That Egyptian milk was the biggest scam ever. Babes were dropping as much as N50k and more on cream that they weren't sure would do anything. Bleaching their lives away at any cost... Low self esteem na bad thing sha... |
Honestly you don't have an issue. This is a Problem that can be rectified. You want to leave ur marriage and raise your child in a broken home because ur husband is not giving you sex as often as you want it and only does it twice a month? Listen to yourself!! do you know that there are some women their husbands haven't touched for 2 years and more. Pple who are in worse situations than you are? Communicate properly with your husband, see a marriage counsellor if possible, buy him books to read, educate him etc your husband is very conservative , that's what the issue is, such people can be made to be more exposed to matters that are facing them. Lastly, learn to initiate sex, maybe he's the only one always initiating. It's not enough to just dress sexy and stay in bed, seduce him, show him that you want it so bad. Most men won't resist that. If he initiated previously, don't be hesitant to initiate next you feel like it, a counsellor will tell you same.Good luck |
OP wats the current situation of your marriage? Did you end up leaving him? I think your husband is highly irresponsible. I would have separated from him if I were in your shoes. But then again, I'm wondering if you didn't see these signs while you people dated? The lack of ambition and signs of laziness would have been obvious. Even at the point you noticed all wasn't going well and that there were financial issues, you shouldn't have gotten pregnant(family planning). The worst part is having to raise a child alone or in a broken home. Hopefully you were able to resolve the issue to a reasonable extent. |
ramuona:You are right, sometimes it's the stress of the wedding preparations and all the pressure being faced. Prior to my wedding it wasn't easy too, I and my husband were both cranky and stressed but then it's just a stage that will be overcomed. This could be part of the problem that her guy is having but then what about the other red flags of cheating etc. the only issue with leaving this man now is, finding someone else. What's the guarantee that the next man will be better? Most men these days cheat, so we can't say the next man won't cheat. He's not beating her or physically abusing her... So idk... it's something she really needs to think out before calling off the wedding, she knows the guy well enough to know if this is just a phase of stress that he is going through. If he wasn't like this month's before marriage preparations then it's most likely stress. Don't be in a rush to call it off before seeking proper advice from a counsellor or experienced married person as I had suggested in my other post and NB: most of the people here telling you to call it off wouldn't have done so if they were in your shoes. Don't let people mislead you, you should be the primary decider since you know this man better than we do. |
I don't understand your heading, you haven't entered the marriage yet and you are already crying that it is crashing. It's not too late to call it off but as a woman I understand your plight considering that the timeline is so close and all plans and arrangements have been made, invitations sent out, your friends don buy your aso ebi and money spent etc... Tough one! But ask yourself if you can manage what is ahead... Talk to someone who is experienced(married for long and elderly) so that they can give you a truthful insight/opinion and then based on that, weigh your options. My dear what you are Seeing now will be worse after marriage, so if you are miserable now, you will be even more miserable in the few months to come. Hopefully you get the strength you need to walk away and not settle for less. Good luck! |

Another avenue for them to promote runs and prostitution... Since they exposed that other abuja pageant that was pimping their queens to high society men and politicians, I have totally lost any respect that I have for the pageantry industry in nigeria |
I don't advice any woman to marry before 25. By 25, yes! After 30, the chances of her finding a partner are pretty slim. Btw these days I don't know if marriage is something that should be rushed into, it's no joke! |
Where in owerri is this shoprite? |
Nigeria's male Barbie doll ke? Abi michael Jackson. Absolute rubbish ![]() |
Sultanchidi:How much they pay you depends on how much is in the account. |
Sultanchidi:I used to get interest until December 2015. They used to pay as much as N3000+ interest to my Acct monthly. Then it reduced to N2k+, now nothing again. I wonder why... I will soon fully port back to diamond, that's another bank that pays very good interest to saving accounts. |
How much are these cars ? |
Depends. Once in a while, yes! Everytime no! Give your partner some space, no one likes to be choked. I used to check my husbands phone but not anymore, he doesn't check mine either. We trust each other |
Sultanchidi:Do you still get your monthly interest credited to your account? |
Yea I was charged this N100 fee last month. Was wondering what it was for. I also wonder why first bank is no longer paying me my monthly interests any more. Is it just me or are there other people affected? |
*grabs popcorn* more episodes of scandal loading.... |
If you genuinely need help, then you should leave a form of contact, email address, bank Acct details or phone number to reach you. |
Ndi Oshi, there is no way God would have let these crooks Come back for a second term ![]() |

kay29000:Wow! That's a whole lot of money |
She's your wife, forgive her. Remember the vows! It would be unecessary for you to end your marriage just because your wife got angry and broke your TV. She's human, we all get angry and yes she has over stepped the anger boundary. Just give her a serious warning and let her know that if it happens again, you will take drastic measures. She should also contribute towards the purchase of a new TV too. All the best as you resolve the issue... All will be well if you handle it with diplomacy |
Google the term 'pre-intimacy' .... |
Really unfortunate |
Adaure4ever:But he's saying the truth, most Nigerian ladies exhibit most of these behaviours listed above. Too many fake, badly behaved and extremely materialistic girls out there. Sadly, it's just a very few who have their heads together ... |
Yes you can get your money back. It's happened to me before, I was once fraudulently debited of N108,000 before. Called my bank immediately I noticed the alert . Infact I was at home when the alert came in saying that the purchase was made at a particular store in the US and my card had been debited, so you can imagine the shock I went through. Upon calling my bank, The bank blocked the card and investigation commenced. I was able to get my money back almost 2 and half months after I reported the incidence. So your own matter na small thing considering the amount involved in your case, just report it on time so that they can commence recovery efforts. |
The red flags are everywhere! The moment he slapped you was the moment you should have left his physically abusive ass! You better run before you enter one chance. If you decide to go on and Marry this man, you are on your own, don't come to nairaland 6 months from now asking us if you should seek divorce cos na u do yourself ... ![]() |
This minister is a very controversial woman. Everyone who knows her personally can testify to the fact that she is a renowned trouble maker. They should let the woman reunite with her children( it is very wrong to take away young children forcefully from their biological mother) but they should work towards a joint custody and equal visitation rights while they go ahead with the dissolution of the marriage, evidently the union cannot be salvaged anymore. The girl was just so slow in acting out, the moment she started being abused was the moment when she should have walked away.... She was more concerned in making peace at the expense of her happiness. Not good! She can't tell me that she didn't suspect that something would happen during the proposed trip to nigeria even with all the issues that were already existing. It's just unfortunate that it all ended this way. Lesson to other women, do not go into a family where you are not 100% accepted. |
Alejhandro:That's viola's son. Kema's surname is Chikwe not onwuliri |
pretydiva:That's her real age, she married yobo when she was just 18/19 |
Good luck to them! |
It's understandable if she has decided to get an annulment/divorce. I would have done the same, marriage based on decietful grounds is no marriage at all. But then again, I have to say that your sister didn't do her research during courtship well, it's not just enough to believe everything that someone says. also did your family not do a background search before consenting to give out their daughter in traditional marriage or is this not done in your tribe? Usually details like this are discovered during those periods. |
