hardbody: I haven't heard much about him before now. That says a lot about his antecedents. However I wish him the best in a bank that is waiting to be pushed into a hole. I will not make that move if i was in his shoe. A merger may see him thrown out again and experience has shown that at some level, getting jobs that match your last criteria aren't always easy but very possible. Congrats all the same.what makes you think his next project will be another 'job'? he's 'ripe' enough to start his own international consulting or move into government |
Kingslaw: I don't Want to say anything. but, waaaaat? person apply for job, attend interview and you're saying they want to bring him down? who are THEY? in fact i'll help you this is northern agenda too ![]() |
There are insinuations here that innoson brand cars are no good. How did we reach this conclusion? Consumer complaints? Accidents? Because low sales in many cases is not =low quality. Conversely high sales is not=high quality. Else gangnam style would be in the ranks of the greatest musical compositions of all time .But aren't any banks open to lending Innoson money for advertizing and that sort of thing? It could also be that there isn't enough capital to do so. What about private investors? Going public? How open are banks to fledging and new business ideas in Nigeria?
oh please no the next whinge will be some northerners/outsiders trying to take over his brainchild ...they were insinuations previously on that!! |
Whether we like it or not, the mentality and awareness in Nigeria is changing and people are being charged to court and the cases processed conclusively for once in our history.sorry, can you list some cases that have been processed conclusively as you put it? btw i thought this was a sting operation, how come it's taking this long and they still cant finf 'their own money'? |
demmy: Their vehicles are very very expensive. Only government can afford to buy them hence they are not marketing to Nigerians directly. IVM is a great effort but execution is poor. If they want to survive, they'll have to make their products affordable to the Nigerian masses and offset the loss by selling more cars to more people. Millions of Nigerians still dream of owning a car and I see no reason why they won't buy an IVM if its affordable.but some of them are being sold for about 1.7million according the CEO btw the ceo is the chief marketing officer, chief strategist, chief engineer, head pr, you'll never read a report about the company without the ceo being the centre of discussion |
A lot of Nigerians have a problem with self-disclosure, they only tell after the fact, some don’t even tell at all. They call you a friend but you don’t know when they’re about to buy a new car, move to a new house, get a new job, travel abroad, pass a test or are graduated from school. The travelling bit is the most common one i hear, I mean i know some people are jobless but it's not like they will leave everything they are doing to travel and hide on the highway just to rob or destroy your car Why cant you tell someone you're travelling so primitive |
0lumide: First of all, Innoson needs to patronize the government.. You have to give free vehicles to government staffs, have the safety agency guarantee that your vehicles are world standard and safe, give some government officials free vehicles as patronage, seek contracts, go on a pr campaign, give free vehicles for government functions, make a presidential spec of your car, offer the spec for presidential tour when he comes to your state, Give free school buses to strategic universities, polytechnics and secondary schools across the nation, Sponsor a popular event in Nigeria making your vehicle the official vehicle, sponsor some soccer teams by supplying your vehicles for matches and tours, sponsor famous artists to use your vehicles for tours and even personal cars..all these when they can just use sentiment/victimisation strategy abegi... |

asha 80: anambra state purchases most of their vehicles for state functionaries, schools, refuse trucks from the company.i know at least three private bus coys that do too so it is not like people do not patronize it just that not as much as expected.actually some of those sure p cars were sourced from there as seen from some there buses inl lagos.however hey i know how you feel about the company since it started so no suprised by your negative statements lol.come again... you know how I feel about the company since it started? how ? in case you don't know where I'm coming from search the 18+ topics related to this same company on nairaland! |

many thanks, My enquiry is more of medical/health checks not duties, she has two helps already and my cousin is still around, she is largely independent. Just needs medical service that does home visits for periodic checks and age related advice The aim of this organization is to help understand individuals, younger or older children and families who have other commitments and require someone to assit their parents, grandparents while they are at work, or live independently, or are married and live away from home. |
Are there any health institutions, hospitals or Private doctors that provide home visit for patients especially old patients? Basically looking for services like over BP, Blood test and general over 75 health check and advice |

Sam Milla: It doesnt matter to me if this man is Jesus or Muhammed. My question is:totally agree with you, Prof Nnaji was competent in the power ministry not because he was some reputed man of God but he's been there or thereabout and got the tshirt! Hope this guy doesn't get maradona'd when he get in there, Hope he gets deployed to somewhere he has competence in |
bump |
you can always give them a ring/email them.. ? |
babybird82: Thanks Dis guy.hmm I think you would be looking at about £400 for a decent hotel, you could get cheaper but you'll have to comprise with daily travel expense or inconvenience travelling to visit family or shopping route |
adonai36: Hello all, I am currently pregnant in the UK and intend to invite my mum over to witness the delivery and spend some few weeks but I am a little bit skeptical about mentioning pregnancy in the letter of invitation ( as this is perceived to deprive UK citizens of their babysitting job). Is it advisable to just go for Visit/Tourist Visa or invite her based on pregnancy?.I need the option that would stand a better chance.I think you should try the visit route is your mum a frequent traveller? has she been to the UK before? is she still working or runs a profitable business? her strong ties to Nigeria should be enough or atleast better than giving the officer many things to think about with pregnancy issue |
DeleolaErm why don't you just wait ? your chances are very slimg considering you are doing your nysc, you will be passing out next month so the rush why the rush? |
