Maxymilliano: This piece of news is incorrect, it was the absence of judge that stalls the trial, not absence of evidence!erm so Channels TV vs Saharareporters ? |
He'll like anyone to share their general experience i presume Are they reliable? How easy was the booking system? Were they on time? Departure time How was their customer service; in flight and on ground And their planes....? |
Aigbofa: It's becoming like the groundhog day. Jonathan issues his standard "we condemn bla bla" The ibos issue their standard " we will declare war bla bla" and everything goes back to the way it was until the next round of senseless killings.got it |

peteafrik88: I dont agree with you on that... I stay in an accommodation about 10 mins walk from school in Portsmouth and dont pay for transport. And for Uni of Portsmouth students, you are entitled to free bus transport from strategic places or bus stops on the school owned buses. That is one of the reasons I love this school to the last. Concerning proirity, I think its on the individual and not living with with other people. Its one's chioce here to do what you want.Thats totally cool, your experience with Portsmouth like many other universities up and down the country could be similar but then again there are hundreds of other universities with different arrangements or town set up, overall the advice is to plan/arrive early to get better options MOST especially undergraduates- settling into a new country/town aint easy |
have you tried calling their customer service? |
tuty: Hi all I'm new to this forum, I'm from Tanzania I'm living in Uk with a settlement visa with my husband.I think they will note the fact that your son was under 18 and still dependent on you when the application was initially submitted |

ochukoccna: No need to be a money miss road especially in the UK clamping down on immigrationThe 350+/- i wrote is annual, i'm basically saying the difference per year in most cases is around that figure, on a general note: I think where ever possible UNDERGRADUATE student especially international student should look towards university accommodations in their first year - my opinion |

Only students who have attended that specific university/ resided in that Hall/town will be able to answer specific questions about their facilities, generally the prices are around the same really, +/- £350 |

after we received a phone call that Murili Turrillo was being held captive in a hotel, my men swung into action and the Spanish man was rescued while the two suspects, Okafor Ada Joy and Kenny Oyewmina, were arrested. Investigations revealed that the female suspect lured her Spanish lover from Spain to Nigeria and he was made to withdraw all the money he had in his domiciliary account.nigerian police always swinging into action .... ![]() |
justwise: You get that with private rented accommodation as well and many of them are just walkable distance from the university, many private accommodations are shared with other foreign students so you don't really miss out in social life.True but there are some universities or towns without proper accommodations, in cities in London and Manchester the closer to the uni the more expensive these private accommodations are. To some international students 30minutes advertised in the brochure or online in actual fact is double that, all in a bid to get cheaper rates jump at these until the reality sets in; with poor transport links, lonely dark streets, cold snobbish neighbours etc Its very important international students arrive early to view the rooms they are paying for, view more than one option and not be rushed to make decisions |
adaobi123: good point. im not sure this applies for international student, after the first year do you have to move out and find your own accommodation ?I dont know about all school but there are some that allow you to apply for accommodation again while some you make a case for staying put whilst some refuse outrightly as they would expect you to have enough knowledge of the city/town hence consideration is given to first year and international students |
University accommodation is safe, usually furnished and inclusive! theres are some cost students dont calculate when looking for accommodation like transport to and from lectures You are more likely to get the 'Student experience' living in university accommodation than living off; personally i feel many international student get carried away easily when living in privately rented flats as they are more likely to be living with other immigrants who are working and tend to get sucked in, making that (earning an income) their main priority You get involved more with university life, your rooms cleaned once a week, you get repairs done by the management, no need to be chasing after some dodgy landlord who'll ask for more money, you might even get under floor heating!! |
if last years October made you do that, Hahahey... I wonder what you'd do if you came to Abuja now... Hens are virtually laying hard Boiled eggs with this kinda heat. Recently I jumped into a pool to cool off, mheeeeeen the water was so freak'n Warm. semochendo1: Where is the job?True, seems like there are none at the moment!! have you tried other states? Doubt you'll get accepted to do an MBA without work experience, and you'd probably be competiting for entry level jobs without adequate work exp |
http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/abuja-where-are-the-cctv-cameras-/141195/ Apart from these obvious setbacks in the completion of the project, THISDAY gathered that the recent decision of ZTE to retrench a good number of its Nigerian staff may further prolong the duration of the project which initial completion date was July, 2011 in accordance with the contractual terms agreed with the government. |
