo is not around to preach d word of God and good morals do you know how many people will have giving up on life, joined armed robbery and d likes making Nigeria an unsafe place 4 me and you
2) do you know how many homes and marriages have been saved during their preaching or counselling
3) do you know how many people faith has been developed which they have used to overcome obstacles like looking on God for a child or getting a good job in this Nigeria were graduates are been frustrated
4) do you know how many souls they have worn to the Kingdom of God or lives they have touched from afar through TV broadcast
5) do you know how many have received God's healing and miracle on their lives through them
6)do you know how many demons they have cast out to make the Nigeria a safer place 4 me and u
7) do you know how many people have gottn employd thru d universities they have built or church work

pls i can go on and on, but rily for a man who has done all this, though because of the intangible nature of it pple hardly notice dont u think they deserve a private jet, pls if you think they don't go and walk the walk they have takn and be riding your janopy bitu

they cant save everybody or help evrbodi evn the Govt that is meant to do the job get double the luxury with nothn to show 4 it. U can't be doing all this and God will not bless you,

There will always b the poor evn In the US they are poor people, the Pastors are doing their best, you should be asking yourself ow u can contribute ur own quota to the society and not critising those njoyn the fruit of their labour

NB: I also know they are fake and moni extorting preachers also, but lets give credit to whom credit is due and not xpect them to b supermen and retched all d time
RomanceRe: Whats More Important: Looks Or Personality? by dipsyn: 9:29pm On Sep 08, 2010
Rily wil sey both 4 instance lets say you go shopping if a shirt or dress does not attract you from a far you will never get close to look at it whether it's of a quality material, so if you don't have the looks in d first place sori nobody will notice that fantastic personality especially 4d lady's you must always kip yourself and look pretty gud, same to men though, your looks determine the calibre of people you attract.

Also note looks is short term is personalty that helps to weather the storm in the long run, the same way d quality of the cloth no matter how fine determines ow long it will last

lastly off record now some go 4 moni instead of either of the two, the same way one prefers to buy a Gucci shirt no matter how ugly or fake it mite looks just bcoz it has a Gucci, tag the idea changes that its fine, attractive and of gud quality just bcoz it reads Gucci, lol Moni talks bullshit walks
RomanceRe: I Hate Housework And Cooking by dipsyn: 10:13pm On Sep 07, 2010
Really enjoying this topic but just to had ma few observations
1) why does your husband close 6pm and you close 10pm wondering what kind of job is dat have u discessed with him to find out if you have reduced hours of work or change your job to one with les hours whether it will b OK by him as per tkn care of d bills caused by d lapses

2) We all like to say we are in the western age now so the woman should not do all d cleaning and cookn coz she aint superwomen but u forget the repercussions which leads to so many divorces esp in the so called western world and single mum's and rily it is not our tradition we Africans so y chase after another man's world all d time

3) you need to take a look at most called career women in africa esp the blacks, a larger percentage are single, we tend to use our kids has an excuse but we forget this kids will grow up, leave your homes 4 theirs and you will have to spend your old age with your husband coz by then it will b only both of u so ow u manage the relationship now matters a lot in the future and its a big mistake taking your child first b4 your spouse in any relationship be it man or Woman

Lastly just tink you should have a dialogue with your husband and come to a compromise, has sum1 rightly suggested wkend cookn and cleaning aint a bad idea dont get to engrossed with this women empowerment bullshit know your role as a woman in has much as you are not slaves you are there to support and not overthrow the head. the bible makes it clear the man is meant to provide 4d family not the woman she is to support xcept if u know ur husb is not capable, God help you
PoliticsRe: Nigerian States From Richest To Poorest (ppp) by dipsyn: 10:02am On Aug 19, 2010
@only truth in as much I don't know much about Oyo will like to tell you some few things y I think Oyo is richer than Anambra

Anambra has the biggest market for traders while Oyo has the biggest manufacturing industries for business men like tobacco industries (which is one of the most booming mkt in d world and d likes infarct must manufacturing industries factories are based in Oyo)

Oyo has a low density compared to Anambra

Oyo boasts of the most educational institution in Nigeria exclusive of Lagos and mayb Ogun and you know were they are educated people there is always room for development

Oyo also boast of agriculture such as maize, cassava, millet, rice etc

And that is just the little I know so am sure there is much more esp Ibadan been the largest city in West Africa am sure its not just large for nothing

