I am beginning to think his issue with SLS is personal.
Get his number from Jarus, give him a call and settle your problem with him and stop disturbing us with this twisted logic you peddle here.
Having confirmed in the past that you pain is rooted in the loss you suffered in the stock market, maybe SLS may be able to settle you.

Sometimes as hosts we go out of our way to extend elaborate royal reception to our diaspora bros/sis so they feel welcome. And when they are abt to leave they distri $5-10 among the kids which even they (kids) find confounding and embarrassing. When they get back home they praise themselves on how much they saved.

Make una dey try. Abeg.

My dict's definition :

slum [slum]
noun (plural slums)
poor area: an overcrowded area of a city in which the housing is typically in very bad condition (often used in the plural)No

Now, what is your own definition? what is a very bad house like?

in my own words

A house without water, without good drainage, immobile, lack of proper ventilation, lack of privacy is a very bad conditional house. if this is what a slum means, then they might be right, but 11million people living in this kinda house in Lagos? i doubt that.

so let me break it down a little.

6-8million people live in the above described condition in my book.

4-6million people live in houses with water, good drainage, but around the above described condition.

that is 14million people already, so how did they come up with the 11million ratio of slum dwellers? did they go about checking the houses to know if they contain the basic needed appliances/materials of a standard house?
How did you come up with the figure yourself? 6-8 millions people, did you go about checking the houses.  .   .   .
lets see your book tongue

Following the recent alleged marriage of former Governor of Zamfara State
The former governor, a serving senator, had allegedly married a 13-year-old Egyptian girl. Such marriage is illegal in Egypt which prompted the senator to have allegedly moved the ceremonies to Nigeria.
how is it still alleged?

To be honest, I think a lot of the news we get is after the deals, and sometimes, the contracts have already been assigned and started. It is possible the companies submitted prototypes and stuff. So, I am thinking it is possible, depending on how many hands they have working on it. Normally, I would say at least 6 months for testing of a project of that magnitude but this is Nigeria so it is probably not required to be even 60% before deployment.
True, and its usually very easy for the project to be abandon with half the monies paid without the public knowing, another govt will probably announce the project again

Someone made a one line comment, no stats, no details nothing! yet swallow the words like some student

The effect of the recession worldwide - More regulation, credit squeeze, govt back loans, job losses

How exactly is that different from the situation in Nigeria? perhaps some people still believe the recession is not affecting the country!

In other parts where people are angry at the regulators and bankers for excess greed, we in nigeria are angry at the regulators for not allowing the status quo

Recently, the former Minister of State for Finance, Remi Babalola, told Sanusi that the Federal Government would like to see the blueprint on the banking reforms. The government’s demand, analysts said, emanated from the seeming confusion Sanusi’s conflicting pronouncements have caused

A typical example of bad reforms is the new directive that bank\'s should not operate ATMs outside their branches, this is one of the dumbest regulation in the banking world. Some un.informed Nigerians thought that would protect them against ATM fraud
Bad reforms that was agreed and signed by all the bankers pre-Sanusi era??
Why are the bank not complaining
i swear this country is weird-- are the CEO really scared of Sanusi cos they don't seem to be complaining

What is the opinion of CIBN, ICAN, etc etc stop posting about anonymous analyst
So you think the highly sensitive office of the NSA will not be getting feeds from seasoned economists/bankers? You seem not to understand how uncertainties in the economy can by extension transmute to serious security concerns for government.

May I ask, do you think these different sources you have some trust in, would hand SLS a better score when they sit down to appraise his policies so far?
#

Not necessarily but they would have said so by now Ngozie passed through without saying much- she has nothing to lose, Why is it left to a politician/business man to say this? why isnt the whole country with all the prof saying this in the open perhaps because they know something needs to be done

naijaking1:
You, Beaf, Paddy lo, and other people are some of the few honest Nigerians who have been brave enough to call a spade a spade, despite the well organized confusion created by paid agents, ethnic and religious supporters of Sanusi. While I can't congratulate anybody just because of our earlier position on Sanusi has almost been vindicative by the NSA, it's reassuring to note that all the things we've argued about our economy for the past 8 months have been sadly verified at the highest intelligence office of the land.
so the ministry of finance, national planning, all the economic prof in the land are scared of sanusi?

if it were possible to blame the global recession on Sanusi you guys will probably chip that in too!!

I tend to lean conservative, so the Tories will be a natural choice for me. The country is running huge deficits and racking up debts. If the next Govt fails to demonstrate serious commitment to tackle the deficit, the market will take fright leading to rising bond yields and major economic crisis. Of the 3 parties, the Tories seem most committed to tackling the deficit but even their policy seems half-hearted.

Nah, i dont want him to play outside, all i want is that he should be paid well, increase his salary 4x so he would do more and put more effort, i don't want our league best players to leave the league, if we want to improve our league, we should not allow money and greed blind us, we need our best in our league, let him be paid #1m or #2m per month, Kano Pillar's got the money to pay him, they are not broke.
Well i want him to play outside until the local league get their act together!
That way he can achieve his personal potential on playing on teh world stage or at least in a proper environment
where he will get well rewarded for his efforts get treated when he is injured and well looked after

If Aaron Ramsey, Djibril Cisse, Eduardo were to be playing in Nigeria, do you really think they will be alive or at least walking tongue

its not about money its about personal potential, the EPL didn't just offer money to attract the best, they offered better treatment-physio etc
better stadia, better security for players and officials, and more employment not just about wages its a total package

alabi, you are always against criticism why?

I think my criticism is valid, it is widely noted Nigerian players starting out, hold the ball for too long unnecessarily

Ahmed Musa apart from being the highest goal scorer in nigeria also has the highest number of assist for a striker - that's a sign of a good player!

Because in Nigeria, we do things upside down.

Game ended, 2 : 0.

Nigeria is the champion of this year's WAFU Nations cup. cool cool cool

Ahmed Musa, highest goal scorer of the tournament.
I told you this guy will be playing outside Nigeria very soon!!

the problem with nigerian players starting out is that they usually want to show themselves thinking only goals and time on the ball get them noticed
so they start playing to the gallery or perhaps they think the commentators will be call their name more
