Celebrities / Re: Larry Koldsweat Prefers To Be A Yoruba In Another Life by Dipwater(m): 7:25am On Mar 17, 2013 |
This man is indeed funny sha. I luv yorubas for there RESPECT,COURTESY, etc. And I admire their girls (not as beautiful as the ibos tho) for being hardworking and supportive. I am proud to be an ibo man and I luv my people so much .if I am to come back to this world as a nigerian I wuld mosdef want to be an ibo man . Let's not fight over larrys opinion ,I have yoruba friends that prefer to be ibo than being yoruba, cuz of their "I must survive" spirit and they luv our girls cuz they are so beautiful(physically) |
Health / Re: Coping With Mental Illness In Nigeria: A Beautiful Writer's Experience by Dipwater(m): 10:48pm On Mar 16, 2013 |
Billyonaire: The question should be: Who isnt mentally unstable in a way ? We all have a certain degree of madness. True story. I always feel like killing people ,I don't know if I shuld call it a mental illness. Thank gudness naija did not legalized the use of guns .I wuld have turn into serial killer.its so frustrating to be living in society where things don't work and to worsened it all politicians wuld come on air ,feeling so proud and talking rubbish. The only leader I show luv is fashola for is humility. He is over hyped tho. But very humble |

Culture / Re: Is Wearing Western Clothing Forsaking Your Culture? by Dipwater(m): 7:26am On Mar 04, 2013 |
Afam4eva: Spelling a word wrongly doesn't make u an african. Its not a matter of deciding to spell things the way u want ,its spelling it the right way. I understand u from another angle tho ,if an ibo man born in nigeria speaks u will know, if a yorubaman speaks u will still know, no matter their level of education and exposure. That is called mother tongue ,it does not give the impression that they did not spell or pronounce it right .thank u 1 Like |
Culture / Re: Is Wearing Western Clothing Forsaking Your Culture? by Dipwater(m): 7:06am On Mar 04, 2013 |
Afam4eva: Afam maybe when I come back from work we go talk well Besides jamaicans are africans. If u want to sell africa to the world ,sell ur technology, science, drugs, music etc. The chineses did that and it worked ,most of the chinese I have seen in africa put on global wears and look simple .more than 90 percent of the things we use in nigeria are imported from china .in that sense we can say that they have sold their culture to us Take note, culture evolves and the new culture now is science and technology. Pls when coming back from. Work 2day pls buy some history books ,broda things have changed we need to move forward |

PAGAN 9JA: U are right christianity is not an african religion. But u shuldnt say bcuz its not an african religion u are not going to practice it .people shuld choose their path ,cus its their decision U have chosen yurs as a pagan gud for u ,I have chosen mine agnosticism gud for me ,let them choose theirs be it islam or christianity ,hinduism or budhuism. It doesn't matter the religion or belief ,we shuld tolerate one another and live peacefully without chaos 2 Likes |
Culture / Re: Is Wearing Western Clothing Forsaking Your Culture? by Dipwater(m): 9:05pm On Mar 03, 2013 |
justwise: The poster surely has complex, wearing african attire doesn't make u more african than those not wearing it.u shuld wear whatever makes u happy not bcuz its refered to as african Culture and tradition evolves ,back then b4 the euroPeans came it wuz leaves and animal skin that was en vogue and the people as of that times decided to dispose those things when they saw better ways of dressing ,which was a gud idea .in this case will u say that they have forsaken their culture ? The cloths we even call traditional attire are not even related to african in any way .if u studied history u will understand me better. Those fabrics are imported from asia ,its their concept, idea, fabric etc. The whites came to africa and left with tangible things to build their economy ,it doesn't change anything and doesn't mean that they fail to represent.lastly jean and t shirt is not oyibo wears or english wears ,they are modern global wears. Go to china, japan, mexico, chile etc u will see it everywhere in the world .u don't need to prove anything to anybody ,just merely looking at u they know u are african. So what the heck. |

Politics / Re: Lagos Shuts Ladipo Market, Arrests Bakassi Boys.... by Dipwater(m): 4:19pm On Feb 26, 2013 |
born2fuck: Let everyone go back to his/her respective region, I spent my entirely life within the west zone, Ekiti,Ibadan,Lagos,Ogun and Osun.I have never pass my boundary, I have never been to either Hausa or Ibo land. I do not see why an Ibo in west zone raise finger that feed him. That is like point finger to the God that created you. Their days are number...FASHOLA is working All the igbo haters wuld capitalise on this ladipo ish to trash talk the igbos.I no blame una eh. This same group of people wuld rain abuses if uk govt goes tough on the black community .shaking my head for all the tribalist in the haus. On topic ,the market is trully dirty.and I wonder how they do bizniz in a dirty environment.its not fair to the environment and the occupants.I think the market shuld be relocated to a bigger place with well built modern structures. Same technic shuld be applied to alaba intl. I may not like fasholas achaic appraoch to things but the man is doing all he can to make lagos state great.let's support him by being obedient and abiding by the rules and regulations of lagos state To my ibo brothers ,we have to change our mentality .if u wanna do bizniz in another mans land(forget about the one nigeria scam) pls and pls apply wisdom . I don't know what some people are still doing in the so called lagos sef.I wus born and raised in lagos state and I hate that place with passion.everybody always in a hurry to nowhere.I don't biliv that success is tied to a particular state or cuntry.my brothas let's start coming back home cuz at the end of the day no place like home . Owerri and enugu state are neat and cool places to do bizniz ,and if like it rough and rugged u can stay at onitsha and aba The way we are forcing ourselves on this people is mind blowing .we are busy developing another mans land while our own is begging for attention. Insecurity and high cost of living is not an excuse to be receiving insults from poverty stricken touts .I wuld rather be pauper in my land with honours than risk the insult and maltreatment in a foreign land because I want to be rich. Arant nonsence. Money is not every thing. Funny enuff am even living big here in owerri with constant power supply .I rest my case |

Godman_n: Why nau? U have personal beaf with the dude ,niggah pls. I know what u are trying to prove ,but this is not the right time and space to spill it. Let's respect the dead . Security in this cuntry is so loose, anything can happen to u and the perpetrators wuld surely disappear into thin air.its not about killing criminals .it doesn't work cuz we have been killing them right the days of anini and crime has not reduced instead it has escalated to an unbearable level . Let's grab the bull by the head and fight it to surrender with the last pint of our blood. Its simple 1)Tackle corruption at all levels 2)Proper upbringing matters a lot.kids try to copy what they see 3) African mothers shuld always question their children when they start spending ill gotten , to know the source of their wealth 4)Youths shuld stop all this get rich or die trying syndrome 5)Govt shuld provide security and jobs to it citizens 6)We all shuld shun greed and selfishness Rip to the dead. to those that takes pleasure in killing their fellow human being what goes around comes around .