Lastly no matter what ranking is giving to each sate people will always still complain but I believe those that built up this list have done their research so you need to go do yours also because if you have, you wont even ask the question what does Oyo have but the question would be Oyo have this Anambra has that let us compare than 1dering what Oyo has and just telling us the obvious in Anambra

Nigerians are neva contended pls let us look at ways to improve our own state to be better rather than wasting tyme criticizing those who have done their bits,

EventsRe: Is It Good To Borrow Money For Your Wedding? by dipsyn: 12:53pm On Feb 18, 2010
Hmm, rily I c nothing bad in borrowing money for your wedding, to face fact its a once in a life time event so y not, and no bi today that pple will borrow moni for wedding because its one event where you spend moni you have worked for in a year in one day, so its not bad getting all the help you can (esp if you are aware how the Igbo/ south south traditional marriage is done its cost a lot). The only exceptions I have for this rule is to borrow in proportion at which you can comfortably pay back and for this article by the by original post, the cynical reasons in which the wife has behind the borrowing.
CelebritiesRe: Who Is Greater Michael Jakcson Or Bob Marley? by dipsyn: 9:28pm On Jul 09, 2009
Apart from the fact that I dislike the topic but you dont compare a legend (mike) with a great singer (Bob) Pls U need to see the message of the Rev during d burial to start with, Mike was d one that broke the barrier of race for the first time MTV played a black man's music.

Pls how many country's have heard about Bob, but Mike His worldwide and pls dont start talking bullshit about growing up coz nobody cares, afterall Nelson Mandela is not from the States but he is gr8t and should even giv mike kudos for triving in d city and not a village King.

Lastly, dont Judge Mike's private life beleive me am in the system, you can be a black man very successful in the states or any european country without them trying to bring u down with one claim or the other. The guy is just simply tooo much
PoliticsRe: 5 Greatest Living Nigerians by dipsyn: 1:49am On May 16, 2009
Nice topic
In my opinoin,
Dont know why Chinua Achebe is so great for writing a book, though arguably he made a lot of people entertained so did the writer of harry Porter
Don't know much about Wole Soyinka but really just see him as a critic with no action
Gani is great he criticizes and also takes action at least as sued the govt a couple of time
Kanu arguably he opened a foundation do you know how many people have done that just becuase he is popular! that His wat is making the hype dont get me wrong though its still something great
Pst. Adeboye some of you will rather see him taking okada to regard him as great anyways for anybody to pull thousand of people, get thier attention and also teach them morals, to not be menace of the society even if you claim he extorts dont know what other word to call him or the role he has played than great
As for the political leaders only anthony enahoro I think is gr8 others have too much skeleton in their cupboards
Sunny ade is just a musician sellling his record and making moni like Fela dey are both good in thier profession but depends on your defination of legend if u sey Micheal Jackson is a legend mayb they are. but I tink Fela is gr8 though because he confronts the wrong doing thru his songs
Christianity EtcRe: A Question For Tithe Payers by dipsyn: 1:45pm On Mar 06, 2009
@segzy I agree with you 100%
Just wondering let's leave the scriptures alone but is it too much too give your God 10% of your earnings?.
Moving on to other issues just wondering

Its ok for Dbanj and tu face to be rich and drive jeeps but when it comes to the Men of God its a crime?

Its ok to show half nude girls on Tv and advertise with them, but when it comes to Pastors on Tv they are looking for fame how do u want the word "go he therefore and make disciples of all nation" to be accomplished and mind you there are Men of God going to villages also to preach and not just cities.

Its ok that Dbanj can raise fund thru the launching of his album but when Men of God seek for fund to build new auditoroms for everybody to worship it becomes embezzlemnt

