if the question was to provoke him well it obviously work for the piglet, these pigs dont like being questioned

Why cant onovo tell us how many people the police have successful prosecuted for kidnapping, how many people they have arrested since the jos crisis, how many police man have been prosecuted for killing civillians and how many have been dismissed for collecting bribes in broad daylight, THATS HOW TO JUSTIFY YOUR AWARD, but the fat pig who under SA police rule would have been sacked for being obese is getting upset oloshi trailer will jam him on his way home at a police checkpoint

Its a lil painful cause am a Nigerian on these teams :
Cause Its a Nigerian business employing Nigerians and also providing livelihood for few Nigerians

But on the other hand as a customer i was happy  cause they've never done what they should do, all they do is run promos and buy cars

But we also have to look at the govt roll, which they dint play at all
Govt is only interested in that thing called NTA, they just gone into partnership with a Chinese company more competition for HiTV, HiTv should try Togo, Ghana,Benin and other parts of Nigeria

Tennis still dey there
Athletics
Boxing are major sports they can invest in both international and Local, the ycan spearhead the revival of the sport in Nigeria, bring more variety- but naija companies like finished products too much
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The End Of Hitv - Multichoice/dstv Wins Back Epl Coverage Rights In Nigeria by DisGuy: 1:11pm On Jul 23, 2010
folem, Dstv don't do things in halves, they are smart people, especially when it comes to Nigerians they know how to calm them down, they probably have the rights for naija league for a few years i can bet they hardly make money off the league infact its probably causing them embarrassment, what with the number of cancelled, abandoned games and violence during and after games

Hi-TV should try the NBA then also invest in Naija Basketball hosting some Celebrity basketball with Music,Bring in some American Basketballerz, naija youth like cool things whether e make sense or not! grin

something just came to my mind

if this happened in South Africa or any other country

would they allow a foreign company take the rights from a local company cos they couldn't pay?

wouldn't the Govt of the country help in facilitating the bank guarantee? cos the acquisition of the rights was solely dependent on that document

so wtf is wrong with our peeps/govt?

na wa
apparently some dude and woman in the rebranding camp didn't really look their way because they couldn't spend money on Nigerian League or any other Nigerian sport so breaking the bank for foreign footie is an affront

They already had a bank/investor, perhaps they were getting cold feet after looking at the first year result, you know Nigerian banks want you to start making profit to pay them after just one month!!

Thats the price we pay for operating in a Business environment that favours foreign more than indigenous, & let no smart backside from nairaland make any moronic comment on this topic because i have been in Subair's shoes before
In this particular case, how does the business environment favour foreign companies- this particular one was theirs to lose, when you know you have a MORE COMPETENT competitor sealing the deal before the previous season ends is the right thing to do! Nweke Jnr is not there anymore

And DStv even without the EPL still had huge following, Nigerian companies and their one product mentality

the south africans still beating us at our own backyard, well we can still bully Ghana small

why are you always dropping your number and email address?

if you want to do business learn to offer more information before requesting people call you
instead of wasting time emailing or calling they will know what youve got to offer before wasting your time and their own time

^^^

There's no rush, what's the rush with implementing Mallam Uwais election report?
What the rush in constitutional review when you dont really want to follow a set date!!

I don't mind moving the election dates but telling someone to conduct election with a new voters registry within months and not expecting a huge bill is laughable

you've criticized the previous board and system, what makes you think the new one will just fall in place free of charge
in a matter of months, changing the Head of iNEC is not the only solution to a credible elections

you dont need that, You need me to write you a fraudless software which I can do free and everybody can vote free.
You dont need that nonsense equipment.

You also can use cell phone to vote. All you need is the phone company use thier front end on a member group of cell phone to be used for election. and people go in and the result is withing less than 1 hour.
And what if the phone companies don't want to cos they have other things to do or they simply aint interested in some dodgy elections

Goodluck and his staff should contact these people for prices. They will get better stuff for less than N20bn as long as they dont mention they work for the Nigerian Government. cool

http://www.essvote.com/HTML/home.html

Nairalanders please help the silly government do their home work. Always inflating contracts shamelessly.
Do you know how many we will need? and we will need them all before January, we will need about 36 of their consultant for a months training, we will ne about 36 of the Engineers for repairs and servicing, we back up services and warranty all before December this year- im very certain companies like these will not keep 727 of these locked up in Canada hoping some Africans come for them
Politics › Re: Inec Wants ₦55b For Voters Register by DisGuy: 10:35pm On Jul 22, 2010
Well if you want new register before January you have to pay for it, why isnt anyone asking question about the previous one? Why cant Omatek and Zenox*e manufacture one anyway?

A core Igbo man be with you. Who knows those creeks better than us?
so you mean the Igbos know the creeks better than the Niger Deltans brrrrrrrrrrrrah i hail o

chyz:
Not going to happen. There are already refineries in nigeria. what is stopping them from maintaining those and opening them back up? There's no way foreign countries who make money off of refining nigerians oil will allow this to happen. They will continue to higher or have the godfathers destroy the pipelines or completely sabotage the refinery. China's just in Nigeria to collect there money. They already know whats going to happen. 7,000 jobs? yeah right keep telling the public what they want to hear. they've been doing this same thing for all these years, each year, and still no real refineries.
If the three in Nigeria are working at full capacity their output is still not enough for 1/3 of the country plus we need more gas for electricity

But I agree we signed a deal for the railway with the Chinese and nothings been heard ever since

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Supersport Acquires Epl Rights For Nigeria by DisGuy: 7:36pm On Jul 22, 2010

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Supersport Acquires Epl Rights For Nigeria by DisGuy: 6:39pm On Jul 22, 2010
Na wa O, When HiTv came Nigerians were shouting good riddance and South African this and that

Nweke Junior was all over the place shouting victory for nigerian companies

Now its the reverse

Nigerians keep complaining of South African Companies but they still have the biggest share of the nigerian market cos their know their stuff!!

Watch out for SA banks!!!

They could have had genuine relationships with the women. But had to leave after war.

If it was r@pe, I doubt the victim would know if they were Nigerians or not. "My people say wey car jam no dey pick plate number"
if they had genuine relationship they would have been back to get them except you mean regular ashewo

I think Nigerian army had the largest number in Liberia/sierra Leone, and [s]most african women can smell a nigerian miles away what with their loud gra gra[/s] Nigerians are a different breed they will know!
Politics › Re: ABB To Build Wind Power Plant For 700million Usd by DisGuy: 11:32pm On Jul 21, 2010
the bottom-line is Nigeria has spent Billions$ from 2000-2010 without anything to show for it

Nobody knows how much obj budgeted or planned or released, but the koko of the matter is that some $XXbillion has been spent on the power sector without improvement

XBillion (there must be a reason why the FG cant announce how much they've spent)
Politics › Re: Nigerian Soldiers Fathered 250,000 Kids In Liberia by DisGuy: 10:56pm On Jul 21, 2010
In other words these Soldier 'raepd' women they are meant to be protecting at will

they are just trying to twist the story like we got some missing people needing child benefits

The Liberians are looking to get these people prosecuted, the nigerian are looking to get some cash off the govt to set up another commission/database etc etc

Evans said the cable would enable mobile phone operators to launch enhanced services, increase speed and lower prices, boosting competition in Africa's most populous nation of 140 million people.
Yuuuh right