can go on and on and on

though, arguably they are also false prophet but who are you to judge to say there are fakes, if we check our own lives in a mirror am sure it will be as black as coal as Jesus said to the crowd if you know you have no sin cast the first stone. Am waiting,
Christianity EtcRe: A Question For Tithe Payers by dipsyn: 6:01pm On Mar 05, 2009
it will be quite a pointless exercise to prove Biblical reasons y u should pay tithe even the devil knows the bible and wanted to twist it to tempt Jesus during His fast. If you feel one tenth of your earning is too big to give to God don't bother, Its when we come to God issues that we tend to be proffessors. people rather spend their money on material things and even women but question God its such a pity. Even annanahas and saphirra drop dead because they refuse to bring in the complete tithe and God as being leneint with us thru his son so we now have the priviledges to question what he meant and even insult men of God, ow I wish it was in those days he acts instateneously, we could all have being dead. Anyway the Bible as said it all U can't serve God and money
PoliticsRe: Has Anybody Considered Ojo Madueke For President. by dipsyn: 1:46pm On Mar 05, 2009
@tpia, am amazed at your defination of intelligence, because he knows ow to manipulate his way thru all governance, let me list some people I count as Intelligent people like Gani (san), Oshiomole (present edo state gov), Wole Soyinka, etc these are people that at one point in their lives have stood for good not a green snake under a green grass like Ojo. please don't be gullible by the book cover lets c what the content has, thats what am askin for. If he as being in Government for so long I presume his list of acheivment is meant to showcase that?
PoliticsRe: Has Anybody Considered Ojo Madueke For President. by dipsyn: 11:57pm On Mar 04, 2009
I wonder the basis of this thread and whether its even necessary anyway it just seem to explain how some of us Nigerians think, you want to put Ojo for president a man that has being in almost all regime of governance, a man who is neither hot nor cold, a man that just obeys orders and never stood out for what is right, a man that never bothered to resign when things were going wrong in any govt, some1 that does not even know where he stands. This man just keeps on playing safe to keep on enjoying the privileges’ of governance. Not being biased but in my opinion I want a Man to be the president of Nigeria whom you can easily know where he stands and not a chameleon.
PoliticsRe: An Open Letter To Nuhu Ribadu by dipsyn: 12:17am On Feb 04, 2009
Guess no matter how you try u can't pls everybody. If u are too sweat the world will leak u down and if you are too bitter the world will spit you out. Really which of Nigerian leader as being in between. Ribadu worked we said he was partial, he should be crucified, he was selective, etc. Here comes Waziri, the next thing we say is that she is not performing, like Ex- Governor Igbinideon paid peanuts all in the name of plea bargain.

Anyway is he who wears the shoes that know were it pinches (if you were ribadu and have xperienced failed assissination attempt and all sort of threat on his life) and the poor guy asked for security in other to appear in court and does not get it. What will you do? appear in court just to pls some BLOODY Nigerians in exchange of your life!!

Even our able president Yaradua when he was interviewed and asked y can't your wife donate a kidney he said " the problems of Nigeria is already killing me do you want to kill my wife too so that we both die and nobody take cares of our children" that's MR PRESIDENT not to talk of Ribadu

Naija the reasons y we don't grow is because we keep on rubishing people as if we really know what is happening apart from media and if our personal life was better

God Bless Nigeria!!!

In the US when things go wrong the citizen still says words like "God bless America" , "America God's own country" even in the face of this current economic crises the US citizens have not had doubt about their country coming out of it.

But in Nigeria our faithful citizens will always critize and diminish any project may be that is why the projects don't even work because just left to our bad mouthing alone is enough to kill any project and to reduce the commitment of those involved in the project

we analyse issues as if we are better than the team of scorlarly advisres who taught about it and when we check our own cupboard the decision we make in our life's is sure worse than that of Fashola. I beleive the project is good, it creates new jobs and until we Nigerians start to think right we can never act right. I pray the project works out as planned

And mind you rome was in built in a day and so America it took the right attitude from the people which in this case is you and I

God bless Fashola, God bless Nigeria!!!

PoliticsRe: Mallam Ribadu Dismissed From The Police! by dipsyn: 11:53pm On Dec 23, 2008
Everybody should know that they are always two sides to a coin. Ribadu is no different, but we must understand that even if he was selective he did select people who were corrupt pls let's call a spade a spade, being corrupt is being corrupt. He also brought to light the awareness of doing something for your country and not just embezzlement. That you cannot take away
Considering the rule of law, even though he disobeyed we all know Nigerian politics how many politicians have died from political hatred I believe he did it to save his neck afterall it's the same police and politicians that are after him
We can all see the difference of Ribadu's presence in the EFCC and his absence.
In the light of his promotion the president had the right so why did anybody not reject then only another president can demote him in a reasonable society though we don't have a president now as far as am concerned
My view is that it makes people not want to fight against corruption again so that they will not be haunted, gives room for more corruption and the quick hunt down shows it's for political reasons and not for the country's benefit. This cannot happen in a reasonable society I know because am currently in one and know how it works.
Ribadu is just a man like you with mistakes though his achievement is greater than His mistakes but He forgot he was in Nigeria were it's all about politicking now he is being unduly haunted
